Guest Reviews
- Vicki (6/5): - Try calling that place. They will never answer. They won't answer for Travelocity either. Terrible one on one business practice. Too bad because it wad a cute little place.
- Verified traveler (8/5): One night stay - A quick walk to town and located in a trailer park. The property manager is very friendly and always available. The room was very clean but small. There are no amenities such as a private beach as described on Hotels.com Go directly to the hotel's website for a full description.
- Andrea (10/5): Cute place - country fresh! - We really enjoyed our stay. It definitely has a cottage feel and was decorated with a beach motif. Honestly very cute! Staff & housekeeping were extremely nice and very helpful. It's great to stay with family but if you want your own place to decompress, then this is it! This isn't a Marriott or Hilton but it is country fresh! If possible, get a room on the backside for quietness.
- lawrence (10/5): Charming clean cute - What a charming little place. So clean and cute. We had 4 rooms and they were all great. Easy no contact Check in. Close to town. Great!
- Mike (4/5): - Very deceiving with regard to pictures in Expedia. This is the middle of a trailer park. Beach was closed, nothing in Expedia stating this. Shower is in need of repair, didn't even use it. Will never stay there again.
- Marlene (8/5): Cute cozy room - Cute decorated clean room. I thought hotel was on the beach but it was right in the middle of a mobile home park, that was a surprise. It was just a lil walk down to the beach which unfortunately was closed, I assume due to high levels of water. All the basics you need in a hotel room, very close to downtown Lexington. Bed was a bit uncomfortable. Staff were very pleasant.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The motel was very nice love the access to the water
- Russell (10/5): A+ - It was a great stay. Clean room, comfortable bed, close to downtown and affordable. All that we needed for our weekend stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic spot and very clean and nice rooms with amenities
- Brian (10/5): Great stay! - Friendly check it & a very cozy place!
- Joy (10/5): - Very happy with the service and our room.
Nice and clean room.
- Tammy (8/5): - The staff was very accommodating. Its right withing walking distance to the beach, in a quiet setting. The room was clean however the shower needs some major updating.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very cute setting. Had a great time and was able to walk down to the water and go swimming!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I have not used Expedia in quite awhile, and now I remember why. Why would they even carry this hotel? I wore flip flops in the shower. I cleaned the sink area before I put anything down. There was no where to set a suit case or hang clothes. We could hear the people next door, plain as day, and they were swearing every other word until about 2am. And please do not go by the pictures...I'm not sure where they came from, but it wasn't from our room. This is the first time I ever wrote a bad review about any hotel, and we're pretty frequent travelers. If there was another place to stay, we would have left, but everything else was booked.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The bed was good the place was clean.
The shower didn't work properly scalding hot , almost impossible to make cooler.
The television is next to your head should be at the foot of the bed on the wall.
Towels clean but scratchy.
Coffee maker was broken and didn't work properly.
Small things that could be repaired or changed within 30 minutes and then would be perfect!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Close to our reunion..close to lake..quiet n cozy..
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location and cute as a button - Perfect location. Adorable and clean room. Only complaint is that there isn’t any drawers to put you clothing. I was alone so I piled them on the chair. Other than that, it’s cute as a button. Comfy bed. It was 187 degrees outside and the air conditioner was on when I checked in...yay! All in all a delight!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Carolyn in office was so accommodating.. I can wait to go back. So conveinient to walk into town.
- Ashley (10/5): - The lady that manages the place is only a call away and is happy to assist you with anything at anytime. The location was wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing. Overall I don’t have any complaints.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I thought it was right on the lake but it as in the middle of a mobile home park.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Poor service staff not courteous very dated towels were like sand paper
- Diane (10/5): Charming for a small, out of the way place. - Very nice room, friendly service and a nice private beach access. Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room was small, cute and clean but definitely needs a few details resolved when it came to being functional.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No dresser or place to hang clothes up
- Debbie (8/5): - Stayed the last two years. Family reunion..grounds keeper very pleasant..advised of things to do in the area..
- Fernando (8/5): Business trip - Very peaceful and quiet. Good, basic, no-frills place for a business trip.
- Tammy (10/5): Don't Overlook White Feather - Check in was very smooth! Desk clerk was awesome, and allowed a late check out by request. The hotel was in an excellent location, and was very quiet. We got an excellent night's sleep!
- joanne (4/5): Needs work! - Good location and clean but missing the basics for a comfortable stay. A closet without hangers, no hand soap, parking problems and a general lack of maintenance. With a little TLC it would make a decent cottage getaway.
- Robin (6/5): - Very, very clean, well worn over the years but super clean, had problems with WI-FI but management discounted room. Very friendly and accommodating management.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Very basic - Room was clean. No coffee maker or even microwave would have helped. Shower stall could have been cleaner.
- Jennifer Lynn (4/5): - Bathroom had water damage and smelled like mold. The sheets and blankets where worn and no head bored on the bed!
- Joe (4/5): Unhappy with room and price - beds & furniture very old, shower was full of mold
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Hotel is within a small nicely kept trailer park. Very clean. Shower could be updated and rate was a little high but I honestly saw no other hotels In The area that looked any better. Beach wasn't much. Didn't use it would have used state park beach. Close to town activities. Very quiet.
- Target Contracting Inc (8/5): Comfy and cozy - I stayed 2 nights last minute for work. I was very pleased and happy with my stay.
- Elvis (4/5): it's in a trailer park near a nice beech - The walls could use some insulation, and the shower needed a good scrubbing. Other than that we had a great time in Lexington. The beech was very nice with many sailboats.
- Verified traveler (2/5): DO NOT GO HERE - Filthy. Not worth rating. Bed old, uncomfortable and not even a chair in the rooom.
- Mike (8/5): Nice motel at a reasonable price. - The room was nice and comfortable. My only issue was the Wifi being unreliable at times.
- john (6/5): Average at best, great location - Hard to get a person to answer their phone, older, out dated facility, shower needs work but great location at a good price
- DrTeach (4/5): Photo shop - The photos are a better than the real thing. Embellishment of some and lack of many details on the site.
- Married couple (4/5): Dodgy location - The small motel is located inside an unattractive mobile home park...poor signage made it difficult to find...we decided we would not enjoy a stay subsequent to our drive through the property and found other accomadations
- Kathy (6/5): Pleasant surprise - My son and family needed a place to stay near Port Sanilac for a couple of days. Christy is the new manager and was very helpful. The room was newly remodeled and was clean with a refrigerator, microwave and a coffeemaker. I didn't stay there but I was pleased😀😊
- Verified traveler (6/5): nice stay - we had a nice stay at the white feather the sleeping area was completely updated and fresh we liked that the lake was a short walking distance from the room the only disappointment was the bathroom part of that was updated and nice but the shower appeared to be older it should have been torn out and replaced with a newer stall it wasn't until the next day that i discovered that the shower head was MISSING this is not a big deal for me you just don't expect something like that when you go to bathe maybe at a camp ground but not at a motel the owner apologized but there wasn't any thing she could do on a sunday
- April (10/5): Accommodations - Manager Christy went over and beyond to make my stay very welcoming. Would recommend this motel to anyone. I stayed in room 3 .bed was very comfortable,
would stay there again.
- David (2/5): No Manager on duty! - We received a call later in the afternoon of check in that they "left the door to room #1 unlocked" because they wouldn't be there when we arrived. The rooms were poorly marked and after finding our room, we couldn't leave our belongings because there was no key. The room was dirty and the bathroom was filthy. There was no one to talk to because no one was there! The final straw was when we tried to open the spider web filled blinds and they fell on my wife. I can't believe this is on the hotels.com site! DO NOT STAY HERE!
- Terri (4/5): Nothing like the pictures - This place didn't look anything like the pictures, I do believe they must have used stock photos on their website. It is a little building that looks like an old camp bunkhouse that is literally in the middle of a trailer park. The "hotel" office is also the managers office for the trailer park and the day we arrived was a day that the office was closed. So we had to call someone to get someone to meet us to let us in the room.
The rooms need an update, the tv was tiny and didn't get a clear picture.
