Chambre un peu ancienne mais cela fait aussi le charme. Salle de petit déjeuner sans fenêtre, mais le bon service et la gentillesse compensent.

• Martin (6/5): - Das Hotel ist sehr zentral nur wenige Minuten Fußweg vom Bahnhof und vom Schloss entfernt. Es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Cafés in der Nähe. Die Straße vor dem Hotel ist extrem ruhig und die Gegend wirkt sicher. Leider gab es in unserem Zimmer Schimmel an den Wänden, der scheinbar schon einmal versucht wurde zu entfernen, jedoch weiter wächst. Der Teppich im Zimmer ist stark verschmutzt, fleckig und das Bad sehr klein. Wenn die Sauberkeit stimmen würde und es keinen Schimmel gäbe, würde ich wiederkommen.

• Brands_03 (8/5): Good to be Back. - It was good to be back in this neat, clean, unassuming little hotel in Vincennes. It’s 2 stars are probably appropriate but be prepared for better. It’s perfectly positioned down a quiet street less than a 5 minute walk fro the Vincennes RER A station, and the many restaurants and shops of this vibrant area. I’ve been coming here for 4 years on and off, less the last 14 months of weirdness of course, and it was so good to be back. I leave before breakfast everyday so I can’t comment on it but, the rooms are extremely clean, air con equipped, with copious hot water for the shower. I’m due back in Oct so things are returning to normal. Don’t forget your pass sanitaire.

• sylvie (6/5): - Je ne peux rien dire sur cet hôtel car 2 jours avant ma venue l’hôtel m'a informé qu'il ne pouvait pas me recevoir car ma chambre avait été louée par ailleurs( surbooking sans doute) dès lors il a trouvé une chambre dans un autre hôtel et à payé le supplément. Je ne saurais donc jamais comment est l’hôtel Le Home. Le seul souci c'est que j'avais choisi cet hôtel compte tenu de sa proximité avec ma réunion et que l'hôtel de rechange était plus éloigné.

Easy walk to the Metro and wide choice of local restaurants. Quiet - away from the hassle of Central Paris but easy access to all the sighjts by Metro Ligne 1.

• Luciana (8/5): Friendly and nice 2 stars hotel - I stayed at Le Home for a week for work, it is a real 2 stars hotel. The owner, Jeff, is really attentive and nice! The rooms are small (mine was very small) and the bathrooms was even smaller, I was alone so I could manage, but might be challenging for a couple (at least the room number 4!). It is supposed to be a non smoking hotel, but it seams as there are some guests smoking on the windows sometimes, leaving the a stinky smell on the curtains that I could feel when I closed them overnight (they were supposed to take care of it but they didn't so I ended up sleeping with them open to avoid it!) Breakfast is simple but good (still dreaming about the coffee!t!) & the area is lovely: the hotel is on a tree lined & quiet street, there are many cafes and restaurants and a couple supermarkets near by & the subway is very close. Overall I had a good stay, and I heard many guests leaving (the mornings that I had breakfast) very happily!

• Brands_03 (8/5): Quiet and very well placed - Stayed here for a week during a trade show and have been back subsequently. The hotel is on a very quiet back street a stone's throw from Vincennes RER station. Away from the street are all the great bars and restaurants of this busy suburb. The hotel is 2 star establishment but don't be put off. The owner is a Canadian who has moved to France - he understands customer service, which is often a boon in Paris..... The rooms are compact but my 2 were immaculately clean, air conditioned and quiet. There was just enough wardrobe space to hang a week's worth of shirts and suits and the bathrooms are very small - tricky enough for me alone but it would be pretty tight for a couple's worth of toiletries. I didn't have breakfast but it looked nice and fresh with croissants and bread from the local bakers. My only negative comment was that I'd have liked a kettle in my room, but I am a tea drinking Brit!

La chambre était bien insonorisée (3ème étage). La chambre et la salle de bain était propre, avec une TV et le wifi de qualité. Pas testé le petit déjeuner. Hôtel que je recommande vivement.

• malcolmh874 (10/5): A Wonderful Off the big street boutique hotel - This is a treasure! The owner is an American man who moved to France years ago, became fluent in French, learned to hotel industry by starting as a dishwasher in a hotel dining room. He has bought this small hotel in a corner of Vincennes that is close to all, but off of the big streets. It is quirky, clean and comfortable with modern amenities. Walking distance to the Chateau de Vincennes, the begninning point of the core metro line that runs across all of Paris and within an area of restaurants, and charming places to noodle. There is no elevator, but smart travelers travel light and you will not be disappointed with this incredible value in a great part of Paris. Street market is on Fridays and Tuesday's about two blocks away. FUN. This is Paris environs at their best.
• gatekepa (8/5): Quaint, Lovely - First thing's first, this is a tiny hotel and there is no lift. So if you're staying on the third floor (like we were), it is a big hike if you have heavy luggage. The rooms are small as well, and you'll have a bit of trouble getting around your luggage, and making your way around the bathroom. Now that that's out of the way, we loved our stay here! The staff were all so friendly, our room was made up everyday. We had breakfast everyday (extra cost) and it set us up well for the day (croissant, baguette, caffe or te, orange juice, and a selection of jams). The free wifi worked well (ask for a code at the desk). The location is great. Only a 4 minute walk from Gare de Vincennes (RER A), and maybe 5 minute walk from Berault or Chateau de Vincennes (Metro 1), so if you're wanting to head to any of the sights you're spoiled for choice as far as transport goes. If you're arriving from Paris Nord (Gare de Nord), take either the RER B or RER D to Chatelet le halles, then from there, grab the RER A to Gare de Vincennes. Set your expectations right and you will love your stay.
• 542ethanz (10/5): Perfect - This hotel is very nice, it is conveniently located and is very quiet. You can access many important places like markets, and other places that could come in handy easily. Our stay was very pleasant and I would like to go there again sometime soon.
• 343RichardP (4/5): Could be good, but not yet! - Good location with parking and the bed was comfortable, but...room tired, bathroom tired with no usable shower or shower screen or curtain, with noise from adjoining room intrusive unless the TV was on! Breakfast was very marginal with orange juice... " un supplement " ..could not believe they would charge extra for a glass of orange juice, and they debited our credit card before check out. all in all a disappointing stay. could not recommend to discerning travellers.
