Guest Reviews
- Vanessa (6/5): - We have been going to Scotrun for Many years. Even though they have increased prices to stay on the grounds, the grounds need some attention. The pool was dirty, several broken tiles in the pool, broken basketball hoops. We were disappointed. Another con: extreme late check in, and early checkout. Makes it difficult when traveling with children.
- SHIN (10/5): - It was clean and quiet, so it was better than I expected
- Daneli (10/5): - The attention was magnificent. They are aware of all the details and needs. The only detail was the hot water that at night there was only for two people. Then it was over.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I like it a little bit we got there at 1.pm we had to wait until 3.40 pm to check in outside the area. In additionto that, the floor was dusty and behind the couch was dirty. I did not like the check out because if they let us go in at 3.30pm, why we have to be out by 11am.
- Jason (8/5): Decent Location and Things to do - Cabin was decent, lot of free things to do and pools. We did canoe. Off 611 with a lot of things in area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Amazing family place for few days get away .
- Verified traveler (10/5): - is a real nice place and environment, cleaning is okay but not the best, they need to pay more attention to the bathroom, the floors and the covers of the beds, especially in these they should wash them every time someone new arrives.
- Prisma (10/5): - The stay was amazing very friendly staff
- Chris (10/5): - Very friendly staff!
Clean accommodations!
Very quiet, but we went mid week!
Pools were closed because of Covid 19, but we did fish on the pond!
Overall, clean and very relaxing stay!
- Jose (10/5): Wonderful stay - Had a amazing time, cabin and pool were great kids had a amazing time !!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This was our second time going there . We enjoy the peace and quiet
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We did not like the beds. Very noisy and uncomfortable. We liked the resort campground and the trailer "cabin" we stayed in.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The cabin was ok. It was clean. The beds were terrible. Very uncomfortable and so was the pull out. The amenities were in no way what they advertised. The swimming pool was dirty and had many tiles missing. The pool with the mushroom was in better shape but still needed cleaned. Staff for whatever reason would just lock up the pools from time to time for no reason at all. The water slide was dirty and wasn't opened regularly. We attempted to play mini golf and that was a fail. Their was moss growing all over the course and live animals/insects swimming in the water filled holes. It was disgusting. The game room was ok, but was locked much earlier than 9 pm as stated. Activities weren't posted on the board for Monday until Tuesday, so they obviously didn't happen. Activities were posted until 4 pm, however I only witnessed one activity occur in the 5 days that we were there. The pond (it's definitely not a lake) was covered in scum. They did have canoes and kayaks but you could only use them until 5 pm because the staff left and everything was locked up. There's a boil water advisory in place. Would've been great to know that before we checked in. We also had very noisy neighbors who pretty much took over the resort. They brought sub woofers to the pool and blasted music in Spanish all day everyday and loudly at their cabin. People complained and the office staff said there's nothing we can do it's not quiet time and then complained about other guests complaining.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Place was beautiful, clean.
Staff was very nice and helpful.
- Eugenia (8/5): - Very good time and amazing place
- DOREEN (10/5): QUIET - I GAVE THIS AS A GIFT TO MY DAUGHTER AND SHE SAID IT WAS PERFECT AND SHE PLANS TO GO BACK DURING THE SUMMER. VERY QUIET AND PEACEFUL.
- Miguel (8/5): - Everything was clean, front office staff was friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is everything closes to early.Pool and arcade close at 7pm,restaurant near by close at 9.I was here
during the week so not sure what time they close on the weekend.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Loved how clean and neat our room was. The beds were terrible though, not conducive to a good nights sleep.
- Angelina (10/5): Amazing Place - We had a very relaxing and pleasant experience, we enjoyed every minute. The staff although not a lot was very helpful and accommodating. Planning on returning next year.
