- 修 (8/5): 移動は大変だったが、夜は静かでよく寝れた。 - イスラム国特有の早朝のコーランがあまり聞こえなくて助かった。スタッフは一様に親切で、日本語で挨拶してくれた。 初めてのバングラデシュ、ダッカの旅で、言葉が通じないため、オールドダッカ方面に行くにはメトロを使うにしても、そこに行くまで力車を使う必要があり、最初は大変だった。このホテルを選んだ理由は、空港に近いため、帰国時に車両の渋滞を気にしなくて済むと考えたためでしたが、帰国便が深夜だったため、オールドタウン近いところに泊まった方が便利だったと思う。

Every one of them is a genuine gentleman, especially Riaz, who has been a pleasure to know over the past few years. He consistently ensures you’re comfortable and always has a genuine smile on his face. People like Riaz make you want to return repeatedly. Thank you, Riaz, for your excellent service. for a single person or even two people the rooms are enough. There’s absolutely nothing bad about the hotel but their standard is really high.

- Pommie (7/5): Handy to the airport but one problem - Handy location for early flights and also quiet, some distance from the main road but with many streetside stalls for last-minute shopping. I had a nice clean room and the staff helped to lift the TV so I could connect my Amazon firestick to the back of it! They also gave me a welcome basket of fruit, nice gesture. The only eggs at breakfast were boiled but they kindly agreed to make me an omelette instead. AVOID their airport shuttle! The receptionist tried to sell it to me when I checked in, so I asked how much it was. He said 2,000 Taka ($16.50). I told him that sounded a lot since it was only a 10-minute drive and Uber only wanted a tiny fraction of that. He didn't give up, warning me I'd have a problem getting an Uber at 7am, but I still declined. The next morning I called for an Uber at 7am and while I was waiting 3 hotel staff circled me and put pressure on me to take their expensive shuttle instead. It was unpleasant. The Uber arrived in 2 minutes and only cost me 239 Taka. Their shuttle is a rip-off.

- Mukti (5/5): The Booking. Com should inspect hotel facilities and provide the correct rating. We used to staying in 4* in European c - Closer to airport and staffs are polite and friendly. We stayed at Uttara platinum residence which is Not a 4* standard at all but pricy. No extra ordinary facilities are available that a 4* hotel provides usually. Also too many people gathered for assisting which is a bit awkward. Hallway is very congested and seems like a residential property has turned to a hotel. I have never seen such hallway of a 4* hotel. AC didn’t work, breakfast was mainly stuff from lunch menu and lastly got charged 190BDTK for a mini Coca Cola and a small box of Pringles cost more than 350BDTK and was stale.

Then, I came to my hotel Platinum Residence and I met Iqbbal the the front of desk manager who seem to be studying hotel management at Dhaka Uni I also met Sabbir from the kitchen amd Raju who is like the care taker in the Hotel these three young man made my day. They are the real Bangladeshis kind, warm hearted and made me feel what real Bangladesh is all about. May God bless them them all, they understood my my pain, my day and acted accordingly to make me feel good. Now I feel good at the luxurious setting of my room. These amazing three young Men made changes to the whole perception of how I take Banhladesh as a Whole. Amazing thank you Iqbal, Raju and Sabbir though you may not comprehend what you just did to your country.👏👏👏👏
