The refrigerator had a missing freezer door that nade it frost up so nothing will fit in it. The remodel was done by people who are not professional so the quality of tile and other things are shoddy. No common room. No breakfast. Nor returns so I paid for an extra night that I did not stay because I checked out a day early and they would not refund the day I paid extra for. Otherwise, clean. No bugs. Friendly housekeeper.

Thomas (4/5): - This place is a mess. Owned by Bangladesh people, who do not speak good English. The pool is discussing and not heated or been cleaned in weeks. Asked when we check in , when was the last time pool was cleaned? Front desk person relied " it was cleaned yesterday 😠 when I went in the inside pool room, there was film on the top of the water. The only thing that touch that pool was my big toe to check the temperature 🌡️. Never again, please do not stay here only if your desperate for Sex or a play to sleep for (1) only!!!!

They wouldn’t allow me to check in and refused to give me a refund so I had to call the police on them. Verified traveler (2/5): - Once I got to the property I had to wait for twenty minutes just to get waited on, at this point it's already a hour or so past check in. From the start the whole staff was rude not to add they were doing work on the property all day and night. I heard loud beating and banging the whole time I was there. The cleaning lady was the nicest worker of the whole staff, she asked me daily if I needed anything and on my last day there she asked me if I was checking out or staying over and I asked her if I could please take a shower and then get ready to leave. She told me that it was not a problem, this was at about 10:45. By the time I got into the shower five minutes later there was another knock on the door, this time it was a man and he said that I was late checking out and that he was turning off the water to my room so I would go ahead and leave and he was very rude. This was a very unpleasant stay.

We only had one towel. He gave him a hard time like he didn't believe him. He said my wife put them in there and asked was he sure it was not there. He finally gave him the towel and wash cloths. I have encountered him before and seems to have a bad attitude each time. We will not come back.

But i went to walmart and bought a blanket and pillow. The towels had stains on them. I also bought me a towel and washcloth. I bought shower shoes because the shower didnt look clean. That didnt last long due to no freaking hot water. I spent $80.46 on a dump.
LATONYA (6/5): Don't stay if you want visitors in your room!!! - It was 4 of July weekend and after traveling 9 hours I get there and they tell me I couldn't have VISITORS... I felt like they should have said that in the reservation... My family wanted to come see me because of the long trip and couldn't.... For such a busy weekend I see no cars, only mine and one other for three days!!! Did something happen at that hotel? Not gonna reserve another night there and would not have kept the reservation if I would have known about the visitor policy. I made this reservation one month in advance and felt if I would have walked away my credit card would have still been charged so I stayed...

Free breakfast was half a pot of burned coffee between six guests. And two prepackaged cinnamon rolls?? No coffee in rooms. Absolutely the worst motel experience I have ever had. :(
Dwon (4/5): Disgusting - It was not good at all, old and outdated furniture, refrigerator did not get cold, the staff at the front desk was not customer friendly, they asked me to put a 25.00 dollar deposit down wich was not posted when I reserved the room on line, this 25.00 dollar deposit was for a non smoking room, in which I requested because i do not smoke! When I got up the next morning no breakfast was served, but when I resevered the room it stated that they had continental breakfast, that was a lie , then I had to go back and forth with the attendant who was at the front desk about my 25.00 dollar deposit and he was trying not to give me my deposit back, so after explaining to him I was suppose to get it back he finally made a call and found out that he did owe me my deposit back. Very disappointed with this hotel would not prefer no one to book a stay there.
Verified traveler (4/5): Worse place ever! - One of the worse motels I’ve stayed in. The “continental breakfast” consisted of cereal in a tumbler with no milk, and gas station bought danishes, with NO coffee. When I asked about coffee, I was told to make it myself. The front desk clerk, Amos, had the worse attitude, demeanor and customer service I’ve ever seen. The other one however, VJ, was a delight. Unfortunately, Amos, is the owner so that’s a wash. I was charged $74 for the first night, then mid-stay, I was told that price was a mistake and was promptly charged $95 for the next night. Which, of course, I had to pay because I was mid-vacation. The room was comfortable and clean, but the microwave was broken, as well as some of the furniture. The icing on the cake, was the fact that check out is at 11 Am, but after 7 am, they deactivate your key card for the door. This requires you to walk down to the front desk, only to be berated about leaving or paying for another night. There are MANY other hotel/motels to stay at around Clayton county, do not stay at this one. You’ve been warned!

We checked in and parked the car and immediately heard a woman screaming at who I assume was her husband. Management took care of it immediately. The room was decent, bed was hard and you could tell it was old as was the bedding. The curtains had holes in them like they’d been chewed by moths.

I did not look to much into it but when we got into the room it had a little bit of a smell to it for being a non smoking room. The air conditioner was iffy. The wall cutouts for the fridge and microwave were very poorly done and looked rush. Sink/bathroom area wasn't terribly dirty but was not the cleanest. However the good thing I can say was the beds were comfortable

elfriedemclachlan (2/5): Not to be recommended - I had pre-booked from my home in Vienna, Austria, because I wanted something close enough to Atlanta airport, but at a lower price than the properties at the airport. When I arrived I had to wait at the night window (6.30 pm) and was neither told about breakfast times nor given the password for Wi-Fi. The lobby was not accessible to me at any time. Even for breakfast I had to ring (at the night window again!) repeatedly before the owner slurred along at a snail's pace and let me in relucyantly. No apologies were offered. Breakfast was really basic, no toast, just milk and cereals. No fresh fruit, of course! Again, I had to ring repeatedly when I wanted to check out - even at 10 am the lobby was left unattended. The owner did not even seem concerned when I told him that I considered his attitude unacceptable and would certainly never come back again! I also told him that I would write a negative review for trip advisor - again, he just showed no concern. So, here it is! Not a great beginning of my holiday and certainly not representative of Georgia's hospitality, I hope!!!
Thomas D. (2/5): Negative response to checking out early. - Had an emergency which caused me to leave @ 10:00 a.m. on the second day of stay. Clerk said no refund would be returned for third day. Sofa had burnt holes in cushion and no information was in the room about wi-fi, breakfast or anything about hotel. Layout of room was terrible, with only clothes rack located in bathroom, which didn’t have an exhaust fan so all moisture gets in your clothes.

Bad attitude from both people I dealt with and they spoke in another language, not English, in front of me while I was at their counter. Even charged for any late check out and were very rude/demanding about the $10/hr late fee. Even had the nerve to request it in cash!

The attendant was sleeping in the room, and did not hear my 2 phone calls, nor my visit to the office. They have a bell, he didn't hear that either!! Laura (4/5): Husband and wife owners accommodating - Evacuate victim from Irma, room was available right away. Very old hotel. cobwebs by heater/ac unit. broken desk chair, holes in bedspread. Bathroom floor had a leak with water standing by toilet. First morning at breakfast,the orange juice was orange punch not juice and my companion and I chose packaged breakfast rolls that each had mold on it. The husband and wife owners were very accommodating but older gentlemen was very unfriendly. When I went into lobby for coffee one morning he never acknowledged me but when customer came in to pay his bill, the gentleman put on a friendly manner. I did appreciate getting a room right away when checking in.

Upon checking out I asked the older gentleman for a receipt & he looked as he didn't understand & went and got another gentleman. The site itself was OK, but I should've notice the condition by the sign, it needs to be updated, also the rooms needs improvement. We didn't uncover the beddings, slept carefully on top of the comforter. This hotel is too outdated for this price! would be Better if they re-rentivate the rooms with everything (TV was OK) including carpet & most of all hire Better Customer Service Representative with Smiles, being cheap using your family has hurt your business. Never Again!

I only live 45 minutes away from this area, but I've been working and I wanted to rest. Royal Inn, was my savior for the night. Missing a few light bulbs, but the fridge & microwave worked fine! I even had Wi-Fi @ this price!! When I have to revisit and do work on this side of town, I will have no hesitations, even with outdoor access. 2 thumbs up
Hemperley (6/5): Not a value - My wife and i had been wanting to check out the jacuzzi suites. They charge 150 dollars a day extremely overpriced. Upon check in we we had to go to the office for sgeets for the bed as it had none. UponUpon waking uo i find i can get no coffee till 7am this hotel likes to keep bankers hours. My key quit working and they wanted to let me in my 150 dollar room but not fix my key we shall never stay here again and suggest you not either.
MusicLover67 (6/5): Decent, clean, acceptable for the price - We've stayed here several times. Nothing fancy, but it;s clean, the mattresses seem new, and it's convenient to the South Expressway (US 19-41). Very few amenities, no pool or internet, not even a hair dryer in the room. There were a few missing or burned-out light bulbs. The TV, once you figure out how to work it, is good and has cable. There is a fridge and a microwave. There are supposed to be jacuzzi suites, but we have never stayed in one of them. Breakfast is included; consists of cereal and sweet rolls - no hot food. Basically just a quiet, comfortable, economical place to crash overnight.
