Guest Reviews
- Warren (10/5): - Breakfast was just right.
- susanne (8/5): - Clean and a good size.
- Michael (10/5): - This is an older type motel. But it is obvious the owners care for the property and present it very well. Our room was very clean and tidy. Everything we required was there and in good order. We were able to park our car directly in front of our room. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were unexpectedly offered a basic breakfast, which was perfect for getting us on our way and saved us stopping somewhere down the road. For the price, this represents excellent value. Definitely recommended.
- Ferdinand (10/5): - Friendly welcoming staff
- rene (10/5): - Very clean room, nice fercility, friendly staff,
- Jody (10/5): - I would recommend this motel to anyone that needed to stay in peckhill .
- Duncan (10/5): - Appreciated the stay
- Lyndon (10/5): - The experience was amazing. With excellent room service and free breakfast, I was astonished but that's not all. It had multiple TVs and perfectly working equipment. The hotel also had incredibly clean walls and towels. Overall outstanding performance 10/10 would reccomend.
- Brian (6/5): - The place is right on the Newell. Very noisy at night with trucks passing by. It's also not very soundproof between units. Clean and tidy just old and tired.
- Leonie (8/5): A pleasant stay - Situated on the Parkes side of Peak Hill, everything is still walkable. Our hostess was lovely, and provided us with a much-appreciated free basic breakfast of toast, condiments and cereal.
- salim (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Garry (8/5): - Felix was very welcoming, Continental breakfast included was a nice surprise.
- Steve (10/5): Pleasantly surprised - We were just after a relatively cheap bed for the night to break up our long driving trip and were pleasantly surprised with this motel. We were upgraded to a larger room and supplied with a pre-prepared continental breakfast which was totally unexpected. A little noisy because it is on a major transport route (all motels in this area would be in same situation). The room itself was perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable.
- Terry (10/5): - welcoming reception, clean and comfortable, breakfast box delivered to room at night to allow for early departure. Would certainly return.
- Alasdair (10/5): - Easy walk for food.
- Stephen (6/5): - Bathroom basin to tiny, toilet paper dispensor, crap untensils, no cooking facilities in room.
- Chloe (10/5): - Staff were so friendly and lovely! Room was clean and well kept and they provided a great breakfast.
- Scott (10/5): - Great place to stay.
- ANDREW (10/5): Wonderful Weekend stay. Highly recommend. - Felix and his wife looked after us from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. The pool was lovely to cool down in.
We will be back again. Thank you Felix.
- lidija (10/5): - Beautiful property and a very helpful staff. Excellent communication.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable stay - Nice 2 night stay, for the Elvis Festival in Parkes . Clean and comfy, good air con, it was hot weather but the air con kept us cool in the room. Complimentary brekkie, bread, cereal, milk, spreads, toaster in the room. We did appreciate it. RSL club nearby for good meal, and had delicious pizza at the pub .
Its not fancy, but suitable for our stay.
A big thankyou to Felix and Stephanie for making us feel very welcome. 😊
- Deepak (10/5): - Best host ever.
- Shirley (10/5): - Very accommodating owner.
- Derek (10/5): - excellent rooms, BBQ area, Swimming Pool.
Cleanliness. Such a fantastic place to stay.
Very friendly Reception people✅
- Tom (6/5): - I don’t know how they are rated so high we received no office service had to call another motel to be told the key was under the mat the room was old and in desperate need of renovation outside on the road was a pothole that every truck hit during the night making sleep non existent
- Paul (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Great to cool off in the lovely pool on a hot afternoon.
- Joanne (6/5): - The property was cute and the owner was lovely. I was a little disappointed in the room. I felt for the price it could have been better. The shower had one sliding door missing which made it very cold in the shower. The main light in the room didn’t work so we had to keep opening the curtains to see properly which was annoying when you were get dressed. The bedroom window didn’t lock so I didn’t feel our property was secure while we were out.
Overall it was a pleasant enough stay
- Rebecca (10/5): - This property is located in a very small town but is a great find. Beautiful spacious rooms that are clean and comfortable. Grounds are lovely, pool is beautiful resort style and the staff are lovely. Fantastic bbq area.
- Corine (10/5): - Very well looked after, nice gardens and a clean room.
Also brekky is included!
- Hamish (10/5): - Great stay highly recommend
- Ursula (10/5): - Great value, super clean, complimentary breakfast, everything was wonderful
- Damien (10/5): - Great location and service.
- Clare (10/5): - Lovely quiet clean property with comfortable beds and tea and coffee making also continental breakfast
- Jared (10/5): - Really friendly and accommodating staff. Fantastic service really looked after us, made sure we had breakfast ready for us etc. we’re happy to let us park our trailer there while we drove out for the day.
- Monika (10/5): - Beautiful gardens. Kids enjoyed the pool. Friendly helpful staff. Thankyou!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was pleasant and friendly
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The beautiful orange tree’s and the receptionist was so helpful and easy to get along with, and was very accommodating, thank you it was an enjoyable stay…
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No communication, no one there to check me in though checkin time is until 11.30.
Slept in my car that night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wow the beds are so comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Only disappointment was the shower- it was like standing under pelting needles but overall a good night
- John (8/5): Good little motel - Recent new owners very welcoming. Standard motel room but clean and comfortable. Can do with some upgrading but sure that will happen. Great to have camp kitchen and little swimming pool and just 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. A little exy for what it is but would stay again
- Verified traveler (8/5): - room was wonderful and spacious. Needed a bit of air-freshner in room, and the sliding door between rooms was too hard to close so we had to leave open, but was a lovely motel to stay in, and nice and quiet away from busy suburbs. Would use again as it was a warm and welcoming place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent for a night stay but extremely noisy disruptive people next door which I suppose is bad luck . Noisy til midnight kids yelling etc then outside our room at 6.30 am yelling and arguing !!!
- Lydia (8/5): Dated but clean and bed was comfortable - Owner was helpful. Small dated room, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable. Room had a fridge and microwave. We saw kids enjoying the pool. There was some gym equipment outside under cover. Parking in front of the room. We had dinner at the RSL.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was the new manager’s first day, and I presented him with problems he didn’t need: wifi not working, nor the TV. He went out of his way to solve these issues which he’d inherited. Everything was fine, especially the large bathroom with a very handy shelf in the shower. A lot of places just have a soap holder which isn’t very helpful.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Old and really needs updating. No water in room and the kettle did not fit under the tap. Travelling with small dog who sleeps in a cage and would have preferred to have one of the newer rooms.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Could not ask for more. Staff were fanatic and friendly.
- Jashel (6/5): Pet friendly - Clean and spacious room. Make sure you bring own food though as Peak Hill has very little in way of provisions at IGA.
- Paktrick (10/5): - good
- Jen (8/5): - Staff were very friendly. Dinner and breakfast were great.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Pet friendly motel - Nice unit with great bbq area and pool. Very pet friendly.
- Jennifer (10/5): Excellent - Just outside of Dubbo (south). We prefer to stay in smaller towns and support the locals. This budget hotel was the best we had stayed in in NSW (we travelled 3 500 kms). Excellent all round. Pool. Wifi. Microwave. toaster, Fridge. Flat screen TV. Air Con. Great bed, linen and towels. We ate in town at the hotel and met some very friendly locals.
- Skazwa (10/5): Great place to rest up on a long trip - We had our dogs with us and the motel was very accommodating, it’s hard to find a place to stay with the whole family including the fur kids.
- Darren (10/5): Good Clean Stopover - Have stayed here a couple of times now on my way heading south. Owners are friendly and rooms are very clean. Will be staying again soon.
- Kassa60 (8/5): Central to main street and getting around - We were there for a family reunion however when other family members went on line to book (not directly through the motel) they were advised it was booked out and in actual fact it wasn't which was disappointing as other family members could have stayed here.
The staff were very friendly and hospitable.
- Barry (10/5): Very pleasant - Comfortable and pleasant nice place to stay awhile
- Chris (10/5): - Facilities: Nice ; Value: Economical; Service: Go the extra mile; Cleanliness: Spotless;
- kym (10/5): -
- Robyn (10/5): - Facilities: Home away from home; Value: Affordable; Service: Professional, Respectful, Courteous; Cleanliness: Spotless;
New managers very recent, still upgrading from what must have been a little run down
