• alexandria (9/5): We stayed with two other families and had ourselves a time. We felt welcomed and at home. - Our room was a standard room, more than enough room for 4 people comfortably. The balcony was a bonus. Breakfast at the Black Diamond Provisions was DELICIOUS and very convenient. The bed was a bit firm for us, but the second night of sleep we were fine. I think some updates to the common hallway areas are necessary (lots of soft spots on the floors). It just seemed like they renovated their conference areas instead of where guests actually stay. Not a deterrent though.
• Amandarenna (8/5): Outdated, but wonderful! - This was the perfect ski in/ski out spot for our family. First time at Attitash and the ski check made it so easy to hop on skis when the mood struck. After a long day on the slopes the heated pool and hot tubs were a fantastic way to sooth sore muscles. Made use of the cafe a couple of times, great food and the staff was warm and welcoming throughout. Our room was small but sufficient—kitchenette was great for us. Only complaint is the poor quality mattresses, which did nothing for my back. Good thing I brought my heating pad.
• countrytravelers15 (4/5): Stay away and you will thank us - When we arrived to check in we were told the room was not ready yet. Check in time was 4pm and it was after 4pm when we arrived. We were told that our room would be ready by 5pm so we ran out to do a quick errand. When we returned at 5pm we were told by the lady at the front desk that they had not even started cleaning our room yet. At this point in time there were a bunch of families waiting in the lobby for their rooms an hour after check in. The lady I was dealing with at the front desk that was shorter than the others, had glasses and was a little older actually yelled at a kid that was about 1-2 years old. She yelled at them saying be quiet I can't even think. The mom was very kind and said we are trying to do our best but we have been waiting a long time for our room. I have never in my travels or career ever heard any hotel staff member yell at a young kid like this. The lady at the desk told us the General Manager was going up to our room to help expedite the cleaning. At 6pm we were finally given keys and told were our room is. We were not given an apology or anything, the lady acted like nothing was wrong. When we got to the room we found 4 housekeepers still cleaning the room. One of them was on her phone talking to her boyfriend about court orders. So we had to wait longer for them to leave to get into our room. We quickly noticed all of the issues in the room. There was no garbage can in the bathroom, the freezer had a large crack on the bottom of it, the fridge made a crazy loud noise when it was shutting down from its cooling cycle, the handles were falling off some of the drawers of the dressers, there were cords for lamps all over the place, 2 of the towels had what looked like blood stains, the bathmat was shredded on one edge and there was heavy mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. During our stay there were kids running up and down the hall later at night to the point our kids had a hard time falling asleep. There was candy and lollipop sticks in the hallway all weekend we were there. When we went to the pool we found no towels but a sign saying pool towels were in your room. There were no pool towels in our room, we had to go to the desk to get some. The only positive we found was you do have the option to ski and and ski out from the hotel but other than that there was nothing positive about the hotel. This hotel is managed by Haycreek and they are an absolute terrible company. They try to cut costs anyway they can with no care for the guests. They only give their housekeepers a very short time to clean rooms and maintain the property. We would HIGHLY recommend staying anywhere else in the North Conway area for your trip. Like we said the only positive we found was the ski in and ski out option. Trust us you will be better off driving to the ski area and staying someplace else. The people that work at this hotel know nothing about hospitality and making anyone feel welcomed.
• Mary (4/5): It was convenient to the mountain, clean and the staff was nice. The hot tub was good. - We didn't have breakfast there. It was disappointing that there was no restaurant or bar on premises. We had to go out all the time. No microwave in the room or nearby. There was no restaurant on premises. The carpet in the hallways have seen better days. The flooring underneath the carpet was irregular and bumpy. The people above our unit were noisy,running all around the room.

• Wentz (8/5): - We loved the ski in/ski out capabilities of the Grand Summit, and being able to check our gear over night was key. The trail from the peak of Bear Mountain was a blue though, and would be tough for beginners, so I would suggest taking the shuttle or walking from the base of Bear for beginner riders. We liked that there was a grill for breakfasts, the food was great. The restaurant was closed until Spring, wish that would have been open, but we were able to find some good restaurants in Conway. Parking, in front, was very limited, and if you don't get a spot, it's quite a walk from the lot below the hotel.
• TK (8/5): Going back in a few weeks, worth it! - Loved the ski in ski out. Some places say it is but this really is. Ski check was convenient, staff is super friendly. The hot tub felt so great after skiing. We loved our huge room with kitchen, made taking breaks worthwhile and we were able to save money avoiding the expensive lodge. The rooms are a bit dated but that really doesn't matter to us. Dishwasher was broke but I hand washed dishes, that didn't matter to us either but may to some people. Whole place could use an update but then I fear the price would go up. You can't beat the value for what you get for a ski in ski out.
• 650caitlinj (2/5): Canceled Reservation with No Communication - I booked a room at Attitash Grand Summit Resort online and received a confirmation email with the correct room type, my accurate information, and a confirmation number. When I arrived at 8 PM, I was told there was no record of my reservation. Later, staff said they did see it, but that it had been canceled “in the system.” They then claimed my credit card was declined, which was not true and had ample available credit. I could not get a straight or consistent answer from any employee. Ultimately, I was told the hotel was sold out and that my reservation was not valid, with no clear explanation. The next day, a different employee explained there had been a change in management and that at least two other guests experienced the same issue that night due to software problems. Between system failures and staff honesty issues, I would not risk your family’s vacation here. Steer clear and save yourself the stress.

• Carly (7/5): Good-not great - Location, hot tub The hotel is very outdated. The beds are not comfortable and staff doesn’t communicate very well. The front desk staff were very friendly but did not tell us we couldn’t have skis in the room, which we did the first night. The people that monitored people dropping off skis etc were overall ok, the man Sunday morning 1/11 was not friendly at all. It’s in a good location, but it will be a bit before returning.

• BostonBeachmum (8/5): Comfortable but some problems - Hotel room was clean, bed was comfortable. The pub was closed, which we found disappointing. We were told late checkout was available but when we asked for it, they said it wasn’t available. The pickleball court was closed. The sauna wasn’t working. The hot tubs seemed poorly maintained but was super bubbly and warm. Pool was clean and warm. The ice and snow at the drop off area was not thoroughly shoveled and it was slippery. A burner on stove was broken. Keurig included two pods. We had called ahead to ask if the kitchen was stocked with dishes and pans and we were told no. So we brought our own and found the kitchen was actually fully stocked. There was a zero-vibe cafe for paid breakfast and lunch, with beer and wine available for purchase. It is open 8-1, and Friday and Saturday 4-8. Comfy seating around the gas fireplace in lobby. Front desk people were nice.

I tried to enjoy a glass of wine in the lobby and was told it was not aloud. They did not offer smores although website claims they do, never saw the fire pit lit, although never asked for it as we had no smores. Room was big, kitchen well stock, bed very uncomfortable. walls are thin. I feel the resort is mismanaged, When I came home I found an extra charge of $100 no email, no explanation, just charged. I called the hotel and reception told me they would refund it and send me an email. I waited 24 hours no email, no refund. I called back and spoke to someone new, they informed that it was for cleaning for smoking, I and my daughter do not smoke, but she said she smelled from the next room, I asked to speak to a manager and was told someone would get back to me, Three days later I'm still waiting, My guess is that they charged the wrong room. I'm not surprised by the way the place is run.

• Helene (7/5): Classic cosy stay in the whites - I requested q quiet room and was pleased with no noise, I slept like a log! Access to the pool and jacuzzi is great, easy parking and checking, spacious warm cozy room and balcony. The room was extremely dry, I must have drank a gallon of water while there to stay hydrated. Perhaps this was due to the fact that I was located above the mechanical room as the floor was very (and nicely) warm. I was expecting the restaurant but it is closed until December 18th.
• TIRED21 (10/5): Another great week at the Grand Summit Hotel in the books! - This was our second visit here and it was just as good as the first time. The kitchen is well equipped but since we had been there before and I did the cooking I brought a few things from home. They have a K cup coffee maker plus a regular drip coffee maker but that was missing from our room and Pat made sure that we had one right away. Thanks Pat! North Conway is only 15-20 minutes away with lots of great stores to browse through.
• B5889YKfranke (6/5): Location is great but has maintenance issues. - We went for a weekend to unwind and do a bit of hiking. After exercise we went to the pool area and were seriously disappointed with the condition of that area. Both Hot tubs were green and dirty with oily rings at the water level and grit withing the seating and floor areas. The large pool also had a green tinge to the water and needed cleaning. I reported this to the on-duty manager who really had nothing to say. I find it surprising that she did not know of the pool area was in need of some serious care. Seems like she would have done a walk around to check for problems instead of just sitting in the office. The room was clean and comfortable as expected. The gym area is small but adequate. There is no access to water or even cups in the exercise area. This took away from our weekend plans, and we probably will not return there. There are other facilities in the area that we've visited and not experienced this problem. Very disappointed with the cost of our stay and the condition of the pool area as this was something we looked forward to.

The hotel is an older timeshare that fixed up the common areas but the room was awkwardly furnished and run down. Noise from other rooms was prevalent. If you're a skier it is super convenient to the slopes.

• donotcontact1 (10/5): Great vacation - Front desk folks are great! Unit 331 was HUGE! Easily and comfortably would sleep 6 or more. Bunk beds in 2nd bedroom plus an extra bed in same room. Two full baths; one larger between master BR and 2nd bedroom. Sliders to deck outside living room area. Very large kitchen/dining area. We were so surprised at the size of this place that I wanted to point out for those who are considering 4-6 folks (+kids).
• Anabela (8/5): - We had a good stay there. It didn’t start as we planned as our room was not ready. They were short staffed. The room was clean and the staff was very apologetic.
• Willis (6/5): - The facility really is grand. The front desk staff were wonderful. On the other hand we arrived late in the afternoon, but had to wait for our room, along with a few other guests. We weren’t happy, either, that there was no place to have breakfast, except for a grab and go that we had to pay for to take back to our room.
• Andrew (4/5): - I recently stayed with my wife and overall, we were disappointed. The toilet seat in our room was broken, we asked the front desk if they could fix it, they said yes and we never heard anything. It was never fixed. The bed in our room was very, very uncomfortable. The shower drain was plugged and hardly drained so you had to stand in cold water while you showered. The sauna was filthy, trash all over the floor and dust everywhere. The dust was so bad, when it got hot, we had to get out because we were sneezing so much. The restaurant was also a huge let down. The lady working there on Sunday was the only one working. She was doing the hostess job, waitressing, bar tending, delivering food and cleaning tables. The bar was full and 2/3 of the tables were full. She did great but after waiting 40 minutes to have our order taken( again not her fault) , we left and went somewhere else at almost 9 at night. I cancelled a prior reservation to come to The Grand Summit and opted to eat the $432 charge from the other hotel to cancel. It was 100% not worth it and I should have kept my original reservation in Lincoln.

• SUSAN (6/5): - No view other than a bank of grass. The staff were friendly, but the place needs some tlc/up-dating. Room was clean, but because of the fixtures needing up-dating it gave the feeling of not being clean. Location was good for what we had planned. Definite staffing issues - check in was very delayed and the restaurant was short staffed which made the menu limited and the wait long. We couldn't get into our room until almost 6:30 and there were numerous other families/couples waiting in the lobby as well. I'm glad we didn't have groceries with us expecting to be able to put them in the refrigerator right away. There were several missing slats of blinds on our door, which was blatantly obvious as soon as we walked in. The paint on the outside banister was all peeling off and the furniture in the room was all scratched up or marred. I was glad we had the suite with the separate seating/tv area, but the sofa was so uncomfortable. The staff was nice, especially the gentleman working the bar/restaurant. The housekeeping staff was nice, but they seemed over-worked and under-staffed.

There’s only one entrance to the hotel (which I like for safety reasons) and I had to park far away and down a small hill. Hauling my luggage up the hill was a lot at the end of a long day and then my room was at the very end of the hotel. Moral of the story is to arrive earlier in the day.

• Lora (6/5): - On our initial check in the staff was friendly. The late night registration staff was rude and acted like we were putting her out when asking where the ice machine was. Our phone in our room didn’t have any keypads/buttons to let us know how to reach the front desk. Definitely not worth the price

• Jack (10/5): - Convenient to White Mountain National Forest. Not to far of a drive to stores and Conway NH. Nice clean room. Nice pool and hot tub. Glad there was laundry room and can use it anytime. The arcade room was cool as well. Bed was comfortable. Rooms could use update but was still nice. Very pretty property well kept.

• Thomas (4/5): - We stayed in room 150 and the Murphy bed mattress was plastic and all the springs were broken and made so much noise. We had to open up the pullout couch and put that mattress on top of the Murphy bed.
• Andrea (6/5): - The hotel and room are very outdated. We had dirty dishes in our cabinets and something sticky on our bathroom floor. Makes you wonder about the sheets and pillows…. The staff were very friendly and the location is perfect.
• Gregory (8/5): We enjoyed the trip. - Our stay was fine, bit the heater was banging every so often. It woke us up. The sheets were scratchy. On the other hand we had a 3rd floor suite. Beautiful foliage to look at. We've been ping there or years and will be there after Thanksgiving That heater!!

• Katey (2/5): - The air conditioner made a terrible noise, sounded like a jet engine. We were suppose to stay for one night after riding a motorcycle all day and we ended up leaving at 2 AM because we couldn’t take the noise and how hot the room was. We did have another reservation in February to go back, but we will be cancelling that reservation once we book another hotel.
• Douglas (10/5): Great place to stay! - Would definitely stay here again. Clean, private setting, comfortable beds and great pillows. Slept great in this convenient, yet private location.

• Tara (8/5): - The hotel was very clean. Staff was very nice and friendly. Pull out sofa was comfortable although the Murphy bed was extremely squeaky and not comfortable. The walls are a little thin we could hear people talking and doors slamming. I know this is to be expected in hotels. We have stayed here previous years and would stay here again. Grounds are immaculate and the fire pits were nice. We got in too late to enjoy.

• Hollyann (10/5): - Overall, I was very pleased with our stay at Grand Summit. We planned a trip to Storyland and the drive home would be too much after a day in the park, so we wanted to stay the night at a local hotel. This resort is only 10 minutes away from Storyland. The room accommodation that we chose was perfect for us. We booked the Deluxe Queen Suite ($50 more than a regular room, and WELL WORTH IT). There was a nice bathroom with two sinks, private bedroom, decent sized living (slightly dated furniture) and small kitchenette (fridge, freezer, stove, microwave). With a toddler, we needed the separate bedroom to put to bed early and still be able to enjoy some parental downtime. There was a little balcony that was nice. The small downsides: I will say there were a few cosmetic blemishes (peeling paint, multiple cobwebs, broken picture frame). Some things like mentioned above were slightly outdated like the sofa/chair, but overall for the accommodations we had, I could easily live with these. We did have a room across from the pool and I was worried about the noise, but it wasn't much more than expected (some "stomping" heard, likely from kids running around, but it wasn't bad). If we needed a hotel to stay at after a Storyland visit, we would definitely stay here again!
• Nikhil (10/5): - The pool and the hot tubs were a huge hit. Also the proximity to North Conway town center and Storyland park were great features. It was our first time here and I’m sure we will come back again for the proximity and great location of this property in the summer and fall months.
• M6910UZjessicab (8/5): Clean, affordable room with mountain views. - The Grand Summit hotel is a lovely place to stay if you are looking for cleanliness and affordability. Our room was very clean and had fluffy towels, beds were pretty comfortable. We loved the outdoor fire pits, pool, and hot tubs. We didn’t get to use the sauna or restaurant but would on our next stay. We have no complaints about staying here and would return again. Pat took really good care of us!
• Devon (10/5): Perfect - Even though checking in late at night we were still greeted warmly and with the best service. Room was clean and comfortable, beds were great. My kid loved the pool.
• Caitlin (8/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful, they truly went above and beyond. The inside was a little rundown with some dips in the floors and dings in the walls. The pool area needed a little bit of cleaning especially on the plastic that covered the swim in swim out entrance. Also there is no where to refill water. Other than that we had a great stay. The outside of the property is gorgeous and it did look like they were working on maintenance inside. I just think the pricing should be slightly adjusted.

• Kelly (6/5): - We’ve been coming here for a few years and have always appreciated the clean rooms, spacious layout, and fun pool area. We were disappointed with some of the amenities this trip. Coffee was complimentary one morning but not the next, and food options were very limited. We had planned to have breakfast on-site, only to find the Provisions Café closed indefinitely. Overall, the experience didn’t match the standards we’ve come to expect.

• Bethany (8/5): - Room was spacious and clean, tv didn't receive all the channels even though it's cable tv, no cups in the room, the pool was nice and heated, there was a cute little jungle gym/park for the kids at off to the side (wish it was closer to the rest of the hotel's annemeties) but it was set behind the extra parking lots, so we didn't feel safe to stay out after dark with the kids due to poor lighting/visibility and distance from the hotel. Also, there are not many options around and you have to drive to get wherever you're going, but otherwise it is a nice hotel. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable (2 queens).
• Catarina (8/5): - This is our third time staying at this resort. Obviously they do a good job because we keep coming back. Some areas in the room/bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Just minor things like mold starting to grow on the shower ceiling from the moisture and a bar of soap left behind from a previous customer. It was high up so housekeeping could easily miss it. Things happen. But overall we like this location. Especially being in the mountains. It fits the vibe we are always looking for. Thank you for our annual stay.
• Tingting (10/5): - The front desk staff are super nice and helpful. My daughter wanna use microwave to heat the instant noodles but they don’t have it in room so they bring a microwave to our room. Really thankful.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Not sure if we would stay again - The hotel was beautiful walking in, and the front desk staff were so friendly. The room was outdated however, and the air conditioning didn’t work. They had a standing fan in the closet we used, but the room was very stuffy.
• Marjorie (6/5): - Room was spacious and clean . Very disappointed when we found out the bar/pub was not open on Mondays and Tuesday nights and restaurant permanently closed . We actually frequently go to Conway and this was our first stay here and we picked the hotel based on having a place to grab food and drinks without leaving the hotel at night. Hot tubs need cleaning. Fire pit area was nice
• Nicole (8/5): - It’s a beautiful area. The property is very outdated. The hot tubs and pool need repair and serious cleaning. The staff were all very nice and the on-site restaurant served good food.
• 700melodyt (4/5): Very disappointed in Unit - Unit we got booked into was not ready when we arrived. Upon initial inspection of unit after we were given key, was less than expected. Dirty dishes left in dishwasher, thick dust on lights, duct vent fan in bathroom hadn't been cleaned in ages. One small bar of soap for 3 sinks and shower. Pots, pans & silverware all had to get washed before use due to food stuck on all. Crank out window was broke so couldn't close it after opening. Deck had not seen a cleaning in ages. Light over deck was full of dead bugs. Stove top not one burner set flush on stove. All were at an angle so had to hold them in place. Only baking pan was the broiler pan. Requested a small baking an/cookie sheet, got a small pyrex baking dish. Needed a broom, and only ones that had they were housekeeping, so had to wait til they came on duty to use it. Unit was located at the far end of resort over the loading dock. Views were of dumpster & pine trees. Staff smoked out there and the smoke drifted into the unit due to the window that we couldn't close.
• Sarah (10/5): Great location and family friendly - Loved this location for traveling with kids. We enjoyed the heated pool, hot tubs, sauna and arcade. Small playground available for younger kids. Nice pond walk across the road. Unfortunately tap house was closed on the nights we were there but kitchenette in the room made family meals easy. Overall great stay!
