• marcelo (5/5): Decepcionado con el hotel, las habitaciones son muy malas. - la ubicación y la decoración de las partes comunes es un hotel en el 1er piso de un edificio, tiene 9 habitaciones de las cuales 6 dan a un patinillo(bastante deteriorado y con muy mal mantenimiento) no se sabe si es de dia o de noche, Hay que estar siempre con luz artificial y no tienen ventilación, la ventana no se abre. No tiene ninguna relación con las partes comunes,

• HJ (9/5): A charming and secure boutique find in the heart of Barcelona! - We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel is perfectly tucked away inside a secure, code-access building right across from the stunning Casa Batlló. It’s a small, intimate space that feels much more like a cozy B&B than a standard hotel, which was exactly what we were looking for. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast each morning was a wonderful highlight. Plus, being within walking distance of public transit and so many attractions made exploring Barcelona so easy. The only downside was some ongoing exterior construction that obscured our street view and dimmed the natural light. However, the hotel makes up for it with incredibly charming common areas that feel like a peaceful retreat from the busy city. It has a very intimate, 'enclosed' vibe, which is lovely, just something to keep in mind if you prefer rooms with lots of big windows.

Pencereden dışarıya bakmak mümkün değil. Camın önünde çalışan insanlar görmek pek hoş olmadı. Bize verilen diğer odanın hiç penceresi yoktu. Sonradan oda olarak yapılmış ve fiyat olarak da diğer oda fiyatlarıyla aynı. Müşteri bütün bunlar için önceden bilgilendirilmeliydi. Tanıtım fotoğraflarında her şey muhteşem görünüyor ancak gerçek çok farklı. Kötü bir deneyim oldu.

• Juliana_Goh (10/5): Home away from home - All in, we have had a wonderful almost two weeks there. The gals & guy were all hospitable and welcoming. We felt well at home staying there. Location wise, it’s excellent. Room wise, it has all the necessary comforts that one needs and expects of a small boutique hotel. Food wise, the breakfast spread wasn’t extensive but of quality. We had freshly fried eggs each morning. Although our room was facing the main road, the sound proofing is good. We didn’t hear the traffic. No regrets choosing this place.

A localização é a melhor para quem vai para Barcelona, no coração da paseo de gracia, com isso fizemos quase todos os passeios turísticos a pe! Valeu super a pena a hospedagem! • PamM652 (10/5): Margot House was perfect for us - Margot House was the perfect combination of comfort, quiet, simple elegance, and a first-rate staff who are focused on guest care. There is peaceful shared living room space for guests and an ample, tasteful breakfast that can suit most needs, including cooked to order eggs. This nine room boutique hotel is located right in the heart of Barcelona's toney Passeig de Gracia, but is quietly situated off street level with discreet secure access. We appreciated the sense of security as female travelers. Only one disappointment: the facade of the building was covered in scaffolding and tarps during our stay, so what would have been a superb view of Battlo House was completely obscured. That issue aside, we highly recommend this gem of a stay for those who value location, quiet, security, and personal care.

• Melanie (9/5): - The location, centre in everything. Although our last day was the day of the Barcelona Marathon and streets are closed. We had a hard time getting to the airport, considering my husband is on a wheelchair with two luggages. It was a struggle, trying to figure out transport, taxi's cancelling. We ended up using Metro Train, and bus transfers from terminals but we take it as a part of the experience, we get there eventually after almost 2hrs, but the effort though.. Veronica from reception was really great too! Very friendly and tried her best to help us out during our stay. Well, when we get there we couldn't figure out where the hotel was because there was no signs, due to some building works covering the building, have to ring reception and meet us outside. A bit hard for wheelchair users too to enter the building because of the heavy gates to enter. So if you're a single traveller on a wheelchair, not really recommended at all. Also, there is a tiny step at the entrance as well. I also think the lightings in the room, they try to get the cozy vibe, a bit dim but we needed more lighting, that is just our preference. The lights in the toilet is great though.

Was worried about the key drop off system but it was never an issue. Loved the Aesop body care in the showers but would have been nice to have body lotion as well as travellers seldom carry so many liquids.

• Mireia Llena (5/5): Regular relacion precio-servicio - Habitació grande, con personal 24h Indicaciones erroneas, no era insonorizada como ponia por lo que mi pareja no pudo dormir en toda la noche por ruidos exteeiores e interiroes, el anuncio de booking ponia que el desayuno estaba incluido en todas las opciones y no fué asi, se habia de pagar 25€ por cada desayuno, ponia que habia snacks en la habitación y solo habia un par de bebidas, ponia que habia accesorios de uso personal de los cuales solo habia para 1 persona cuando eramos 2, ademas que el anuncio no ponia que el masaje o los baños publicos fueran de pago y al final resultaba ser 100€ por persona adicional.

• LIPING (10/5): 整个城市不错，就是住宿税太坑人了 - 1. 预订的时候就感觉像是酒店式公寓，到了发现果然是的。酒店就在金拱门旁边，对面是巴特罗之家。进门要按铃，整体安全性很好。前台很热情的给我们介绍了整个酒店，也都按我们的要求提供了很好的服务。 2. 房间里所有东西都是免费的，包括迷你吧里的可乐，水和啤酒。 1. 不知道是酒店外墙还是旁边的施华洛世奇门店在装修，隔音效果很差。 2. 早餐种类不多，但该有的基本上都有。 3. 巴塞罗那住宿要收城市税，我们住了两天一共收了22欧——这让我们对巴塞罗那的印象一下子跌到了谷底。

• 606lilianq (10/5): A Warm, Boutique Gem in the Heart of Barcelona - We had the most wonderful stay at Margot House during our recent trip to Barcelona. I was traveling with my mother, who is in her mid-eighties, and from the very beginning the entire experience felt thoughtful and welcoming. The whole staff was incredibly kind — genuinely warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Because I was traveling with my mother, having an elevator available made a huge difference and allowed her to move around comfortably and with ease. One morning we came down to breakfast a bit later than planned, but despite that, the team made sure we were perfectly taken care of. They kindly offered us tea and coffee, warmed up extra toast, and prepared delicious scrambled eggs for us. We never felt rushed — only cared for. Our room was clean, warm, and beautifully maintained. The ambiance of the hotel felt spacious yet boutique, calm and serene — a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the hotel itself. We will absolutely return on our next visit to Barcelona. In fact, I’m already thinking that next time I’ll come back with my husband so he can experience this lovely place too. Highly recommended! --Lilian & Angelina

• Maia (10/5): - The nicest boutique hotel in one of the main streets Barcelona, and surprisingly quiet though. Our windows were looking right at Casa Battló, so it was quite an experience. We were also impressed by the large choice of books in the hotels’ lounge. And the breakfast was delicious, too. That if we would not be lucky enough to get an awesome discount on our stay we probably would miss the opportunity to stay in this boutique hotel.

• aspiring_tokaloshe (8/5): Great Base Camp for Touring Barcelona - Margot House Hotel is a boutique hotel located on Paseo de Gracia - the heart of downtown Barcelona close to expensive shopping and, more importantly, Casa Battlo, which is a Gaudi masterpiece across the street. The hotel itself is located on the second floor of a fairly non-descript building. Most of the hotel has no windows, which could make some claustrophobic. However, the interior design is truly top notch, surrounded by great art and comfortable seating areas, which makes one forget about the lack of direct light. (There are a couple of street-facing rooms, but I wonder how quiet they are given the street they face is very busy.) Our room was upgraded and was fairly large, but - with any small hotel - the soundproofing was not perfect, and you could hear doors and people moving through the hotel. The amenities in the room were mostly of a high standard as one would expect. There were some parts of the room that could have used a deeper clean, but that it probably nitpicking. Most importantly, the staff were all lovely. From our arrival to departure, they couldn't do enough to make our stay more comfortable. Thank you. In summary, if you're looking for a small (somewhat quirky) boutique hotel that is very well located for touristy endeavors, you could do much worse than Margot House. We personally prefer hotels in slightly quieter parts of town.

• Kanzi (8/5): Beautiful design and location with a few drawbacks. - Excellent location. Our room had a view of Gaudi’s famous building, which was amazing. The hotel room itself was beautifully decorated, and very spacious. We appreciated the free drinks and I loved the bathtub. 1. The key system is a bit odd. You must give your key back to reception before you leave, which means you have to ring the doorbell every time you come back. Once we had to wait for 10 minutes, with me repeatedly ringing the bell, which was pretty inconvenient. 2. Our room had a strong sewage smell that came out of the bathroom each night. Very off putting. 3. There is little to no soundproofing, which means anyone that comes in from reception can be heard clearly.

• Carol (9/5): Lovely attentive staff. Large room with a comfortable bed - Staff pleasant friendly and helpful. Bath was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. Fridge available was very useful. Breakfast a little limited for the English taste but great if you like fruit, yogurt and pastries. Scrambled eggs and omelette very tasty. Complimentary water cola and beer a nice touch. Good quality bath towels. Difficulty with the security system. A faff getting in each time. Street noise during the night disturbed sleep. Dim lights in the room made reading difficult. Tv only in Spanish not smart so no choice. Netflix etc would have been welcome. We had difficulty getting the room a comfortable warm temperature. Toilet cistern made a continuous dripping noise. Socket next to bed not working (only with an adapter). No kettle in room to make a coffee. No large mugs for the type of coffee we’re used to. Conversation in hallway/reception amplified & could be easily heard behind closed door of room. I struggled to feel relaxed overall. Noise in the building could be intrusive.

The service was excellent—attentive, warm, and always delivered with a sense of privacy and genuine friendliness. The atmosphere truly felt like a home away from home, with thoughtful touches throughout the property. The team went out of their way to make my boyfriend feel special on his birthday, surprising him with wine, balloons, and streamers that made the moment unforgettable. This hotel is an absolute GEM with exceptional hospitality and charm. I would highly and wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

• Nancy (10/5): Hotel Margot is a hidden gem!!! - Perfect location! Small personable boutique hotel with only 9 rooms. The staff are absolutely wonderful & so accommodating! Very warm and friendly! They will go above and beyond to help you in any way they can! The beds are extremely comfortable & the rooms are exceptionally clean & cozy! Would highly recommend!!! Nothing at all!
