- Linda (8/5): Genoten van een prettig verblijf in Wassenaar. - De ligging was goed voor ons reisdoel : Museum Voorlinden. Eigenlijk is vasttapijt niet zo hygiënisch, vind ik. Onze kamer (126) rook ook erg muf. We hebben meteen de ramen open gezet.

- Stijn (7/5): Verblijf was prima, maar niet voor langer dan 1 nacht. - Het personeel deed N uiterate best om mij tegemoet te komen. Ik had een hele dag gereisd en had trek in iets kleins. Ik was pas laat in het hotel en de keuken was eigenlijk al gesloten. Ze konden alleen bittergarnituur aanbieden. Maar de ober van dienst heeft ervoor gezorgd dat ik een salade met wat brood en tapenade en boter kon krijgen. Uitermate sympathiek. De kamer was wat gehorig (de buren praatten tot heel laat (12:30) en ‘s ochtends was er een hoop rumoer op de gang en klapten kamerdeuren aan de lopende band dicht. Bovendien was er een van de balkondeuren niet helemaal in orde waardoor het ‘s nachts leek alsof er iemand onophoudelijk op het raam klopte. Dit heb ik bij het uitchecken gemeld aan de receptie. Der Zugang / Zufahrt zum Hotel Parkhaus konnte leider nicht ermöglicht werden obwohl eine Mitreisende Person Gehbehindert war und der Weg zum Zimmer via Aufzug dann einfach gewesen wäre. So musste ich draußen Parken. Der zweite Besuch im Restaurant war enttäuschend, die Bestellung wurde nicht korrekt aufgenommen, dadurch sehr lange Wartezeit

- marie france (9/5): Très agréable - Chambre spacieuse, propre. Petite terrasse même si nous n'avons pu en profiter car il pleuvait. La literie était top, salle de bain nickel. Petit déjeuner très varié et succulent. Dommage que les personnes ne savent pas vraiment se garer et occupent 2 emplacements, mais nous avons fini pas trouver un emplacement quasi en face de l'accueil après avoir cherché tout autour du bâtiment.

- Kate (7/5): 4 times a charm! - The breakfast was absolutely incredible - everything you could imagine wanting in one area, well presented. I ended up moving rooms 4 times - the first 3 rooms I was assigned had various issues (next to busy road, funky smell, smokey smell) and they were all located in an area of the hotel that is clearly not the renovated part so it did not look like the pictures online or what I was expecting. It was a bit awkward to go back to reception and keep letting them know I was not satisfied but in the end they assigned a great room, high floor, back facing that was brand-new looking. I wonder why this was not offered from the get go? Perhaps I didn't understand what I was booking but it should be clarified then because it's confusing and the old rooms really are not the Van Der Valk quality one would expect.

- Naomi (8/5): - De suite was heerlijk, voelde erg privé. De inrichting is stijlvol en de sauna en jacuzzi waren een heerlijke treat. Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk! De suite was helemaal aan het verste uiteinde van hotel gelegen en was daardoor een eind lopen en niet erg praktisch te bereiken vanuit de receptie.

Niet essentieel, maar iets wat voor vrouwen fijn zou zijn.

- Mike (6/5): Wel oke - Locatie en design van de kamer De koffie is hier, zoals eigenlijk in veel hotels, echt slecht. Het lijkt alsof die apparaten nooit vervangen of onderhouden worden. Daarnaast hadden wij twee borden en wat bestek van huis meegenomen om taart te eten. Daarna is dit uit de kamer verdwenen. Toen we de receptie belden, stonden we eerst ruim 15 minuten in de wacht. Vervolgens leek het verhaal de oudere dame van de receptie weinig te interesseren. Er werd aangegeven dat het erg druk was en dat er geen tijd was om te kijken. Pas na aandringen werd er zogenaamd in de spoelkeuken gekeken. De conclusie was na 20 seconden: “Ik weet niet waar ze zijn.” Vervolgens werd gezegd dat we dan maar twee bordjes en wat bestek van het hotel konden meenemen. Alleen blijft ons eigen bestekset thuis nu natuurlijk incompleet. Wat ik vooral niet begrijp, is dat housekeeping niet ziet dat dit geen servies of bestek van het hotel is. Het ziet er namelijk totaal anders uit qua kleur, formaat en stijl. Je zou verwachten dat receptie personeel later op z’n minst even doorgeeft aan de keuken dat afwijkend servies apart gehouden moet worden wanneer het gevonden wordt. Nog belangrijker: er werd totaal niet meegedacht over een passende oplossing. Als een gast servies van het hotel mee zou nemen, zou dat waarschijnlijk direct een probleem zijn. Maar wanneer eigendommen van een gast verdwijnen, lijkt het niemand echt iets te kunnen schelen.

- Mark (9/5): Would have stayed another day just to relax at the hotel! - The Hotel was very nice, the check in was simple and easy, and the rooms were big and spacious. The restaurant was really good with a nice vareity of well prepared meals, and the breakfast buffet was exceptional, with a massive vareity of freshly cooked and freshly prepared food available. The coffee machines are not that great at breskfast time and I would have preferred a barrista made coffee to match the quality of the rest of the experience. We nearly missed out on dessert as we ate at the restaurant but they did not take the dessert order before the kitchen closed. We had to ask again because of this, but it was easily resolved and we did get our dessert order in the end.

- RaLuci (8/5): Room for improvement. - Location was superb. Executive room was massive. The triple room was just as big. Clean. Decent choice breakfast but you pay for what you get. Reception staff could've been a bit more welcoming ie they saw us walking to the restaurant but didn't bother to say hello... 2 of them there chatting away. Other hotel staff were very nice, ie saying Good Morning or Hello shouldn't be so difficult one assumes... Had higher hopes for the price 🤷♂️

De kamer was verzorgd, voldoende parkeergelegenheid, afsluitbare fietsenstalling en vriendelijk personeel! De prijs, ik vond 175 euro per nacht zonder ontbijt best prijzig, ook het alcoholvrije biertje van 7 euro aan de bar schrok ik van. De kussens waren fluffy, ik had graag keuze gehad. Nu kon ik kiezen uit 4 fluffy kussens.

- Anne-Marie M (8/5): Onpraktische douche met dunne straal - Prachtig hotel, goede ligging, mooie kamer, goede service De badkamer was prachtig, maar onpraktisch. Als vrouw wil je vaak niet onder een regendouche. Onhandig als je je haar droog wil houden (douchekapje is niet genoeg) of juist als je je haar wil wassen. De handdouche kon je namelijk niet hoog genoeg ophangen om er lekker ontspannen onder te staan terwijl je haar droog blijft, maar ook niet om je haar onder te wassen (je moet onhandig door je knieeen of de douchekop de hele tijd boven je hoofd vasthouden en dat met lang haar). De douchestraal was ook nog eens dun/slap. Je kan denken: wat maakt het uit voor die paar nachten, maar voor een executive kamer viel dat tegen.

- Saagar (1/5): The worst staff and room service. Would never rhink about staying again there - The hotel on itself is beautifull. Restaurant is nice. Easy parking Stayed there from 17th April till 22th April, room 117. Day 1 the room was clean noce and tidy. Day 2 room service did not cleanup my empty bottles and glasses put on the desk. Day 3 and Day 4 hand saop amd shower gel was finished, so 2 days they didnot replace it, thankfully i had my own shower gel. Not even toilet papaer. Day 5 my room was not even cleaned, not even clean towels, garbage can was not cleaned up 3 days. No toiletnpaper again. Bed was messed up. And those 2 lasts days incomplained st front desk, only thing they said sorry we will look into it. I would never nook this hotel again. Also the bathroom sink very dirty.

Het avondeten. Misschien slecht gekozen? De service verliep echt niet vlot, te wijten aan een tekort aan personeel? Het ontbijt daarentegen was excellent.

Breakfast was really good, lots of options and also fresh juices you could prepare yourself. There was a smell when you first walked in the room. When taking a shower the water leaked out and floor became very wet.

Ook mooi dat er een balkonnetje bij zit en koffie-/theefaciliteit. Fijne bedden. De badkamer heeft geen deur, dat is wat onhandig bij een 3-persoonskamer. De douche had maar een heel zacht straaltje, daar kun je niet goed mee (haren) wassen. Koelkastje was vies en er zat nog een lege verpakking water in. Tv-zenders stoorden.

- Guide790597 (8/5): Good value of money except for an experience at the bar - We booked family room for four adults (my parents, me and my husband) and a dog. We arrived to find out that dog was not allowed in the family room. The staff found a solution to give us a pet friendly room which became a very pleasant memory to us. Rooms were great. Breakfast was fantastic. Good selection of food and worth money. However, the max temp on the temp controller was 24 and it was not warm enough during the night. One unpleasant experience was at the bar. We went to bar to drink beer. We ordered two beer and it took 20 minutes to be served. It was served by a guy, When we got two beer, we ordered two more for my parents to this guy. It didn’t come after 20 minutes and we checked with the guy and he simply said “it’s coming”. I couldn’t understand why it took more than 20 minutes to bring a draft beer.. it was not busy at all. Even after 20 minutes for him to say it is coming, it did not come. We had to cancel the order and leave. We couldn’t hear him apologising. Other than that, everything was good and other staffs were all great.
