Guest Reviews
- Christine (6/5): - Trendy hotel with a nice Hill since it is sitting on half way hill. Close to the Plaza De Armas by walking down the shirt cut via the stairs down right to San Pedro. Along the walk you will come across a very value travel agent and nice restaurant too.
Staff service is excellent and there is a 24 hrs beverage . Will also prepare pack breakfast if you need to depart before breakfast time. Internet WiFi only good in the dining area.
Need to improve is the mattress time to change and the hot water flow not consistent.
Overall a good value hostel to stay in Cusco .
Marco is also very helpful too
- Mike (10/5): - For a hostel you cannot get better. My brother and I stayed in both a private room with private bath and a private room with shared bathroom. there rooms are nice and clean with plenty of blanks for winter time, all rooms come with a small space heater which most hostels don't provide. they also provide you with a towel and a small bar of soap and shampoo/conditioner.
all spaces are very clean and the view is great. a little far from the center of the main square, I didn't mind the walk as the small cobble stone roads were wonderful to walk.
they have a safe place to store your bags while doing day trips. even if you checked out that day.
I'd like to make a Shout Out to Marko, the man at the front desk. he was very helpful and just an overall nice and pleasant person.
- rachel (8/5): - This was our first hostal experience and we were very happy with how clean it was. Also the staff was very friendly! One downfall, we were not able to get very warm water when showering. We only stayed here one night while we were waiting for our plane to Lima. Overall, I would recommend this hostal for a cheap stay in Cusco!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We were recommended to stay at this hostel by a friend and we were pleasantly surprised by how lovely this hostel was. We had our own room and didn't have to share anything. Rooms were clean and spacious. The owner and staff were extremely helpful. There is a foosball table and a ping pong table available in the common area. It is a very inviting atmosphere. Only two tiny downsides that I could tell. One: Breakfast was included but we never had the chance to try it due to our tours leaving before 7:30 (when breakfast started). It would have been really nice if there was a packed breakfast option, instead of being told that they could provide the butter and jam, if we could find the bread so early in the morning. Two: electric heated water. Due to how this hot water system works, the water pressure was so low to have a hot shower. For me, I could not get that right balance of warm water with decent water pressure. It was just disappointing after a freezing day trekking to not be able to enjoy a hot shower. Other than those two things, this place was fantastic. The helpful staff and fantastic view of Cusco, as well as the spacious room that are super clean well over look the two very small downsides. I have already recommended this place to others who are trekking through Cusco and glad we took the recommendation someone gave us.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We were impressed on how nice it is for a hostel. The owner and staff are very helpful. The rooms are clean and there is a fantastic view of the city on their top level balcony. We really liked how someone was always eager to help and to make sure you were fully informed so you don't miss anything. Great place to stay while trekking through Cusco.
- Maxi (10/5): Hotel muy cercano al centro historico - Brindan mucha informacion y ofrecen bebidas calientes gratuitas las 24hs. lo que se agradece debido al frio y la altura.
- xin ling (2/5): Terrible hostel - TERRIBLE STAY with no hot water, cold rooms, and no private toilet as promised in the booking. The hotel also lost some of our items that we left with them (Just huge bottles of water, fortunately, but they were flippant about it though we kept it in their storage and told them we will be back for them and our luggage). Staff could not speak or understand English at all. I do not understand how they are still functioning, and do not recommend any English speaking tourists to stay here at all. Horrible staff, and horrible place.
- Andrew (10/5): Great Views of Cusco - Fantastic service from the moment we got in. Dan the manager is very helpful and informative. The rooms were very clean and the view from the lobby is superb. Breakfast is basic but they have a bar with a table tennis table too. So, it's a good spot to chill for the day as well.
- kali (8/5): Nice view, friendly staff - This hostel has a good location within walking distance to most stuff. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Showers are hot, but water pressure could be better. Rooms could be cleaner, but there was no issue with bugs.
- Joe (8/5): Great view - 24 hour coffee. Good desk personnel. Good value . Friendly.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Con excepción de la habitación que es muy pequeña y el problema del agua caliente, en realidad la estancia es buena, vale la pena para una estancia corta.
