- cristinalU9681KD (10/5): Comfortable stay, and even better customer service - I am frequently in Raleigh for business and leisure. Usually I am a Hyatt girlie, but lately I have been staying at a bunch of Hiltons for work. I've had a positive Hilton experience thus far, and therefore decided to try out the Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh/Crabtree Valley for my latest stay.
Check-in was seamless. Though I arrived early, my room was ready and accessible right away. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious.
The lobby area is well maintained, comfortable, and actually a bit more 'hip' than I expected. I really liked it.
Outside the gym, there is a filtered water dispenser which was lovely -- I was able to fill up my Stanley cup rather than buy water bottles elsewhere.
Location wise, you are perfectly located. Getting to the nearest main road (Glenwood) can be stressful due to traffic patterns, but you can always take the nearest/closest exit (440 E) and just make a uturn to get back to 440 W if that's where you need to go. Not a big deal and probably safer.
Parking was plentiful; there's also a dedicated parking area for diamond members which was greatly appreciated!
What sets this hotel apart is their customer service and hospitality. I had a really unfortunate experience during my last night with an insanely loud next door neighbor. They were up with their friends and crying babies until about 3:30 AM. Despite my calling the front desk, the guests simply did not stay quiet. It was terrible, terrible luck. I had a 7am flight to catch. A miserable morning indeed.
Upon checking out with the front desk and sharing my room number, they immediately and proactively apologized for my challenges. They explained they had tried to contact those guests -- and they did; I actually heard the phone ring in the other room around 2am, but the guests ignored it. The front desk agents were so kind, apologetic, and went above and beyond to make it right.
Even though I was so tired navigating the RDU airport following that terrible night, I still walked with a pep in my step because I was just so thankful to this hotel for making me feel seen, heard, and valued.
They have a guest in me for life; I will always stay at this Hilton when I am in Raleigh, and would highly encourage any guest to trust this hotel with their stay. They really prioritize providing excellent hospitality, and it is clear they felt bad for my experience dealing with noisy neighbots. Even though it was not their fault!
Thank you Hilton Garden Inn -- appreciate your hospitality and I will certainly be back. AND if you are staying here, please practice good guest etiquette!

- Tracy (9/5): Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back! - I had another great stay at this property!
The hotel was incredibly clean, and the staff—from the front desk to the housekeeping team—were all very nice and helpful. Check-in and check-out were both fast and easy. The only suggestion for improvement would be to update the mattresses, as the beds could have been more comfortable.
- Ryan (7/5): -
- Jamie (1/5): -
- Natalia (1/5): There was a bug in my bed - Nothing because there was a bug in my bed There was a bug inside of my bed in the sheets
- Lyzette (8/5): - Location and cleanliness $20 a person for breakfast?!?!!
Should be posted clearly upon arrival to breakfast area.
- Marco (10/5): -
- Andrea (10/5): -
- Regina (9/5): It was great - Hmmm. Not impressed with breakfast. No difference with the other lower rated hotels No veggies nor fruits
- Eric (7/5): Good stay - Nice place, good location, and clean. Pretty expensive for a place that did not have a complimentary breakfast, and the bed wasn’t the softest.
- William (5/5): Probably better options for 2 people coming from a long distance - Most everything rings of cheap and several items (breakfast) were lacking in common goods.
- Tennille (9/5): -
- Carolyn (9/5): I had a great short stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Room was very clean and comfortable. The beds were so soft and comfortable. The artistry and decorations were very vibrant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking was absolutely an issue unless we did not know all the parking areas for the hotel. We had a difficult time finding a park when we returned to the hotel on Saturday night. Is parking being extended or was I not aware of overflow parking?
- Yneka (10/5): I definitely enjoyed my stay. The room even had a frig and microwave. - Everything was clean, location was great, and amenities met my needs. The beds need a little upgrading
- Krystal (10/5): -
- Jo (10/5): I'll stay there again if I should go to Raleigh. - The reception desk staff was exceptional, both in the evening and during the day. I was totally surprised by the excellent quality of the food, as well. There was a large convention there that weekend, so toward the end of the breakfast hour, they were a little short on the "grab n go" food, but the wait staff was both helpful and polite, and on all three of the evenings I stayed there, I also ordered dinner from the kitchen, and it was very good. Maybe more anticipation of the breads in the serve-yourself breakfast time during conventions.
- Shayna (10/5): -
- Eddie Chavo (5/5): I deal with mainly Hilton Hotels so I will be back. I hope my day is better when I do. - The breakfast was great The loud noise the bathroom sink made. Also, the toilet was very slow.
- dewayne (10/5): -
- Domonik (10/5): Breakfast was really good. Staff were really nice. Very clean. Don’t mind staying there again. - Very clean, very nice staff. N/A
- Jake (10/5): - Only thing was we stayed during a convention or banquet hard to find parking
But otherwise great
- Melissa (8/5): -
- Charles (5/5): - Pretty close to everything staff was nice. The tables and the restaurant area or not clean my summer them the breakfast buffet was way too high in my opinion normally places sell breakfast for free the entire facility smelled like weed and stunk so bad it was a different price when we showed up then what I had on booking.com all in all wasn't a real bad experience it just was not the cleanest and it just smelled like weed and it was it's not the best place that we like to stay
- Diana (10/5): Very Nice - Well maintained, stylish, comfortable stay High price for the breakfast buffet at 19.95 but I pre purchased vouchers with my room at a lower price:)
- Tanydalaya (10/5): See above - I like that the facility is very clean. The staff is very friendly. The location is perfect. This is my second time staying, and I would definitely recommend it. Thank you! N/A
- Kimberly (10/5): Great stay...will return. - The front desk associate was incredibly helpful. She even noticed that I had on a visitor sticker from the hospital and expressed hope that all was well. It was for the delivery of my first grandchild so it was a great way to connect. She was genuinely concerned and shared that she hoped we could get the best night sleep ever after a long day at the hospital.
- Yolanda (6/5): Disappointed in the lack of parking - Property was well kept and maintained The property’s location is a major concern because it is next door to another major hotel and the parking lot for both properties is not conducive to large crowds and events. When we arrived around 6pm we along with other guests circled both properties parking lots in search for any parking space it took us over 30 minutes to find a park and that completely ruined our evening. We finally ended parking in the parking lot of the hotel we were not staying in and had to walk a distance to get to the Hilton and there is an odd incline leading up to the property and when you have luggage and other items it is a challenge. When we arrived inside we shared with the receptionist that parking was awful and she said that we could have parked in the parking lot of the other hotel and I told her that’s what we did but that it took us forever to find a park. We learned there was a wedding reception at the hotel and the wedding party must have been large because there were no parks for other hotel guests.

- Benjamin (10/5): Hospitable staff, convenient location, great value. - Very kind staff, great location accessible quickly to most areas in Raleigh, really reasonable price for the quality and cleanliness of the room. Parking was well lit and felt safe. Nothing.

- Khristin (10/5): We had a great stay staff was great and the hotel was very clean and fancy - Very nice hotel Clean rooms nice bar

- Octavia (10/5): Best Hotel Stay This Year - This hotel was Amazing. Beautiful Even. Close to Crab Tree Mall and The Cheesecake Factory. I truly enjoyed my stay. The beds could be a little softer, other than that, my room was clean and the bathroom was clean as well. Very nice size.
- Anjela (9/5): -
- ubikwitus6 (10/5): You gotta have the grits!! - Totally enjoyed my stay. I was in town for a wedding. I needed an early check in, everyone was very accommodating to facilitate us getting checked in before the wedding. They go above and beyond to ensure that you are well taken care of. Everyone is very friendly such a comfortable vibe. The room was perfect and the food was great —you gotta have the GRITS! Definitely will stay again when I’m in Raleigh.
- Lindsay (10/5): - Beautiful hotel, great service and very clean
- Charles (9/5): -
- Tony (8/5): - The staff was extraordinary and fed us right before they were closing. we just checked in and was starving. The food was phenomenal for a hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable I slept good The parking is limited and very tight, the shower floor needed redone
- Mike (10/5): -
- jennifer (10/5): - Updated
- Precious McGraw (9/5): Nice Hotel…great staff - Hotel is nice and in a good location. Parking was good and staff was nice.
- Liad (8/5): -
- Kristen (10/5): - Everything is good
- Lacey (10/5): - Everything was great except for finding the hotel. More signs on main roads would help tremendously
- Nikisha (10/5): My stay was excellent. - Did have breakfast but did have dinner. And the food was great. Nothing
- Keandra (8/5): - Very nice stay and ambiance. Just couldn’t figure out the tv and how to work it but I would definitely recommend and come back !
- Robert (10/5): Best hotel I have stayed at - Very nice and neat Nothing was wrong
- Charles (10/5): - The pool water feature (looks like an umbella) was not working. I should have called first before I booked, b/c the Hampton Inn next door also had the same feature and it was working.
- Jason (10/5): - Our room was clean and the place was great, but the best part was the staff! Loran was unbelievable in helping us get a new room to replace one that was seriously screwed up by a third-party booker. Could not be happier with her!!
- Dawn (8/5): - Staff are excellent. Condition of the bathroom was not great.
- Jade (10/5): -
- Ronald (10/5): - Great staff
- Nikisha (10/5): Very nice and pleasant staff. Very Clean. - Very good Nothing
- Ebony (10/5): -
- Samantha (10/5): -
- Dr. Sarah Enzaldo (6/5): Expected more from a Hilton property. - Eh. I booked based on reviews and location of a venue. It was rated 9.4 i think, when i booked. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the short weekend stay.
Breakfast buffet was not amazing. Eggs were COMPLETELY TASTELESS uncracked eggs. Myself and kids would not eat. Staff was friendly at offering "cracked eggs." A la carte of course. Super weak coffee. I'd give the buffet a 3/5 stars. I refused to return the next morning, and spent the same amount of money on an amazing breakfast off site.
We were down an 1 out of 2 elevators during our stay. It happens, understandable. Well, our 1 elevator got stuck while we waited from the top floor. We had to take the stairs from the 7th floor, and notified the front desk who weren't aware. Staff hopped on the phone right away and notified us when it was up and running. Maybe 45 min wait.
As you consistently travel from the elevators to and from your room, you become aware of an odor of sewage or sulfur. You even become aware of the smell in your room. I kept realizing that the air smelled like a lingering post BM. It was unpleasant.
Beds were comfortable and supportive. The shade of our window came off track, and I had to MacGyver the curtains to block light pollution from entering the room. Our toilet smelled. Shower pressure felt amazing. Staff were urgent at filling requests for towels. Parking was easy and lot was well lit. Felt relatively safe, close on and off interstate.

- India (10/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): - I booked this hotel based on a friends recommendation and had an overall good experience. The building and the rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly. The only thing I could complain about is that the charging port between the beds did't work and that there should be more ports to charge inbetween the beds. I didn't get their names but the two ladies working the night shift on thursday the 28th were extremely nice to us
- Tarasha (10/5): - Very nice hotel. Great atmosphere and staff.
