The breakfasts were certainly a highlight. Freshly prepared and presented, I could tell how much care the hosts put into every course. Our room had everything we needed and the location of the home is a quick walking distance from downtown and the beach and boardwalk. Emilios tasty home made breakfast was just what we needed before going biking. Eggs, bacon, yoghurt, fruit and excellent coffee. Thank you for a lovely stay and we will be back. 😊

You will get a feeling how wealthy people in earlier days were living. Having breakfast in their living room is spectacular. Staying there is worth every dollar. Just go and enjoy.

They kindly accommodated our request to bring dinner in last night and set a lovely table in the dining room for that as well as for the delicious breakfast that was served this morning. The food was outstanding! This is a warm and elegant home. Our room was well appointed, the bed and bedding very comfortable and again every need anticipated and provided for. The property is well located on a quiet street within walking distance of the town square and all the dining and shopping on offer there. Many outdoor activities and points of cultural and historical interest are available nearby as well. Parking is available on the street at the B&B as well as at the town square. We felt very safe in this area. We had a wonderful stay here and would love to return again in the future. Thanks for everything Connie and Emilios. It was such a pleasure meeting you both!

- Karel (10/5): Excellent experience - Charming B&B The owners Emilios and Connie were very welcoming and helpful. We were greeted with a welcome drink which we enjoyed in their beautiful garden. Room was large and clean. Keurig coffee machine and kettle in the room. The complimentary breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL. Bed was a bit on the softer side.

- Stephen (10/5): - If you need a base to explore the east coast of Lake Huron the Colbourne B&B is ideal. The hosts are welcoming and the facilities are very good for the price. Town centre 6-7 min walk the beach about 20 min walk. Highly recommended.

- Gabriela (10/5): - The property owners were very nice and helpful, answering all our questions about the city (it was the first time for us to visit Goderich) and giving us all kind of information about the city and its history. The breakfast was amazing and very professionally presented. The weather has been warmer than usual and we got the chance to walk around the little town. The house is old but very well maintained and the upgrades are all modern. We will return to this place in the future.
- Anthony (10/5): - Don’t hesitate to book this Bed and Breakfast, the rooms are extremely clean as well as the entire property. Super friendly greeting upon arrival it’s a must stay if you’re in the Goderich area. Very easy walk to the downtown as well.

- Linda (10/5): A wonderful, relaxing stay with a delightful host and hostess! We hope to make a return visit in the not too distant fu - This older Victorian home was very well maintained and provided space for dining, access to a closed in sunroom at the front as well as the private backyard. Our room had a very comfortable king sized bed and two comfortable easy chairs, a fireplace and an updated ensuite bathroom with a very well appointed shower. The owners also provided a small frig, a coffee machine with coffee tea and cream stocked. The home was very well located and within a short 5 minute walk to the town centre where there were shops, a restaurant and coffee shop etc. It was not too far from the trail and boardwalk along the shores of Lake Huron. The breakfasts were excellent and beautifully prepared and presented with lots of variety, providing juice, fruit and yogurt, a hot entree, muffins/scones and tea or coffee. It was sufficiently satisfying that we did not feel the need for lunch! Particularly enjoyable and a pleasant surprise was a welcome drink on our arrival! Choice of tea, coffee, or wine/beer! Especially appreciated after a lengthy journey in the car!! There was nothing to dislike!

The operator launched the conversation about the early morning breakfast, something that was disappointing but I wouldn’t have mentioned. At booking, I was clear about my morning timing and expected a breakfast. The B&B was listed in my events WEB page as an option so I was surprised about the miscommunication about my early morning. The first morning breakfast was bad and the second morning better. Too much single serving packaging such as cream.

- Kim (10/5): - Lovely place! My room was spotless clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and I loved having the creamer in the fridge for the coffee I could make in my room. There was also a large carafe of water in the fridge which was also a nice touch. Connie gave me a great restaurant rec (Train station by the water) and I had an amazing dinner and watched the sunset. It was a perfect end to a long travel day. I slept well and Emilio’s made a delicious breakfast that exceeded anything I have ever gotten at a B and B. This is a lovely sweet home run by a couple who clearly care about their guests and strive to make everything perfect… and it was! Will stay here again when I travel thei Goderich. Loved it!
- Caroline (9/5): Beautiful B&B with friendly, helpful owners very close to town. - Very accessible location. Quiet street but very close to the main streets in town. Rooms and bathrooms - very nicely renovated. Spotlessly clean and lots of little extras in the room. Excellent shower - rain head and regular shower heads. Very nice 3 course breakfast . Very pleasant and helpful owners. The bed was very firm for my liking and the pillows were polyester. Maybe others would like the firm bed, but I didn’t sleep well. My preference is a more plush mattress.
