Guest Reviews
- Les and Carrie (10/5): - We rented a cabin. They have full kitchens and are very cozy.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The location was beautiful. Most of the staff was friendly but unwilling to help. One staff member was rude not just once but, over several interaction s.
- Tim (10/5): Accommodating and timely - We had a bit of a time getting to WA due to weather, and had to change our plans last minute. The staff was very accommodating in helping us reschedule the booking. Although a few times it was difficult to reach the staff immediately, we were able to touch base and communicate within a day or so. Very excited for our return!!
- Glenda (10/5): - The campground is very nice and and secluded. Even though they were full it was still really quiet which was nice. The TT cabin was cozy, the kitchen was fully stocked with paper products, trash bags, linens and dish soap. Pleasantly surprised even though we packed our own. Glad we brought our own steak knives, haha! There's plenty of hot water which is great!
- Petter (8/5): - Nice pool area and playground. You will need to drive to do other activities as they are not close to the camp ground.
- Michael (8/5): Family fun - ThE Thunderbird Rv and camping resort was a great time lots to do at the site ,with swimming and mini golf. The cabin we rented was cozy and nice. The family members that came to visit us were very impressed and will be making there own arrangements to stay.
- Julie (8/5): Cute cabin - We stayed in one of the older cabins; it was cute and clean! Plenty of space for a small family to relax. My trip was such that we only really slept in the cabin and did not explore the grounds. It looked to have fun play areas, bbq areas, etc. People we met were nice. The pull out sofa bed was not the most comfortable but the lower bunk was fine. Bring linens or rent a linen package for $12.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Loved the peacefulness. The Cabin was great! Stayed for two days. Loved the surrounding views
- Elizabeth (4/5): So-So Place to stay - Rude individual at front entrance. We had a cabin unit. Heater in unit was defective. It blew air constantly, but never warmed the place. Shower door wouldn't stay latched and DVD player didn't work. Pool & hot tub areas were closed as well as the mini golf course. Was ok for this trip, but won't stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Quiet cozy cottage - Comfortable camp style cottage. Fun. Hot tub. Pools. Large BBQ area. Playground. Great summer vacation spot
- Verified traveler (6/5): Family from Australia travekling - Beautiful area out in the nature. No wifi while we were there but I guess the point of heading out in to the nature is that we shouldn't need it !! The pools are great and it's a good stop for kids. The cabins are clean and good as far as cabin accomodation goes. The staff are friendly and helpful.
- Michael (6/5): WARNING: Cabins don't have bedding or towels - WARNING! The cabins do not come with bedding or towels. This isn't mentioned anywhere on the Hotels.com listing. Also, you can't check in after 10pm. We got there at 9:58pm and were initially told we would have to come back in the morning, but luckily after a brief discussion the guy was nice enough to let us in. I don't really blame Thunderbird for this, I blame Hotels.com for not making this information clear. We checked in and then I had to drive to Walmart and buy blankets, sheets and towels. My kids were up until midnight before we sorted that out.
All that said, the resort was nice (by campground standards) and my kids like the playground and the bunk beds. I'd stay there again, but I would know to get there early and bring my own bedding and towels.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Stayed in a cabin instead of a hotel room - We stayed in a cabin with our grandchildren. (Ages 5 & 3) the resort was clean, the cabin was well equipped and there were 3 pools, mini golf and any other activities available for the children. The staff were courteous and helpful. A great alternative to staying in a hotel room.
