Host was accomodating
Kitchen well equipped The accomodation is a little dated. But parallel with price.
TV is old.
It is nestled as one of 16 apartments in a residential community.
The back deck needs attention so we didn’t spend any time out there.
House needs “airing”.
- Pam (6/5): Pleasant - Location was good Very run down. Not even a bit of milk in the fridge. Holes in fly screens, only one bed made up, no extra bedding, in need of some care and attention

- Anthony (6/5): Could be a great rental with more care and attention to the above - Great location for our needs. Unit appeared unloved and uncared for. Was not particularly clean. Bathroom basin has drainage problem and toilet flushing problem.
- Marco (7/5): A place to visit again. - Location. Short walking distance from main shops. Spacious apartment with off street parking. Comfy beds. Communication with host. Showing signs of age and wear. Able to connect to local network but no internet available. Poor TV reception. Lampshade with bad electrical fault left in property.

- Amelia (3/5): Lovely (but very dated) house, terrible management. - I liked the house itself I searched for two bedrooms and booked this for its two bedrooms and upon arrival there were no sheets provided for the second bedroom nor were the beds made up. I text to ask about sheets (happy to make the bed myself) and was told Very rudely that since I was one person I was only allowed the use of one bed and if I wanted sheets for a second bed they would come and take away the sheets for the main bedroom. This is Not in this properties policies at time of booking, and it is airbnb behaviour not booking.com behaviour. I booked a house and should have full use of the whole house.
Also some lamps weren’t working, the tv remote batteries were dead, the lockbox for the door key is a bit broken and nearly impossible to open, the house is somewhat clean but absolutely also not the cleanest, the outdoor table was filthy, the blind in the 2nd bedroom is broken and doesn’t roll up blocking all natural light.
But mostly those texts with the owner/manager really soured my experience and were completely unnecessary, unprofessional and their tone was incredibly rude.
I would have otherwise enjoyed my stay.

Closest being a 7/11 just around the corner. Facilities we needed were perfect. Old school place but tidy… Wasn’t an issue but TV remote wasn’t working. Everything else was fine.
- Glenis (6/5): Adequate for our 6 nights with little time spent in the property. - Great location, only a few minutes' walk to shops and train. Very quiet location. Spacious living area. Strong hot shower. Big clean fridge. Good laundry facilities but no pegs for washing line. Best price available on a busy weekend in Melbourne. Furnishings were very tired, carpet old and grubby looking, curtains too long and poorly hung. Some lights didn't work. Double bedroom window didn't open, fly screen broken. Single beds weren't made up, only a mattress cover on one. Crockery old and chipped. Couldn't access wi-fi.

- Rhys (7/5): Great quiet spot, easy access to Melb / Hawthorn. Unit is old and well worn, but reasonable priced. - Location is excellent. spot is very quiet and layout of property is good and very reasonably priced. Missing a few basic things to make the stay more enjoyable. For example, a basic BBQ, wall Clock, Locking screen door, working exhaust fan, some more basic utensils etc would be helpful, when staying a few days. Unit is very well worn (carpets /paint / beds etc) and and floors not cleaned well.
- Roscoe (7/5): Good - Only two dinner plates and limited other crockery and glasses. No salt pepper etc although there was cooking oil and detergents. Owner paid for batteries for the remotes and trash bags and so fixed things promptly.

Small shops. When I noticed the property has unfinished work in the bathroom ( with a ladder was still in the bathroom for the person to install the exhaust ceiling fan.
And then having the ladder left lying on the floor in the living room after the ceiling fan was installed. Bathroom floor left messy that I have to message to let the property manager know about it. Then waiting for her to come to open the door for her.
- Jo-anne (1/5): Mouldy, dusty, run down, health risk and dirty. Looks nothing like pictures. - SCAMMERS!! The unit doesn’t look like the photos. (Photos must be extremely old) the property is extremely dirty and poses possible health risks. Shower has large amounts of black mould, had to go buy exit mould to clean the shower. Shower door is broken & nearly feel out and smashed. Shower frame has blood on it. Toilet has wee stains and dirt running down the front/outside of the bowl. Sky light in toilet is covered mould/dirt & broken. Exhaust fan cover is smashed/broken and full of dust &makes loud grinding noise when bathroom light is on. Bathroom light has a thick coating of dust. Backyard is littered with leaves, it hasn’t been raked/swept in a quiet a while. We found 2 drug implements (bongs) in the back yard. The clothes line is broken. Mould/moss covering the patio roof. Big burn hole in the decking. Oven is filthy. The kettle is dirty inside and out. Kitchen window frame ledge has oil and food on it. The range hood above oven doesn’t work and is greasy. The sink plug is mouldy. There are food particles in all the kitchen drawers. Every light switch, power board and power points, cupboards are dirty. The lounge room fan can’t be turned on unless you want to be coated in thick dust. Smashed window in the dining room. There is numerous amounts of dust/hair/dirt on every skirting board. The front entry light flickers when turned on. The outside lights don’t work. The front security light doesn’t work either. Cupboards & drawers don’t have handles. The bed in the main room is broken & the chandelier light is broken and has cobwebs & dust coated & 1 out of three of the bulbs work. Under the bed is rubbish & again very dusty. The light is hallway has no cover. Cover on the couch has a big yellow stain (needed washing). Carpets in all rooms are stained, bulging in areas (trip hazards). Windows sills are dusty and dead bugs. lounge curtains in the lounge to see massive stains & mould. Booking.

- Peter (6/5): It was a nice stay in a great location. could have been made better if all facilities were available to us - The location is amazing and was perfect for what me and my partner were after The wifi didn’t work the whole time we were there. The TV was also broken so we weren’t able to use those facilities. The place generally just needs a little TLC. a few curtains wouldn’t open as well as windows.
