Guest Reviews
- Shoraimov (1/5): - The quality of serving zero When we came they didnt let us to stay. The staf wasnt polite
- Ramazan (1/5): -
- Mirian (10/5): - The staff is lovely and very kind. The rooms are kept fresh and clean. Located in a perfect place with many places to buy gifts. The beach is less than a minute walk from the hotel. Overall excellent.
- Ana (6/5): - Location was good, room and balcony size was norm, free drinks, grilled meat and fish was tasty. -door electric keys doesn't work, finely the staff change door lock, but it still was too hard to get into the room.
-Staff was under stress, beacouse of long working hours.
-bathrooms need renovation
- food has a bad quality, they served the same salads and spoiled butter every day.
- Асратова (5/5): -
- paulb12648 (8/5): A convivial break by the sea. - The major positive of this hotel is its location - a stones throw from the pebble beach across a small pedestrian path and straight into a clear turquoise sea (be aware though that it shelves steeply, so caution is needed if visiting with children). Head right as you exit the swimming pool area and the promenade leads directly into the marina. It is also only a short walk to the shops and nightlife in the centre of Kemer. As for the hotel itself, it was fine for a hotel with this classification - clean, tidy and quiet in the sea facing rooms. The staff were generally helpful, especially Natalia on reception and her colleague Ogulcan who went above and beyond, even going as far as carrying a new fridge for the mini bar to replace ours that was broken. Overall the food and drink was the standard all inclusive fare - perfectly acceptable if a little unimaginative. The client group when we were there was quite mixed (Romanian, Serbian) but predominantly Russian. On the downside, it is in need of a little attention and some sprucing up. The staff were mainly young, with little English spoken, which led to some confusion at times - they need a little more training. In general though a good holiday experience.
- Altal (7/5): Good -
- Nataliya (5/5): Internett missing - Friends of mine
Its ok Stone on the beach
- williamhE7727LZ (2/5): Viking NO NO! - The Viking Nona was advertised as a 4* hotel and the package we had was all inclusive.
On arrival immediately found the receptionist did not speak English, (the language barrier was to be a constant issue throughout our stay as we found out).
The hotel offers free WiFi however what is not mentioned at the time of booking is that this is limited to the reception area only and if you want WiFi in your rooms or around the hotel it will set you back 18 euros each for seven days so not the best start being ripped for an extra 36 euros.
We booked a double room but for some reason it had an extra single bed in it, which proved to be a help as the double bed was so uncomfortable my wife could not sleep in it, the mattress was old, worn out and with hard spots in numerous areas.
The air conditioning was found to be in the same worn out state and did not work consistently, with the unit only pushing out a very low volume of air, it varied from cool to luke warm which given the temperatures made getting a good nights sleep impossible, we had to resort to sleeping with the balcony door wide open to gain some relief with night time temperatures at 24 Celsius being cooler than the room.
There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms, this was due to " an issue" in the past which led to these being removed apparently, so if you wanted coffee you had to trek to the dining area and use the machine.
There were no plugs for the bath or the hand basin so i had to try to make my own out of the paper soap dish in the bathroom to be able to shave in the mornings, the shower unit is also old and consists of a shower head and tap configuration in the bath whilst the shower was powerful the shower head would not remain at the top position without being held there it was also very slippy in the bath as the bath did not drain well and after a shower you were almost ankle deep in water care must be taken in getting in and out as floor also very slippery with no non slip mat or covering.
The room was in a tatty state with water staining visible on the walls below the air conditioning unit, there were also chipped plaster patches around the patio door reveals. The architrave around the entrance door was loose and showed to be attached via silicone sealant with a patch of missing plaster around the right hand side.
Food was found to cater to mainly Russian / Eastern European taste consisting of rice and a minced meat dish from the previous evening served as part of breakfast, there was also hard boiled eggs salad and a variety of cold meats and fruit available which was not particularly appetising. There were fried eggs and omelettes cooked but these were usually over done and luke warm
The evening meals consisted of the same /very similar fare, however the lunches were reasonable to be fair with cold chicken and other meats with fresh mixed salads and fruit plus the usual sweet treats but as we did not want to be tied to a time when out and about we decided to forego this and eat out for breakfast and evening meals.
The drinks were limited to Tuborg lager, non branded vodka and Gin and soft drinks, everything else was extra and not covered, in addition the beach bar was also not covered under the package, overall this was not what we expected for an all inclusive package and felt we were misled completely.
Given the above issues i would rate this Hotel as 2* at best it is tired, tatty and in need of refurbishment and investment, the staff were indifferent at best and rude at worst with no consideration given to guest satisfaction the language barrier being a big issue, as well as a lack of training.
The one shining light was Firat who took the time to engage with us and converse at length whose English very good, he also arranged a Turkish Bath and spa which was very good but unfortunately he was not on site all the time and worked between other Viking hotels
The overall experience with the hotel was so poor that i would not recommend anyone to stay here unless you like being hit with extra costs for a 2* service.
We will not be returning and will not be recommending this chain to anyone.
- Tolgonai (10/5): Highly recommend for families, friends, couples. Everything was great 😊🥰 - Location, food, staff are really nice and helpful! The pool was a bit small but great:). It was 50 metres from the beach, we were enjoying beers, wine for free. Cocktails were also great, but for the extra charge. Each Friday they do a Turkish night. Moreover, they serve enough meat, it is really great if u’re meat lover or if u love seafood. The room had a view and it was an amazing view, the air conditioner was working properly😁. They give all of their guests towels for the beach😊.
U can use all facilities except the room until ur check-in (if u’re arrive 2-3 hours earlier it’s not a big deal) Sometimes elevator was out of service
- T802VVma (2/5): Worst hotel we’ve stayed at! - Where do I start…
From the moment that we had arrived at this hotel there were problems.
First off the hotel staff were rude and incompetent and didn’t understand a word of English but could understand Russian and German as well as Turkish surely they would cater to English speakers too.
The security guard constantly threatened us with the police due to ‘noise’
The ‘hotel rep’ demanded that we come to the meeting at 10:30am when we had landed late at night and just wanted to enjoy our day
He was repetitively repeating the same things over again
The rooms were all messed up and the air con didn’t work which resulted in a lot of room changes.
The rooms were also messed up with
The staff didn’t care for the health and safety of the hotel especially around the pool area which in return resulted in a major injury and another child had also slipped straight after
The drinks at the bar very limited to what we could drink as usually for non alcohol drinkers they have a mock tail menu but we could only have fizzy drinks.
The food was mediocre to say the least
Food has no flavour and it was continuously the same type of dishes such as pasta and rice
There was favouritism towards the guests who were Eastern European
We as a family felt very uncomfortable due to the stares and the lack of care given towards us as a family of 15
The rooms were dirty as there were things left under beds such as dirty underwear and other items from previous guests
The staff stood around talking to each other and were very slow in cleaning tables
The entertainment well I wouldn’t call it entertainment to be honest
The only thing that was remotely entertaining was the belly dancer
Don’t bother getting ice creams if you don’t want a inflated charge at the end of your stay
€10 euros for missing towels if you don’t hand them in at the end of the day
The manager I have no bad words to say about as he spoke very good English and helped us in any way
Do not come to this hotel!!!
It was the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at and well if I could rate it less than one star then I would.
- Sweetie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Vadym (8/5): Very good -
- sweetied2020 (2/5): Very disappointed - The only 1 good thing about this hotel was the location. The all inclusive was a joke. Choice of 3 local drinks - gin, vodka and beer. Whiskey or cocktails werent included. It stated minibar on the booking.com description, but that meant an empty fridge and water on arrival. Had to pay 3 euros daily for use of iron. The shower door opened only abit so if you are a big person its hard to get in and out of the shower. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. Beach bar was not part of the all inclusive. The food was boring and bland and not varied. We had to eat out every evening. Never again.
- francosc827 (2/5): Below any criticism ! - A hotel below any criticism; Dirt, cockroaches, old and damaged room equipment, the lack of any dishes to eat and drink in the room, the lack of a kettle - and even the lack of enough dishes in the canteen and bar, which resulted in the widespread use of plastic and polystyrene cups. Lack of interest of the hotel staff and management in guests and their satisfaction with the service. It is not possible to communicate in English with anyone in the hotel - including the reception!
- Andrey (8/5): Very good -
- Serkan (5/5): Passable -
- Mihkel (6/5): too touristic town, service people spoiled by plenty of visitors - Location. Politeness of the manager. wifi for extra money in the room. its anacronism. ongoing repairs. hotel could be do it before guests´ arrival.
- Dmytro (8/5): Very good -
- Dilyara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vitaly (6/5): bad experience - We stayed here at the end of December.
Room was as cold as in a snow cave, no one warmed it up before we checked in despite the fact we'd booked our stay in advance. It took several hours to make it warm enough to sit without a blanket.
Breakfast was realy poor, although we waited 20 mins for it and it's also very cold down there in the restraunt.
I would not recommend staying here during winter season.
- Emad (6/5): Pleasant -
- Irina (1/5): Must-avoid hotel - Nothing Anyone who travels for a WORK-ation, this place is awful. Let's start with the Invoice: you will not get it. Email, call, ask at the reception, complain to Booking.com - no use. That is why I will report them to TÜROB & TÜBİS. Internet is PAID. Not just per room, but per device per day. And it is crap.
The rest...
-- Well, food is really bad. I mean REALLY bad.
-- Staff hardly speaks any English.
-- The hotel is run down. I have stayed in 2 rooms and had: towel hanger fall off the wall, TV not working, door to the balcony not closing, mini-bar not working.
-- There are no toiletries. Just liquid soap. No gowns, no slippers, nothing. Hair drier works intermittently, because it overheats in about 30 seconds.
-- Beach is a strip of pebbles 10m wide, with 3 rows of chaise-lounge crammed onto it. Makes you sad. Public beaches of Kemer are better looking.
This was the worst hotel for this money I have been to. I mean, if they get rid of all-inclusive and drop prices to 40 EUR per night - this would be fair and no one would complain.
- Dalton (9/5): Superb - The best thing about this hotel is the location
- Amira (6/5): Pleasant - Clean and friendly staff Room very small, food not bad but boring
- Asad (7/5): Good. - The facilities were great and the food and drink in all inclusive package was good. EREN had exceptional customer service and was very helpful. Bed sheets did not smell good! The front staff Bozo was not very bright or helpful. They also hadn’t arranged a double bed for us although we had put two guests on their honeymoon.
- Robert (8/5): Beachfront with pool - We found the Hotel comfortable, and in a lovely position on the Kemer beach front. The rooms were nice, the staff friendly, and the food varied enough. The beach is stone, which makes the water clear but for sore feet unless you buy special swimming shoes. Enough beds and shade provided. Easy walking to shopping and othr hotels?restuarants
- Colin_matei (7/5): Good - Location Food, not really all inclusive
- Dawan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ahmed (5/5): Passable -
- Vika (10/5): Exceptional -
- jamesoS798AD (6/5): 7 day all inclusive - Stayed here with my wife and found the proximity to the beach and town centre just perfect.
The hotel staff were fine and the hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms were cleaned daily.
We spent the first morning by the pool, which was cold and small, so the rest of our stay was spent on the pebble beach which had a small bar that wasn't included in the all-inclusive.
The hotel food was well prepared and presented but not particularly varied so we soon got bored of eating the same thing. The hotel bar served Tuborg lager on tap and non branded vodka and gin with the all-inclusive along with soft drinks. So not much choice really. Cocktails were chargeable.
Hotel WiFi was a chargeable extra too and mostly delivered a very poor and intermittent connection.
During our 7 day stay there were 2 evenings of "entertainment" which just consisted of somebody singing some songs. The neighbouring hotels certainly sounded like they were having a better time most evenings.
- Kamal (7/5): it was good - the location was good, the hotel was clean and the staff were nice. the food was just acceptable, the internet is not for free.
- Amber (8/5): Very good -
- Sinan (9/5): Beautiful location - Nice location, good staff
- Kristaps (8/5): Good stay. - Everything was good..Nothing bad to say.Decent stay. That you have to purchase wi fi separately and if you have to phone or laptops, for each you have to buy wi fi separately, it was only 70 lira for each bur still,I think wi fi should be included..
- Spozhmi (6/5): - Personeel was Top. Alleen de voorzieningen waren slecht
- Iurii (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (4/5): Disappointing -
- Pavel (9/5): Nice place with its own atmosphere - All the staff are so friendly. Nice to stay in such a quiet, cozy place right near the sea.
It is not fresh and new, but it is definitely with its soul and spirit.
- Konstantin76567567 (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and big sized room. Veri good food! Very pleasant staff!
- Maria (10/5): Great hotel close to the sea with amazing food and staff - I really enjoyed my stay at the Viking Nona Beach Hotel!
The food was delicious, very diverse and healthy with many options to choose from. I especially enjoyed dinners with grilled fish, chicken or turkey.
Very attentive and helpful staff. I would like to thank Mehmet who helped me with my transfers, he was very accommodating and attentive to all my requests. Special thanks to Ozgür at the reception. My parents arrived at the hotel late at night when the restaurant was already closed, despite this Ozgür arranged dinner for them.
The beach is super close to the hotel, one minute walk. There are always free spaces for hotel guests because the hotel beach manager Rüstü always makes sure that there are no strangers on the beach. In addition, the beach is very lovely and clean.
This was my second stay at Viking, two years ago I was at Viking Star and I liked it very much as well. I highly recommend it! It was a little bit hot in my room. There was air conditioning in the room, but I don't like to turn it on because I always catch a cold from it. But my parents had a cooler and more comfortable room. I guess for my next stay in a hotel, I will ask stuff for a room not on the sunny side.
- Nawwaf (6/5): the food was very poor - cleanness
family feeling the bed was not comfortable
the air conditioning was old and very noisy
I simply couldn’t sleep well the whole night
- Elena (1/5): Bad - I did not like anything because I was not there. I wanted to cancel my booking but they did not give much time for it. I booked at 2 pm and cancelation worked only until 9 pm. This is unfair for customers. I talked to the owner and he refused refund my money back and still selling my nights, getting double profit. I noticed that if you pay Turkish people for service you will not get back anything. I would not recommend to travel to Turkey at all!
- Lenciauskaite (5/5): Passable - The food is delicious, fresh and well prepared, lots of choices for many tastes.
The location is very nice, city centre is really near however I wouldn't recommend for families with smaller kids because there are lots of parties and if you plan to have passive rest you won't succeed. I didn't like the staff working in the front desk, majority speaks only Russian. On the arrival day we did 't get our room booked in advance even with approved early check in one month ago. The room was changed only after two nights. The same problem was with late checkout, once I have asked (in order just to verify what was confirmed in the booking system in advance), I've got the same respond "It's not possible due to high season".
Air conditioning was working poorly, the door cards had to be re-aligned every 2 days because the cards used to stop locking the doors.
On the top, the hotel is fully focused exceptionally on russians.
- Neshat (10/5): Lovely staff - Lovely atmosphere with nice staff. Good service. Everything so clean, even the staff uniform which they wore at least 12 hours a day. Central location and beach front. I especially want to thank to the clean lady Sungul who cleaned the room so nicely every day, she is also like all the other staff at the hotel so nice and kind. I didn't like the food that much, for me as a vegetarian there wasn't much to choose from, the soup could have been vegetarian at least.
there was no sign on the dishes, so it was a bit difficult to know what was in the food.
- Dmytro (8/5): Very good -
- Przha (8/5): Very good -
- Polina (10/5): just great property to stay!!! - friendly personal, great location, tasty food
- Salman (2/5): Below average hotel, very outdated, springy bed, dusty cupboards, no duvet only a sheet, general staff (cleaners + waite - location (only the location) lady at reception needs to take some customer service lessons, and needs to learn how to
smile more, what a miserable lady! she alone ruined the vibes of the trip from the minute we walked in
- Onur (6/5): - The room was not ready and the service personnel seem to be unattentive.
- Nouran (2/5): Very bad experience - No clean room , no clean bathroom. no working tv , double bed with one small single dirty bad materials blanket. Very basic break fast
- Carol (8/5): - Good: The hotel was clean and the reception staff were very friendly. We had an issue with our heating and the maintenance man responded very quickly. We were able to order takeaway and it was delivered to our room.
Bad: The condition of the hotel is somewhat tired looking. The top bed sheet was very small and didn't cover two adults.
- marika (6/5): - Mysigt strandhotell mitt i stan.
- Verified traveler (8/5): This hotel had good Eid programs - I was in this hotel for three nights. It was pleasurable
