Guest Reviews
- Fnu (10/5): - Loved staying there with family. Highly recommended.
- Ladan (2/5): - Dirty carpets with lots of dirty spots. Smelly rooms. Even the water in the pool looks not clear. Not only there is no option for food or breakfast, they don't even offer the available coffee to guests. Just a small bar of soap was provided to take shower.
- amanda (10/5): - Summit was great place for families
- Debbie (10/5): - The check in with Debbie was beyond incredible! The room was super clean and the property just beautiful. We have stayed here year and year and it nevers disappoints!
- Lisa (10/5): - Close to the venue and very nice place
- Linda G. (6/5): - All in all the room serviced our needs but it’s dark inside and could use a paint job and furniture update. We could not operate the TV’s in any of the rooms. Very frustrating. The front door doesn’t latch from inside. Otherwise staff was very friendly and the room was clean.
- Pamela (10/5): - Nice wooded area.
- Brian (10/5): - rooms were huge & great
- Rony (10/5): - Keep doing like that 😊
- Lisa (8/5): - Little bit dated but very clean and people were very accommodating!
- Linda (8/5): - Very clean bedding great great stay.
- Susan (6/5): - Disappointed with my suite. Some of the bulbs were burnt out, the shower knob fell off in the tub, stains on the rugs, blinds were broken, tv worked intermittently, cabinets in the kitchen were broken. Not well taken care of at all.
- Kaitlyn (10/5): - We love the summit resort. The amenities such as the pool, game room, and outdoor space is great. The one negative is the 200.00 hold on our card. I thought that was a bit excessive for one night. However, the property is beautiful, spacious, and offers great amenities.
- Terry (8/5): Nice Stay Overall - Stayed in one of the condo spaces. Plenty of space. Some of the furnishings were outdated and worn. It was comfortable and quiet. One room with king bed and access to covered deck. One room with two twin beds. Overall clean but a sort of run down feel. The indoor pool area was great. Small slides, kiddie pool, sauna and hot tub. Nice poolside lounge. Some activities in the game room like ping pong, fooseball, etc. Outdoor activities were just ok. Tennis court and basketball were not well maintained but still useable. Very close to grocery stores and the iconic Weirs Beach area.
- Yelena (10/5): - Loved the indoor pool and hot tub. It was great for the kids. Located was great too.
- Odyssey54593485538 (10/5): Great unit, lots of driving - Not a lot to do in Laconia after the first day but the unit is nice. Modern appliances, clean, roomy enough for 4 people comfortably, Really nice indoor pool with slides and hot tub. Nice outdoor pool if the weather is warm enough. About an hour drive from Lexington/Concord, Boston, Manchester Airport, 45 minutes to Mount Washington Cog Railway. I would definitely stay in the condo again because it was a nice unit, but we experienced about everything the area has to offer so we probably won't be back. Biker week is mid June, so think Sturgis - 120,000 fun seeking bikers around Weirs Beach area. We just missed it (darn).
- MARK (8/5): - It was nice
- Jon (10/5): - Everything was great.
- Mary (10/5): - Was clean and the pool was great
- Rebecca (2/5): More like an HOA than a vacation - It felt like I was staying at an HOA neighborhood instead of a hotel. Received a binder full or rules and was required to throw out our own trash in the dumpsters. The room was very out of date and the bedding was dirty! The freezer had items left in it from the last people who stayed. The only good thing was how spacious the room was. You have to sign in to use the pool and be ready for it to be rowdy as they have a bar that serves alcohol right there
- Brian (10/5): - It was amazing! Great rooms! Great views! Great pool
- mysterdee (6/5): NO HANDICAP ACCESS. IN REC. AREAS - THE RESORT WAS VERY NICE BUT NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY NO ACCESSABILITY TO POOL, JACUZZI, PING PONG, GAME ROOM HAD 18 STAIRS AND NO ELEVATOR OUTDOOR POOL NO CLOSE PARKNG ETC. THEY HAVE A LIFT IN THE POOL AREA SO PEOPLE WITH DISSABILITIES CAN GET IN POOL??? BUT HAS NOT BEEN WORKING FOR 6 YEARS ACCORDING TO STAFF.
- 804eldah (10/5): Best in the area - The resort is very nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This is going to be my go to place at least yearly.
The place is very clean and the workers are hard working people. Thank you! I love my stay! Very nice and relaxing area. I am going to tell my friends.
- Susan (8/5): - I liked how close it was to many things. The room was somewhat outdated, run down and sparse.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fun and relaxing - I stayed here for 4 days, 3 nights with my son and my best friend. The whole unit was nice and clean and organized well and had everything you can think of needing while being away. Stocked serve ware, silverware, laundry and dishwasher detergent. I was pleasantly surprised! We had so much fun at the playground and even made new friends. We also enjoyed the pool two nights in a row and had so much fun going down the water slide and enjoying the hot tub and different areas of the pool ! We will absolutely be back !! Best place I’ve ever stayed at.
- Deborah (10/5): - Room was clean and comfortable. Pool area was also very clean and all staff were very friendly and attentive. Great first time stay for us
- Marie flore (10/5): - The summit was great! My family had a blast there. It was snowing while we were there but that didn't change anything. I love how quickly the front desk sent help when we called. Everyone there was super friendly. We will definitely go back.
- voyagerstoo (10/5): Summit resort - Spacious units, good views, nice staff, good pool area, off season is a good time to travel. Staff was very helpful
- Traveler2585 (8/5): Wonderful February Vacation Spot! Great Pool! - My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids), stayed at The Summit during February school vacation week. I requested a top floor because I was worried about noise and the hotel honored the request which was great! I didn't realize that the stairwell was exterior so we had to go up and down the stairs in the cold/with snow on the walkways. It wasn't a big deal just something to keep in mind if you're staying in the winter or on a stormy day.
Room:
The room was spacious. We stayed in 211, which was top floor, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. As others have mentioned, the room could use an updating with the carpets and furniture, but overall, it was clean and roomy enough for a family of 5. My son said the pullout couch was a bit firm but he slept ok on it - probably wouldn't be great for an adult. One weird thing was the dresser drawers. They wouldn't shut! All of the dresser drawers in the place were open all the time. Note that there was no housekeeping, and you have to bring your towels to the front desk if you want new ones. To avoid this, we just used the in-unit washer/dryer to wash our towels. One weird thing is that the room had a strange smell that came in through the bathroom. It wasn't a bad sewage smell but smelled like cooking turkey. We kept joking that our neighbors must be cooking a turkey dinner. The smell permeated the whole room each day and made our clothing smell.
Property: Because there was so much snow on the ground, we didn't walk around the property much. It looks like they have a nice playground with an outdoor pool. I'd like to come back in the summer to make full use of the amenities. We did visit the farm next door for snow shoeing and that was fun! As others mentioned, there's no restaurant on-site so we went to the local grocery store to pick up snacks and ate at nearby restaurants.
Lodge:
The main lodge was great. There is a racquetball room, a gym, a (very) small arcade, a ping-pong table, coloring pages for kids, books, a small store, and a pool with a bathroom/changing area. My kids loved the pool every day. It was nice to sit inside, enjoying the pool area while the outside looked like a winter wonderland. There are two slides, one for smaller children that's very slow and one for bigger kids/adults. There's a Roman hot tub that fits about 20 people. We have no complaints about the condition of the pool and hot tub, but it would be nice to have a staff member supervise the area as many teenagers were climbing up the slides, jumping in and out of the hot tub, and bringing drinks into the hot tub. (Or it'd be nice if parents supervised!) The pool area also has a little bar where you can get alcoholic or fun non-alcoholic drinks. We loved our time at the pool.
Staff:
All of the staff members were so nice! From check-in to those who were clearing and shoveling the walkways to the lady working at the bar, everyone we interacted with was pleasant, kind and smiled at us.
Location:
The location is awesome. Close to Gunstock for skiing and tubing, Funspot arcade, Kellerhaus for ice cream, and lots of restaurants. If you're there in the summer Weirs Beach is just minutes away.
Overall, we had a great stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The pool was awesome, and the staff was A+. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!
- Faith (10/5): - We love going here multiple times a year
- BostonCarryonbag (8/5): Our late winter ski getaway - We've stayed at The Summit many times for our late winter family ski trip. This place brings back memories as I remember when it was built. My family owned a home directly next door and often walked through the property enjoying the peaceful setting. The units are very spacious and the overall condition of the property is very good. It could use a slight refresh, but I find this to be very typical of the time share resort industry. The location offers options for activities in every season and is convenient to food, drink, shopping, sightseeing, etc.
- Rached (10/5): Fun family friendly - Great hotel for families. Self service slides at the pool and a little bar window in the pool area that the front desk staff service. The room (2 bedroom condo) was upgraded, nice, large and clean.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Love it! - We loved this place and had an excellent stay! Would definitely come back.
- Eric (8/5): - We were looking for a quiet winter getaway... Summit was the right choice.
- melissa (10/5): Great hideaway! Well worth the price! - I booked this place for my two older children and myself and it is such a cute place! We had a full kitchen, two seperate bedrooms and two bathrooms, which comes in handy. Its in a quiet area with no traffic noise. I just want to give a heads up that there are no elevators, so if anyone is physically impaired, make sure you request a first floor. The pool and hot tub were both very clean and the pool water was very nice. I've been to my fair share of hotels and resorts in New England and this is one of my favorites!
- Camille (10/5): - Very well furnished kitchenette, super clean et aondinneoth thenpools
- danielleq2014 (8/5): Great, clean place - Great place to stay! My husband and I took our two boys aged 5 and 10 this past weekend. We got home today. Everyone was friendly and the service was great, the rooms were clean and the pool was nice. We will definitely return here in the future. The only thing that’s lacking is a restaurant. I understand that we have a full kitchen, but sometimes you just don’t feel like cooking when you’re on vacation. The town lacks any good options. We had pizza that my kids said was the worst pizza they ever had and I had haddock from a different place that was super dry. There is a Walmart nearby, so that’s what we did and picked some things up.
We had an incident where kids were bouncing a ball over my head when I was sleeping and it woke me up, I just asked that they make mention to the parents so it doesn’t happen again. We had a very good experience and my reason for 4 stars is just the lack of food!
- Alison (10/5): - We had a great one night stay at the Summit. It was helpful to know from other reviews that there was no dining on the property. The pool area has a limited number of tables which are assigned when you check in which is helpful in keeping the space from being crowded. The staff was very friendly and happy to assist with our broken TV remote. Winter is tough with freezing and ice and maintenance did a good job of salting and sanding but that makes it difor housekeeping as salt and sand get into the rooms making a mess. There is not much of an entryway for taking off shoes but a great rack to hang up jackets. We ate out so I am unsure of the kitchen in terms of a review. Great amount of space for the price and exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend.
- Rhonda (10/5): - Roomy and updated accommodations. Comfortable beds. Great hot tub in center. Mountain View.
- Donna (8/5): wheelchair access rooms very l specific/nopoolacc. - well we had a big problem with non-handicap room, room was below the parking lot then stairs, we did get him in room first night, but the staff accommodated us to move to handicap room on parking level with no stairs, Another issue is the beautiful pool area, no matter how you access it there are two sets of 4-5 stairs no wheelchair, or walker access, it does have pool lift but it was broken,My brother came to visit so we just lifted our son to get in and out of the pool,Again staff tried there best to accomadate.
- kathyV5916EU (10/5): Summit Resort - We recently stayed at the Summit Resort we had a lovely two bedroom unit on the second floor. We were very pleased with our unit it was clean and well looked after. The staff was very friendly and helpful.Would definitely recommend to everyone.
- annab935 (10/5): Beautiful property - It was a lovely resort with clean spacious condos. The indoor pool was wonderful. It was surrounded by homes and beautiful trees.
- 322bernadettef (10/5): Perfect Location - The stay was wonderful. Perfect location. Quiet and after we checked in we were left alone to enjoy our vacation. Very clean room and loved the generous supply of towels. The view from the main building porch was stunning. The pool and the locker room was very well maintained.
- rproyce (10/5): review - Very satisfied with the overall resort; All of the staff were extremely helpful .I would certainly return again.
- rlacr0ix (10/5): Nice location, and great indoor pool area - The property is conveniently situated just minutes from Weirs Beach, with a wide range of dining and shopping options nearby. The indoor pool area boasts a poolside bar, a large jacuzzi, and small waterslides for children.
- tshell223 (10/5): Great Property & Location - Our first visit to Laconia and Lake Winnipesaukee, and the Summit resort did not disappoint. We were close to Weirs Beach and many places to eat and sightsee. Units were private and ours exterior was freshly re-stained. Looked great inside and out.
- R1044RVwilliams (4/5): Nice place warm pool might want to teach whoever takes the reservations what rooms are actually next to each other - Asked for rooms next to each other since my wife is handicapped during the booking of the room. When we arrived they said the rooms were next to each other which is correct but they were in separate buildings so we had to go down two flights of stairs and then up two flights of stairs to get to our grand childrens room we called desk they said nothing they could do about it so ruined the vacation also no frying pans in room 308 so we could not cook breakfast the pool was good but wife didn't enjoy the vacation much because of all the stairs
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Smelly room. Dated facility. Exhaust fan in the bathroom sounds like a airplane engine. Fooled by the 9/10 rating on hotel.com
- Debbie (10/5): - Before the pandemic, we stayed here a few times and enjoyed it. We decided to try again this week. What a pleasant surprise to stay in a totally updated 2 bedroom unit. Wow! Super impressed with the Summit. Super quiet at night, beautifully taken care of resort and close to so many fun things. 5 stars!!!
- 654marcial (10/5): Home away from home - Roomy accommodations that felt like home. Not handicapped accessible. Jacuzzi tub and stand up shower in 2 bedroom unit. Laundry in unit. The unit we rented could use some upkeep. Several blinds were inoperable. Kitchen minimally furnished for cooking. Ample dish and silverware.
- Jason (8/5): - We stayed at the resort for three nights and had a very nice stay. Only recommendation is they should shampoo the carpets in the rooms or change to hard floors instead of carpet. The room had a musty odor.
Also, if there are guests staying in a room above you it will be likely you will hear them walking around.
- Mary Anne (6/5): - The dis disposable was broken. They did not have any coffee, pods, nothing . It was pretty limited and the front staff while friendly at check in, not pleasant at all the next day
I will just go back to church landing .
- Tom (8/5): - Staff was super friendly! Units were very clean and spacious but did have a stale odor. Pool was fun and clean. Ground were very well kept
- Briand (10/5): The Summit is Super Nice - We had a wonderful time. The suit was spacious and had a super nice kitchen with a full complement of cooking gear. We went swimming in the indoor pool and had the whole place to ourselves…a treat! The outdoor pool was nice but a bit beat up and COLD. However, the best view of the lake is from there. The staff were warm and supportive. Little things, like getting us a high chair, were nice touches.
- Brett (10/5): - Phelina at the front desk was absolutely amazing and very nice. We will be back in the future
- Anca (4/5): - The place is very old and not maintained at all. The laundry washer was full of fungus inside. The dishwasher full of dirty dishes. Weird vibe. In the bathroom the sealing was falling off from flooding upstairs. It was not repaired. I didn't enjoy the stay.
- Matthew (10/5): - Property was good. I wish they used a bio-based ink and toner for their printers. They claim to be eco-conscious, but they are not using bio-based toner for their printers. Hopefully they look into it after this review! I believe the largest manufacturer of these is in NH!
- Kimberly (10/5): - We love the summit. So easy last minute. Perfect for kids and families.
- johndJ347GO (8/5): Great exchange in off season. 2nd visit. - Our unit was 2 BR, 2 bath. Unit was very large, well furnished and nice and clean. Kitchen adequately equipped. There was a TV problem caused by a previous guest which they corrected in short order. Free WiFi. There is a great pool and hot tub area and exercise room but we did not use them. Buildings are 3 stories and NO elevators. Last trip we got 2nd floor. This time first floor as requested but they go overboard saying "no promises" when you book. We are in our later 70s so this is an issue. We visited places my ancestors came from, and spent time with friends. Location is great n this area. Off season fall or spring is an excellent time to go here when it's nice and quiet.
- Kristina (10/5): - Such a nice unit will definitely return in the future.
- IvyLeichtman (10/5): Great Family Resort - Let me start with the fact that I very much enjoyed my stay here. The cons are that this place looks like it was decorated in 1991 and the color scheme hasn't changed since, plus certain parts need a fresh coat of paint. (These are things I couldn't care less about might matter to someone else.) The pros are that rooms are clean and comfortable with a decently well stocked kitchen. The staff is incredibly friendly and the amenities are great. In particular, the indoor pool with Tiki Bar is amazing. I also loved the surrounding area, with lots family friendly things to do. It is for families though, so not my first pick for an adults only vacation. However, I will definitely come again!
- Colleen (10/5): - Great location near music venue
- Florentina Georgia (10/5): - The resort is excellent, the staff is very caring and nice, we will be back! The area is very nice.
- Voeun (10/5): - An excellent location for children with convenient access to Weir Beach and Mount Washington Cruise and train rides. The facility offers a grill, outdoor pool, and a fantastic water slide in the indoor pool. The rooms are exceptionally clean.
- Marilyn (10/5): - pool for the kids
- Keysa (8/5): - I loved that the property is like a 2 bed 2 bath apartment type .The family can be in different areas of the “apartment” not like most hotel rooms that everyone needs to be in the “bedroom” all at the same time if that makes sense. The kitchen and dining table is very convenient for large groups staying multiple nights. The balcony is a plus for extra space to seat and relax! The gas grill and picnic table is also available and great to have. The older kids loved the outdoor fire pit area but complained about basketball court and hoop conditions, they would’ve liked the bean bags were available to play or a ball to play volleyball. They also complained about the internet service but to me wasn’t that bad. The staff at front desk are lovely but some other staff members around the area weren’t as nice. Overall I loved this place and definitely will return! Highly recommended!
- Mukroc (8/5): Great Amenities. Great Location. - For a rather small resort, it has lots of amenities. Indoor and out door pool, hot tub, game room, bar, tennis and basketball court, barbecue grills, corn hole and horseshoes, sauna and fitness room. The rooms are in good shape and the grounds are well maintained. There are tons of thing to do in the area within a short ride, and Weirs Beach is right down the hill from the resort. They also kept the main building open for the fourth of July Fireworks over Weirs Beach. We had a great view from the top deck. Our main issue was with the wifi. It never really worked, and we spoke with the front desk, who said they would look into it, but it never improved. We also would lose the signal on the Direct TV box, and would need to unplug it and reset it. And the hot tub had way too much chlorine in it. We all had irritated and burning eyes after both times we used it.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely consider returning.
- gohuskers2222 (8/5): Great Resort - I loved our stay at the Summit. The pool is super fun and the kids loved the slides. The area is beautiful and they have a nice view from the pool balcony.
- Christopher (10/5): - First time visiting the property. We will definitely being returning not year.
- KarenGReno (8/5): Summit Resort Laconia NH - Check in -fast & easy. We didn’t use any of the facilities so I cannot comment on them.
We had a 2 bedroom unit on the 2nd floor. The buildings are all 2 or 3 stories and none have an elevator so be aware of that if stairs are an issue for you. We were in building 2 which backs towards Paugus Bay (which cannot be seen because of the trees). But, the trees were nice to see and made it feel private. And they effectively blocked noise from Weirs Blvd below.
There was a large coat closet with boom, mop & small vacuum if needed. The 2nd bedroom had 2 twin beds, 1 nightstand, 1 dresser & a small closet. It had its own bath with shower. Also in this bathroom was a stacking washer/dryer. We were pleasantly surprised there was a w/d and were glad to have it. The placement is just a bit awkward the way the enclosing doors and the doors of the w/d themselves opened. But it was workable.
There was a L shaped kitchen with plenty of counter space and dishes/glassware/silverware. There were 3 pots of various sizes and 2 frying pans (12” I would guess). None were non stick. There was a toaster, electric can opener, tea kettle, some mixing type bowls & an assortment of cooking utensils. There were lots of steak knives but only a couple of other cooking knives. There was a broiler pan & cookie sheet. The full sized fridge had 2 ice cubes trays which we appreciated having. The electric range and microwave worked well. All in all decently equipped. There is also a bbq for guests to use just outside.
Further in was the large dining table & there are also 3 barstools at the kitchen counter. Then the living room with a 3 person couch, 2 easy chairs and a fireplace. The furniture was pretty comfortable. Beyond that was a balcony with a table and 4 chairs overlooking the forest.
Beside the living room was the master suite with a king sized bed, 2 night stands, one dresser, one easy chair and a closet. The attached bath had one sink and a shower over a large oval soaking tub. Good water pressure.
In general, the decor was a little dated. But it was clean and well maintained.
Things we didn’t like (minor) - the dresser drawers didn’t stay shut and one of the twin beds had the bed rails poking out. We didn’t use it so it didn’t matter but it would have been dangerous for a child. When we mentioned it to them they immediately knew what we were talking about and had worked on it prior to our arrival. They thought it was fixed and we’re going back to check on it.
- Keysa (8/5): - Feels cozy and homey, has everything you need very convenient location.. a lot of entertainment options inside the property can accommodate a big group!! I definitely recommend it!
- Kimberly (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful property. Clean, quiet, safe, a lot to do. Condo was spacious. Pool and hot tub were amazing. Scenery was awesome. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I feel so fortunate to have stayed here.
- Karissa (10/5): - That you had your own suite and own deck. Everything was clean and neat they supplied dishes soap sponge and laundry detergent plus dishwashing stuff. Overall 10/10 recommend very pleased.
- Emiliano (10/5): - Es un buen lugar excelente
- Cassandra (4/5): - The property was nice and staff was very friendly. However I was not aware that all of the amenities would be unavailable during the course of our stay. It was only expressed that the pool was under construction not the entire amenities building. We were offered use of their sister resort but that was 25-30 minutes in the opposite direction we had other activities planned for our stay. There was said to be a fireplace and when we got there found out it was for ambiance only but did not function at all even for ambiance it didn't light up at all. I loved the space of the room and the grounds were nice but with no available amenities we were forced to head out for the evening instead of having any possible entertainment on property. Had some of the amenities been available this wouldn't have been so bad.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Will definitely come back again
- David (10/5): - The rooms were very spacious. We loved the indoor pool with jacuzzi. It’s also few minutes driving distance from the beach and boardwalk and train
- Craig (10/5): - Excellent experience. Room was bigger than my first apartment.
- Adilson (8/5): - Wonderful and clean place.
However, they charged $200.00 twice (total $400.00). And they didn't return it.
- andreia (10/5): - We loved everything, my family and I will be back soon
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect! - We enjoyed indoor pool and games. The room was big and comfy. The view was also nice!
- Katie (10/5): - Overall our stay was very nice. One issue we did come across was the trim to the front door into the condo was coming off the wall. It was the piece that the door safety latch was attached to. So it you opened the door and the latch was secured, it would pull the trim off. It led to a bit of a safety concern since we are not familiar with the area. We did tell the front desk so they are aware. It looks like it was fixed multiple times but only with caulk so not co.pletely fixed and it tells me they know about it.
- Terrie (8/5): Better lighting at night - Our stay was nice. The only complaint would be better lighting in the parking lot in section 4. When you first turn in lot 3 there was good lighting then when going further to lot 4 which was in the back it was dark, the only lighting was on the building going into your rooms not in the parking lot area.
- Victor (10/5): - Clean,quiet and beautiful veiws.
- David (8/5): - The pool that your kids will rave about! We had so much fun at the local restaurants and beaches, but our kids ensured we came home each night to swim at the resort. With two slides and a massive hot tub, there was something for everyone and it never felt crowded.
- Todd (10/5): - It was a very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay!
- Amber (8/5): - The staff were amazing, as was the indoor pool area with water slides. We really appreciated the large size of our unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. While we would certainly stay there again, we would like to see some changes for the high price paid:
The mattresses are horribly uncomfortable and lumpy and for what is labeled a 4 star property asking $500/night, the mattresses MUST BE replaced with something high quality. It is clear the mattresses are extremely worn and old. Hotel and rental properties should replace mattresses every few years considering the use they get.
The kitchen floor was absolutely filthy. While the kitchen counters and the rest of the unit had been cleaned and dusted, the kitchen floor was sticky and dirty. The dishes were also filmy and we had to hand wash them. It seemed the dishwasher did not do a sufficient job cleaning many of the dishes we unloaded from a "cleaned" cycle.
The furniture and decor is dated, which we actually thought was fun and met the "Great Outdoors" late 80s/early 90s vacation vibe, but, it truly needs to be steam cleaned. The upholstery was dirty, and one of the sitting chairs and floor lamps were broken.
They provided gas grills outside, which was great, but no heavy duty grilling utensils or grilling non stick spray...so we had to buy the grill spray and made do with a tiny pair of metal tongs...when we really needed a heavy duty metal bbq set at our disposal.
Make the necessary updates, to match the price paid.
- Carmen (6/5): - Liked the pools and the playground for the kids
- Joann (10/5): - The property was beautiful, the amenties of indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and bar were excellent. Staff went above and beyond to assist during our stay. Highly recommend!
- Jean (8/5): - We liked that it was away from the town center, but close enough to get there easily and quickly.
The property was very nice but little sound proofing between rooms (upper and lower levels). Was noisy with children running and jumping above us at all hours.
- Wayne (10/5): - We took our two grandkids who loved the indoor pool, the table tennis and the racquet ball court. Having their own bedroom and bathroom allowed them privacy, while the grandparents felt secure having them under the same roof.
- Laura (6/5): - The only reason I cannot give a great review is because the beds are ridiculously firm and uncomfortable. If we were to stay longer than the two days I feel we would have had to leave early because my husband was not sleeping well due to the terrible mattress. The beds need to be upgraded they are not comfortable at all. The basketball tennis/courts need to be be repaired and the basketball net back board was bent making it difficult for my son to shoot hoops. The pools are very nice and well kept along with the grounds. The two bedroom condo was amazingly spacious and had a very nice large outside balcony. Bathrooms were clean and updated. Appliances were in great condition. Close to Weirs Beach and shops. Very convenient location. Staff were very nice and professional. If you don’t care about comfortable beds then I highly recommend. If you cannot sleep on the firmest mattress you can imagine this place is not for you.
- Ryan (8/5): - Not a bad stay. Week before
Bike week, a lot of restaurants closed. Early morning construction woke everyone up around 6
- Erin (10/5): - Perfect place, clean and easy to find. Would definitely come back!
- Jessica (10/5): - The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was so clean and the size of a small apartment with a full kitchen, dishes, pans, even soap for dishes. The pool was warm and so clean! Hot tub and sauna were in excellent condition. This facility exceeded my expectations! I will be back again!
- Val (10/5): - Sweet suite! It suited us perfectly.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Walkways and balconies were in state of decay, furnitishungs were old stained, carpet was stained . The bathrooms were done over and clean but overall the pictures were not updated and our first impression was to find the c onfirmation to see if this was indeed the hotel we paid for. I 've paid less for a delux room at Disney .....disappointing.
- Terry (10/5): - Fantastic indoor pool, large fully equipped units, convenient to Weirs Beach, hiking trails. Great family adventure!!
- Kimberly (10/5): - great staff! awesome pool area. clean. great value for money
- Joanna (6/5): - The actual room itself had extremely dirty couches that looked very gross and old. King bed was okay in the room but the two twin beds were broken and bending inwards. Outdoor and indoor pools were good and overall outdoor property was very nice. Close driving distance to Weirs beach but not walkable.
