- Debora (10/5): - This is a lovely, family-owned property. Our room was spacious and updated, with a nice bath area and shower amenities. There was a bench large enough for two suitcases and plenty of space to hang clothing, and another area with drawers and a TV. We could see the ocean from our patio table where we had the breakfast that was delivered to our room. It included coffee, juice, fresh blueberry chocolate chip muffins and egg bites. The landscaping was attractive and there was a fire in a firepit near the water with fires in the evenings. We did not have a chance to use the small pool, gym or laundry. The person I chatted with at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. Our stay was perfect!
- Kevin (8/5): great location-poor customer service - The property is amazing-we stayed in an ocean view, however the view was obstructed by trees and bushes, recommend trimming them. Requested an early check in around 2. Arrived early and was told room was not ready. We hung out by the pool and watched housekeeping drive from cabin to cabin cleaning. Called desk again and asked if room was ready, he told us he had no way of contacting housekeeping and they would notify him electronically when ready. (that didn't set a very good tone at all! Poor customer service. We were not impressed. Luckily the room made up for our stay and they property. We would stay again but request an ocean front so the view would be much better. Cabins are really cute and well equipped. Could use dusting though. Breakfast was delivered which is a really nice touch however it wasn't very good. a bread pudding, yogurt cup, coffee and juice.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - The property is fabulous, but I found out that Expedia charged us $60 above the rate we would’ve been charged had I just called the hotel directly. They completely misled us. So do stay here, but don’t use Expedia to book it. We will return in the future and booked directly with the hotel. Also, the hotel delivers breakfast in the morning and it’s delicious! Highly recommend.

- Penny (10/5): Loved Our Stay - We were looking for a location between Portland and Acadia National Park, and settled on the Camden area. We are so glad we did. Glenmore by the Sea was perfect for us! Our little cottage was a perfect home-away-from-home. The setting and landscaping are beautifully maintained. Breakfasts were great and delivered quietly to our door. We got great nights of sleep there due to the quiet atmosphere all around and the comfortable bed. The shower head had the best water pressure of any we have ever encountered--even better than ours here at home! Staff were friendly and helpful. We needed to know a good pizza place and they directed us to a terrific spot. We can't recommend it highly enough!

The room was super clean and had a nice deck to enjoy some needed quiet after all the chaos. I was surprised to be woken up to a super delicious breakfast with a thermos of hot ‘good’ coffee, orange juice, hot egg dish and muffin! Just yummy!!! No time to enjoy the fire pit (& s’mores) offering, or swimming pool, but an early morning walk to the shore below the cabins was enjoyable and refreshing. Brought the family back this year and they were equally impressed! We will be back

Breakfast was fabulous, dropped at the door each more at your specified time. Was able to do a load of laundry when we first arrived. We were early but purchased a bottle of wine in the lobby and sat on the porch while waiting on laundry and room. Very nice staff.

The marshmallows by the fire were amazing the staff always had such a huge smile on their faces (how could they not they live in the most gorgeous place!) the pool is super clean and fairly warm. Be sure to back bug spray I was bit a few times, also the internet is a little bit unstable but we were still able to watch movies.. Overall, I want to return every year!

- darla (8/5): - PROS: lovely property. Helpful, friendly staff. Great location between Camden(5 min)and Belfast(15 min) and 90 minutes from bar harbor and Acadia. Fabulous, delivered to your door breakfast such as frittata, the best blueberry muffin we’ve ever had and a pot of coffee, fruit. CONS: Expedia and/or the facility do not accurately describe the location of the cabin you’re renting. They list all cabins as waterfront or water view. In fact the property is on a cliff over the beach( which is completely filled with non walkable( at least for most people over 40) large rocks. There are 4 levels of cabins staggered closest to the cliff which all have a good view of the ocean. You can’t hear the waves well past level 2 but they charge the same price for all of these I believe. Then there is a level of cabins way up on a hill where you only see a Longview of the ocean. The property is steep so if you’re on the top level , walking to the beach even to sit on the cliff deck would be difficult for most seniors or those with any type of health or mobility issues. The price difference for all the cabins is small so it’s impossible to know which cabin is closest to the water. The cabins are small. We had a one bedroom which is actually a studio. The bed faces the front window and ocean. The bathrooms are in SERIOUS a need of updating. The sink drains very slowly, there’s mildew behind the toilet and a cheap tub has ingrained grime in the bottom. Mattress great. Microwave and tiny frig

The staff was wonderful and friendly. The breakfast delivery was a neat idea but it was very light on portions. The inside of the room was clean and tidy but the outside deck and chairs was dirty and messy and needed swept and wiped down.

Short walk to property owned rock beach to watch sunrise. Also have fire pit some nights. Only 5 minutes to downtown Camden and 1 min to Camden hills state park

- Lani (10/5): Love it! - Loved the location! We stayed in the Oceanview cottages. The views were great and we loved the cottage. Breakfast was amazing. They brought it to our cottage each morning. There are many things for families to do here. Would definitely stay here again.

- Krystle (10/5): - Absolutely wonderful. We traveled with our 2 and 5 year old. A pirate ship play structure was right outside our door. This allowed for us parents to it on the deck and relax and watch the kids play. Smores at night around the campfire and plenty of recreational activities around the property. Our breakfast was homemade and dropped off with a carafe of hot coffee daily. It was truly a space to relax and enjoy Maine.

Didn’t have a chance to use all the amenities but the breakfasts were the nicest I’ve ever had at a motel before! Homemade, creative, healthy and delicious. Wonderful to walk down the the water. Nice towels and bedding. Wine for sale was added bonus. Really great place, I hope to return in the future.
