Kevin (10/5): Outstanding Hotel in every way! - This property/Hotel is off the beaten path of Engelberg but that gives it a peaceful experience all the while, very easy to get to both the Ski Lift and Center of town both via free bus service with regular interval schedule. The breakfasts were excellent only exceeded by the warm and friendly hostess there each morning. As soon as I walked into the dining area the hostess offered me a Cappocino or similar immediately. Beautiful view of the Mountains while enjoying the breakfast selections. I found the decor of the Hotel very unique and well designed and detailed with a very mountainous yet upscale feel with very unique Swiss details. My room was spacious clean and very comfortable. The SPA is world class and luxurious. The Hotel owned restaurant across the street was delicious and the hostess very friendly and accommodating. I would go back to this Hotel in a heartbeat and in fact will go back in the future! Nothing comes to mind!

Greta (10/5): Great place! - Everything. It’s a very nice place in a beautiful location. The hotel itself is lovely, the room was a great size, and the spa was really nice. We also loved the kids’ playroom — such a great touch for families with little ones. Overall, it offers excellent value for families and we felt very comfortable during our stay. Honestly, everything was great. We were aware that the hotel is a bit further from the centre, but the only small downside was walking back in the evening — the GPS directs you along the main road, which isn’t very pleasant when dark. During the day it’s absolutely fine, and this was just a very minor point. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Zimmer wurden gründlich gereinigt. Schöner SPA-Bereich. Wir haben uns schnell wohl gefühlt. Ob alleine, als Familie oder Paare, dieses Hotel ist absolut empfehlenswert. Die Kissen waren uns zu weich (kleine Füllmenge). Ansonsten alles perfekt!

The spa and pool area is larger than average, very clean, and open for long hours. This was very important to us after a workout day in the mountains. Great additional lounges for relaxing with friends. Great play room if you are traveling with small children. Breakfast was fresh but quite basic and a bit boring. The ski equipment changing room lacks seating benches. The restaurant across the street kept us waiting over an hour for our order - they explained the reason, but that long a wait is unacceptable.

I will definitely return to this hotel I would recommend to send an automated message to their guests one day before the check-in informing how to get to the hotel. As it took us around 1 hour to find a way…
Sofia (10/5): Sehr empfehlenswert! - Wir haben das Hotel zum zweiten Mal besucht und waren wieder sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel ist sehr gemütlich, sauber und das Personal an der Rezeption äußerst freundlich. Das Frühstück war lecker und liebevoll zubereitet, auch die Dame dort war sehr höflich. Das Restaurant gegenüber bietet sehr gutes Essen und der Kellner war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Spielzimmer für Kinder ist schön. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt: Manche Eltern räumen nicht auf, sodass man es manchmal selbst in Ordnung bringen muss. Das betrifft natürlich nicht das Personal – eventuell würde ein Hinweisschild helfen. Wir haben unsere Skijacken vergessen und das Hotel hat uns kontaktiert und angeboten, diese auf unsere Kosten zurückzuschicken. Auch telefonisch waren alle sehr freundlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Vielen Dank für alles!

Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Reichhaltiges Frühstück Buffet Kostenloser Shuttleservice da Öv nicht gefahren ist (Nebensaison). Es ist schade dass in der Nebensaison keine Anbindung an die öffentliche Verkehrsmittel besteht.

All in all a relaxing, enjoyable stay. There was no shuttle service between the train station and the resort when we visited. I suggest guests staying in the off-season double check whether the shuttle service will be running during their stay.

It can be conveniently reached by bus, although walking is also a possibility, especially because there is an alternative walk. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The room is very standard, you don't feel you are in a mountain hotel. Breakfast is extremely basic, with a poor choice of croissant and pastry (if any).

Only wish the bistro was open when we were there! We love pizza and pasta and didn’t have an option to eat there. We ended up eating at the restaurant one night, then walking into town the following night (~25 min walk) We also would have loved a kettle in the room, however we found one in the lounge on level 1.

The location is a bit off from the center and therefore very quiet and perfect for morning walks. There was a bus stop at the location, so it was easy to get to the lifts if one didn't want to walk.
