- Dr.med.Daniela (8/5): Super dovolená - Klidná čtvrť , nejbližší obchod je 2-3km´ rovněž i pláž. Využívaly jsme taxi. Jsou tu překrásné východy Slunce a sympatický pan Edgar, který nám vysvětlil chod ostrova a vždy nám byl nápomocný. Vše bylo funkční, kuchyně je dobře vybavená, všeho jsme měly dostatek.

- van der Wallen (7/5): Het was een fijn appartement op een super locatie. - De locatie van het appartement was super. Op een rustige plek dicht bij Philipsburg. Ook het uitzicht op zee was prachtig. Edgar de host was super vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam. Het appartement was niet echt schoon. Er lag veel stof op sommige plekken en de vloer was niet echt schoon. Ook liepen er mieren over het aanrecht.

- Deia Craveiro (10/5): Nossas férias com vista espetacular!! - Fomos super bem recebidos pelo Edgar que nos mostrou toda a acomodação e se colocou a disposição para qualquer necessidade. A vista é espetacular. Dormir com o barulho das ondas é indescritível. Edgar foi de uma delicadeza e preocupação interrompendo as obras de melhoria qye estão sendo realizadas, para que pudéssemos ter um maior conforto e privacidade. Super recomendo. Como tudo que fica muito perto do mar, pudemos observar o desgaste que a maresia causa nas estruturas (infelizmente essa é a realidade à beira mar) Fiquei um pouco triste pois nas fotos mostrava que poderíamos nos utilizar de um deck, porém o local está passando por reforma (a qual foi interrompida durante o tempo de nossa estadia para que tivéssemos um maior conforto) e essa parte ficou inacessível para nós.
- Maja (9/5): Perfect for relaxing after a day of diving - Off the beaten track, comfortable, quiet and yes the view is directly out to sea. Not though that if you diving from KimSha beach area allow double the time Google maps says to get there. Traffic can be very slow.
- David (10/5): Wonderful and relaxing with great views and the sound of the waves. - The apartment was great and Edgar is very friendly & helpful. Edgar has a number of apartments available. They are in the Dutch, east Point Blanche neighbourhood right on the coastline, in a quiet, residential, safe, rocky, exposed part of the island, so it has great views towards St. Barts & Saba and you hear the waves crashing against the rocks. Perfect as we wanted a place where we could leave windows/doors open & fall asleep listening to the waves! While not luxury, the apartment is a good size, well appointed, & everything works. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a well appointed kitchen/living area, 2 private patios & parking out front. You will need a car as there aren’t any beaches, restaurants, bars, or shops within walking distance. There are 3 very friendly dogs living nearby who will great you when you arrive or leave, so please be careful of them when driving so as not to hurt them. They are wonderful & made us smile every day. There is also a large group of iguanas who live amongst the rocks below the patios, who sun themselves on a shared patio & whom the dogs love to chase given the chance! The island is small. You can drive anywhere you need to go within 30mins, however twice a day during ‘rush hour’ there are some pinch points that back up & you can get stuck for 30+ mins if you time it wrong, so be aware. You drive past the Cruise port to go anywhere, so that can get a little busy if a ship is disembarking. There are some decent bars on the Dutch side (D’s on Simpon Bay Beach was nice & laid back, Grumpy's is also good & close) but the food is better on the French side of the Island, with some great options in Orient Beach, Grand Case, & Marigot. The Dutch side uses the Netherlands Antillean Florin (NAF) & the French side the Euro, but most places take credit cards. The Dutch side has 110v with US sockets, the French 240v with euro sockets.

- Vladin (9/5): We found the host to be excellent. Accommodations are not for luxury seekers, but was perfect for us - There was no breakfast included. We purchased our own supplies and cooked breakfast in the kitchen. Which was exactly what we wanted, gave us the independence that is not available in all-inclusive resorts. Water pipes a bit noisy. A kitchen hood and a small exhaust would do wonders.

- Lucrecia (9/5): Relaxing stay with breathtaking view. - By far, the location is the best. Aside from being in a quiet neighborhood yet close to town, it is a dream come true to wake up to the sound of waves hitting the rocks and the view is just stunning. We could watch the fire work show in Saba from our balcony. It does not get better than that. That view and the sound of the waves makes up for all the other limitations the place may have. And the owner is very nice and friendly. The internet signal was surprisingly strong. It wasn’t as clean as we would’ve wished for and some of the towels and shower curtain really need to be replaced. However, from reading the reviews I was already prepared for this so it did not come as a surprise. Also, we had some power outage issues which were quickly fixed. Not the owner’s fault. Still, we would definitely go back and would definitely recommend the place.

- Christine (9/5): A great place to visit the Dutch side of the island ! - A cute apartment with a deck facing the wild coast of the Caribbean. It is situated in a residential neighbourhood about 3km from the boardwalk in Philipsburg. A 3 km hiking trail to Guana bay is very close by. Edgar was easily accessible and made good suggestions. The propane stove!

It is not the Ritz, but had all the amenities we needed.. The view of the water from our balcony was spectacular. One of the drawbacks.. we had to drive to the beach.. no swimming within walking distance. But that was okay

- Lra110psu (1/5): Never again - don't be duped - Not a bad location. We did enjoy seeing the waves crash against the beach. Be advised: You must pay up front, with NO chance of getting out of your stay. My mother is disabled and can only walk short distances. When we arrived we noticed how treacherous the terrain would be for her. There is no parking lot, so the entrance is on a hill. When we got inside she almost had an accident in the shower as there is nothing to hold on to. Beyond that, the place is not in good shape. The owner was asked by booking.com to please adjust the dates of our stay so we could find a more suitable location for our family. He said absolutely not. So we were just stuck here for the entire length of our stay. So just be aware that if you pay him up front, there's no way out
- Milan (10/5): Exceptional - The ocean view is breathtaking even from inside of the apartment. The balcony is very unique. It is very hard to find an accommodation with this kind of closeness to the ocean. The location is perfect. It was very easy to reach it by car, and we could park right in front of our apartment. The apartment is well equipped. The owner, Edgar lives just a few apartments away. He was very friendly and helpful. He gave us a complete map of recommended places, gave us some advice regarding the island, where to shop, where to go, etc. All in all. What you see on the pictures is what you get in real life. One thing to notice is that the wind is very strong and the crushing waves are really loud. Don't expect it to be quite at any time, but if you enjoy the sound of waves you will like it. One bonus stuff is that you neighbours are iguanas. Just next to the apartment there is a bush where they probably have a nest. They protect it very aggressively, so don't panic when they run tovards you. If we ever come back to St. Marteen again, there is a high chance we come to this place again as well.

- Loaldo (9/5): A great place to stay if you want to get away from the noise of the town. - The patio had a beautiful view of the sea. The sound of the waves was very soothing. Our host was extremely helpful and friendly. The location requires you to be with a car. If I did't mind being car dependent I would have given it a 10.
