Also, we commend this facility for its cleanliness. Maybe a hot breakfast, but that wasn't a huge deal. The donuts provided were really good.

I have already booked for next year at the same time. For the money I spent I cannot think of anything I didn’t like. Even if I had spent more the place was perfect for what I was looking for.

The staff was very helpful and friendly from Adam when we checked in with dinner recommendations and a friendly welcome to everyone we encountered at the front desk in the morning. It was weekdays off season so not a lot open but they were also super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The view of the ocean from our room was amazing. The room was clean and very spacious. The location was perfect!

Everything was immaculate, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. I can’t believe what we got for the price ! Odd thing - the toilet / shower water supply system is very very loud . When someone is either flushing the toilet or showering in the room above you it is extremely loud - not an issue unless your upstairs neighbor was showering at 1:00 AM ( as ours was)

Right across the street from the beach and within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Having the Continental breakfast in the lobby area was a nice bonus, especially for the kids We came during a slow time in Cape May so there weren't many people around and we could still hear other guests in the property. The walls seem to be pretty thin because we could hear showers running and toilets flushing

This was our second time there and already have a third stay booked. Location is excellent and can leave car parked and walk to Washington street mall and restaurants in area. Always wish there was an elevator so we prefer to stay on second floor so we can see beach. Would make lugging belongings easier.

- Michael (3/5): Liked Cape May but hated how we were treated by Avondale By the Seas management. - View Staff was not accommodating. Due to pending coastal storm and possible flooding and the state of emergency declared by the NJ governor my wife and I decided, for safety sake, that we would leave on Saturday morning, 10/11/2025 to travel back to Pa. After explaining our concerns to management and asked for a refund for our Saturday night reservation. We were flatly denied!! This was just flat out wrong! Good and decent management would have understood our concerns! We’re senior citizens which only compounds our worries.
