• Geraghty (10/5): A Fusion of vibrancy and tranquility. The breakfast was such good quality and well thought out. - It was full of character but not worn out, full of modern comforts but not sterile. We thought we were the only ones there. Whatever way the rooms are laid out, there is great privacy. It feels like being in your own apartment, but then you meet the other guests at breakfast. Would we stay there again? We're only home and we're looking at dates again! Nothing, everything was perfect.

• paul (10/5): - Eldons is a lovely central location in Roundstone . Roundstone is such a lovely location in Galway surrounded by beautiful scenery and fabulous beaches, coastlines, and mountains .. Staff are warm and friendly. As a return visitor and choosing to make eldons part of our honeymoon says a lot about the Eldons, the staff and location. We will be back .

• Mark (10/5): A wonderful stay in a beautiful location. We will be back! - Perfect location. Jemma and Joe were brilliant hosts, providing us with superb suggestions for local walks and beaches. The village has great food and bars with a terrific atmosphere. The room was so comfortable and clean. Breakfast was simply delicious.

Nobody came to clean the room during our 3 nights stay. For the price I would have expected bed made every day, clean towels and trash empty. Also the breakfast could better. Not a lot of option and everyday the same thing

Home made bread , Rhubarb compote, yogurt and a good selection of cereals . A cooked breakfast was also available . Everything was great !
• Andrew (7/5): Good - Nice clean hotel in the heart of the village. Rooms have been nicely refurbished since the last time I stayed there. As the hotel was staffless, I had no interaction with any staff member for the entirety of my stay. Bathrooms in room were tiny, and the shower was impossible to fit into. The duvet on the bed was way too heavy for the summertime, especially when there was no fan or air-conditioning in the room.

Eldons is a fabulous bed and breakfast in the heart of Roundstone close to some lovely pubs and restaurants as well a close of some of the most beautiful beaches . The room was spotless and so comfortable. The staff were excellent staff, making us feel right at home , breakfast was fantastic. Thank you Eldons. -

Dinner restaurants were limited. The seafood restaurant was not good. The one across the street closed unexpectedly and the last stopped serving food at 7PM.

We naively thought we’d be able to sort out a taxi on the day to a wedding nearby, but Jemma swiftly sorted us out a lift and was so nice about the whole thing! The breakfast was excellent, with delicious options for all tastes in a nice relaxed atmosphere. Bed was huge and very comfortable!

Added to this, the level of comfort and cleanliness is 5 star. Our room was impeccable, with great quality toiletries. The biscuits supplied are scrumptious. Check in and out was seamless, Jemma sent us all we needed to know plus extra info on the local area. Breakfast is a little feast and sets you up for the day. Staff kind and helpful, thank you to our server at breakfast , (sorry name escapes me) who provided knowledgeable advice on the locality and was so pleasant every morning. It was a joy to stay at Eldons. Nothing. Weather was unkind but the accommodation made up for it.

• Tom (10/5): A must place to stay in Roundstone - We had a fantastic stay in Eldons this week. Jemma and Joe are excellent hosts. Incredibly welcoming and full of great tips for visiting Roundstone. The rooms are nicely upgraded and breakfast is great. We stayed in a garden view room which was spacious and really quiet. Super place to stay. Highly recommend.

• Sheena (10/5): See comments above - We know the location well from previous visits to Roundstone, a lovely seaside village on the west coast of Ireland. The bedroom was very comfortable with a French window opening onto the garden. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. The king size bed was very comfortable, there was piping hot water at all times and the shower was very good. The only slight quibble was that there was no hairdryer. I am sure it would have been provided had I asked the proprietor. The breakfast was delicious with a selection of fresh fruit salad, cereals, yogurt, fruit juice, cheese and ham etc. There was also hot food, cooked to order. The proprietors provided a personal service at breakfast time and made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eldon’s bed and breakfast and look forward to returning there. N/A apart from the hairdryer.
• Bettina (10/5): Top class stay, not to be missed! - This is a lovely place to stay. Smallish but perfect twin room. Very comfy beds. Top class breakfast with real fresh orange juice, proper baked ham, lovely cooked bacon and eggs. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It's in a perfect location in the centre of Roundstone. And we had no problem getting parking nearby. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The King Suite was very comfortable with great views of the village and harbour. I couldn't get the TV to work...probably a good thing though!
