The place was not tidy. Everything. The place was a dump. Piles of garbage at the end of the parking lot. Rundown appearance. Dead gardens. No resemblance to pictures on line.

The room was clean and comfortable. Poor WIFI. Had to sit by the window to get any usable signal. By today's standards, not really acceptable anymore.

- markwF3945BU (10/5): Clean, Well Maintained & Friendly - For an inexpensive motel, I was surprised by how clean the room and the grounds are. The fellow in the office was friendly and helpful. There was almost no traffic on the road outside so it was very quiet.

The area was not at all what I was expecting (my fault for not investigating more). Chair cushion was stained, coffee maker dirty. I did not stay for breakfast - but was not made aware of times for this - and to be honest the âbreakfast areaâ was a shelf in the main check area which was also old, dingy, extremely cramped and dirty. Very disappointed considering the price - next time would drive slightly further and stays at any of the many other gorgeous towns with cheaper but nicer accommodation. Cannot recommend - in my three week touring round Ontario this was the worst accommodationâŚand considering I camped at a couple of provincial parks - thatâs saying something!

Dated furniture, Wifi didn't work well, shoes scattered in front of office door, cigarette buckets in front of almost every room, breakfast was the most troubling - no individual containers for butter, jam and peanut butter. They put open jars on the counter and "help yourself". Bananas were bruised. Butter did not look fresh with lot of knife marks from previous guests or family.
- 186margj (6/5): You get what you pay for! - Very basic motel, panelled walls painted, rustic furniture. One lounge chair was dirty and torn. Shoes scattered outside the office door. Breakfast - no individual containers for butter, jam, peanut butter - one jar of peanut butter and jam left out and butter was in a dish that looked like it has been worked away at for weeks.

- McSwain (2/5): Left early. Did not give the operators a chance to resolve. - Location was ok Hardest bed ever. TV didn't work, WIFI didn't work. Didn't feel secure (no additional locking mechanism inside the door). Parts of the room were not clean.
- Oneida (10/5): I would recommend. - The location is perfect. Within minutes you have Tim Hortons, gas station, convenience store, the beach and lots of restaurants to choose from. Any concerns we had, they were all addressed right away without any problems. The owner is very understanding and extremely catering. He was so patient with our unexpected late arrival. Workers are so polite. The price you canât complain. Itâs really a decent price youâre paying for all that you are getting. Parking is available in front your room door. They have a patio thatâs available to the guest along with being able to BBQ. Everything was in working order in our room. I would just suggest checking the water temperature for the shower. The water kept going hot to cold.

The breakfast looked so bad we didnât even try it, beds were uncomfortable and the room itself was dated and in dire need of refurbishing. Tv was hard to get working . Tub didnât have non slip so couldnât shower . All in all it was so overpriced for what there was $227 for 1 room with 3 adults and a dog .

After driving all day and the next day, and with the desk clerk reluctant to speak to the partiers, I would not stay there again.
