• MikisVilnius (10/5): Nice stay - Cozy hotel in historical monastery.Room and bathroom was big and nicely decorated.Really helpful and nice personal especially the hostess and reception lady.We got the possibility to taste outstanding locally produced wine.Good location of the hotel-less than half hour by car from Bergamo airport. Waze navigation didn't show final way to the hotel, thanks to hotel personal who provided exact tips how to drive.

• MARCELLA (6/5): un soggiorno particolare in una antica dimora. - La colazione molto semplice e mancava il pane però ho avuto una spremuta senza problemi. Personale gentile. Si tratta di una antica dimora e quando si prenota è evidente. Quindi niente frigo in camera ma acqua a volontà in corridoio sia calda che fredda. Magari sostituirei le vecchie coperte in lana anni '60 con piumoni, forse anche più igienici. Va precisato bene che non è adatto per persone disabili o che faticano a fare scale. Non vi è servizio di bagagli in camera ma un montacarichi che sale solo di un piano.

En effet l établissement avait fermé les réservations en vue d une Beach party le 15 Août. Du coup, on était seul pour profiter de la piscine, du parc et seul au p’tit déj…. Superbe lieu et cadre. Ce lieu est atypique et est surtout pour accueillir des grands banquets . Du coup le petit déjeuner était franchement pas 😢. Même pas de vrais pains. On a eu du pain de mie type Pasquier mais bon le reste était super.
• Dolors (1/5): - The building with its rich history and unique situation is truly exceptional. The reception staff were kind and nice people. Two days prior to our arrival, we were informed that a 'Christmas' Pool Party was scheduled for August 15th from 2 pm to 10 pm. Given that our booked room was a Junior Suite with pool views, we called to inquire if the music would be audible inside our room during the party, as we will need to rest and it is the reason to choose this special hotel. The staff assured us that our comfort would be assured, so we decided to keep the booking. However, upon arrival at 6 pm, the music was still loud enough to be heard inside our room, even with the windows closed. The disco music was intense, in front of our room. Additionally, the staff informed us that the party would likely run until around 11 pm to 11:30 pm. We requested to cancel our booking for the night, and after some strange and difficult discussion with the proprietary, she finally refund us, in cash, and discounting 40€ for “booking fee”. After cancellation at 8 pm, we must to find a new hotel in the area to rest for that night after our long and tired car journey.

• Silvia (9/5): Un gioiello millenario - Abbiamo scoperto un piccolo gioiello, il lavoro di restauro e manutenzione dell'intero castello riunisce una struttura millenaria con un giusto ammodernamento che rende il castello comodo e fruibile. La stanza assegnata è grande, comoda ed esteticamente bellissima. La struttura millenaria è tenuta perfettamente ma qualche compromesso è necessario. Nelle stanze non è disponibile la aria condizionata e nelle caldissime notti estive aprir le finestre potrebbe non essere sufficiente.

• Milena (9/5): The full castle experience with a modern twist:) - Stunning castle with beautiful grounds and lovely pool area. Loved my historic palace room and the beautiful courtyard! Wonderful, helpful staff. I was allowed to stay on the grounds and use the pool for as long as I wanted after check out and then the chef himself gave me a ride to the train station. Thank you for this amazing friendliness! The restaurant is in a modern, upscale style and didn’t quite match the feel of the castle for me. The menu was very limited and the food was good but not as good as I hoped.
• Lorenzo (9/5): Splendid hilltop monastery, Calm and full of charm - This property is unique: this is a Splendid, charm-packed, 1000 year old frescoed monastery perched atop a vineyard covered hill ! The view stretches far far away. Total Calm and quietness... we were nearly alone in this big castle, big pool, beautiful garden. (There were no parties/ events during our stay) The few ladies who take care of the place are super adorable and willing to help. The Suite "Beatrice" is vast, gorgeous and perfect for families as it has a second room with space for several children beds. The large beautiful Pool and gardens ! It looks like the pictures. Finally a few points that were pointed out in negative reviews but we did not find them negative: yes, the drive is steep but totally fine on 1st gear. there is no wifi (we had phone network) there is no elevator (but the ladies insist on helping with the luggage) The restaurant on site was closed during our stay (early august) One general information : This is not a hotel with a reception. it is more like a wedding venue that does Bed & Breakfast. There are a few ladies on site and you are given a phone number to reach them since the place is big.

Geen airconditioning in de kamers en geen lift (wel logisch in zo'n gebouw) dus zwaar sjouwen met koffers. Het restaurant was gesloten op maandag. Wel goed advies gekregen voor alternatieven in de buurt. En nog een heerlijk wijntje van eigen productie kunnen bestellen compleet geserveerd met kaasjes, charcuterie etc. Heel gastvrij.

No facilities, no other guests, very run down. - It was unacceptable accommodation due to temperature of the room, no fridge, no air con, no WiFi, no restaurant, no sun beds, no parasols, dirty pool, no other guests, pool party on Fridays for external guests on arrival told that the noise might go on until 1.00 or 2.00 am. The journey to the accommodation is very tricky and not for the faint of heart. The staff tried their best, it wasn’t their fault, the accommodation is just very run down. I would recommend to anyone. Everything!!! The heat in room in particular was horrendous. Not even a fridge or fan in the room. Guest comfort was not considered. Could not stay, we left even though we had prepaid, it was terrible.

Alsof je terug gaat in de tijd Er was een private pool party georganiseerd op een van de dagen dat wij er verbleven. Dit was nogal overweldigend, 250 jongeren en een DJ precies voor ons raam. Men had ons op z’n minst even kunnen informeren, en de ingehuurde verkeersregelaars ook. We konden tot 4 keer toe uitleggen dat we hotelgasten waren. Daarnaast konden de peuken de volgende dag zelf uit het water van het zwembad vissen. Daarnaast geen wifi, warme kamer, zeer beperkt ontbijt en personeel wat amper Engels kan communiceren. Had als wijn liefhebber hogere verwachting(kasteel met eigen wijngaard), hier werd geen aandacht aan besteed. Misschien dat we een slechte week hadden gekozen maar al met al zeer teleurstellend.

• Andrej (10/5): Человек, который ценит историю, оценит и это место. - Мне понравилось всё! Во первых вид с этого места, во вторых история этого замка, ЗАМКА! Если вы хотите обычных номеров то ищите другие отели, а ценители истории реально оценят этот отель, нам номер попался старинный, так мы были в восторге от увиденного! Также бассейн есть и причем огромный! Он достаточно глубокий чтобы прыгать в него (чаще всего в отелях они маленькие) так как мы жили одни, мы могли наслаждаться каждым уголком этого отеля. Вай-фай рабочий есть. Еда как и во всех остальных итальянских отелей одинаковая, поэтому жаловаться, что еда плохая глупо и не разумно, поинтересуйтесь сперва как итальянцы живут и тд. В общем отель стоит своих денег и мы обязательно сюда вернемся. А те, кто жалуются - езжайте в 5 звездочный отель за 1000€ где вам будут и завтраки и кондиционеры ;) Все понравилось, не могу жаловаться
• Paola (10/5): piccola fuga da Milano - La tenuta ha un meraviglioso affaccio sui vigneti. Abbiamo assaggiato anche il loro vino..squisito! La dimora è molto elegante e curata. I gestori sono ottimi padroni di casa, molto attenti a soddisfare ogni esigenza del cliente. Non avevamo la colazione inclusa nel pacchetto acquistato eppure al mattino ci hanno fatto trovare un sacchettino con brioche, acqua e frutta. Splendida la zona della piscina con affaccio sui vigneti. La stanza enorme con un bagno lussuoso. Da ritornarci. Ambiente fine.

Il posto è spettacolare, panorama super ,silenzio assordante e suoni della natura…perfetto per una fuga da quotidianità e frenesia di tutti i giorni .. una calma impagabile. Perfetto per staccare la spina. Proprio quello che serviva a noi. Ci ritorneremo.

Non vale i soldi spesi. - La posizione è magnifica e unica, così come il castello, ben tenuto e affascinante. La colazione pessima e insufficiente. Piccole brioche fredde, nutella vecchia e mezza secca. Chiesto un macchiatone e ricevuto un bicchierone di caffelatte. Forse la cameriera non sa cos'è o non sono in grado di prepararlo, ma poteva avvisarci e avremmo optato per un'altra cosa. Colazione forse nemmeno degna di un due stelle.

Purtroppo non siamo stati avvisati dell'assenza temporanea del bar e nelle camere non c'era il frigo-bar, però erano disponibili bottiglie di acqua gratuite.

Personale molto accogliente e disponibile, ci hanno concesso un late check out senza averlo richiesto e colazione ottima servita in camera senza alcun costo aggiuntivo. Vista spettacolare, camera molto grande e con i principali comfort ricordandosi di essere in una struttura con quella età. Stradina molto ripida e buia per arrivare con la macchina e anche molto molto stretta. Parcheggio dell'albergo buio, forse non avevamo accesso le luci essendoci poca gente..

• Birgit (10/5): Wunderschönes Anwesen, sehr empfehlenswert! - Von weitem sieht man auf einem Hügel ein wunderschönes großes Anwesen; das Schloss hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, die Kombination als alt und neu, die vielen Pflanzen, der Innenhof, das große Schwimmbad, all das haben wir sehr wertgeschätzt. Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben mehr Zeit auf dem Schloss verbracht, als wir dies ursprünglich geplant hatten. Da das Schloss sehr wenige Zimmer hat, die gebucht werden können, ist es auch überall ruhig und erholsam. Da es sich um rein reines B&B handelt, werden keine Getränke serviert, Es stehen jedoch für jedes Zimmer Kühlschränke bereit, die man selber befüllen kann.

I wouldn’t hesitate to call on all future guests to maybe reconsider their travel plans to this location. No one on the check in desk dispite shouting on arrival. Went on a wander and came across what turned out later on to be a fully fledged member of staff (not the lady who showed us the room). After our interaction I can safely say I regarded her afterwards with a beady eye and at least 8ft of social distancing. Regarding reception. On at least 3 occasions a pungent odour was coming from the reception area. Maybe someone was relaxing a little too hard at reception. The room. Vast thing with a bath. No air con, no fan and bed completely dipped in the middle. Almost like an elephant sat on the end. If I put my spirit level on it I’m sure I’d have a full bubble of fall. We had to go and buy a fan from LeroyMerlin. No one could sleep in that heat and you can’t go and open the windows for the Mozzies. I noticed the owners residence has mosquito nets on their windows. Even a non air con £10 a night bamboo hut in Thailand would provide you with a fan. The decor at breakfast is Adam’s Family meets Death becomes her. Coffee is exceptionally poor by Italian standards. The food ranked very low amoungst the wines and spirits. So poor in fact we didn’t bother the last two mornings and went elsewhere for our caffine hits and food. The breakfast music on the loop is also dire. The location. The view from the castle ramparts might have been popular in 1780 but cast your eyes down on the green fields today and all you can see are great rollicking power substations, industrial sprawl and the like. There is nothing of interest locally and I mean at least within 40km. This is certainly no Vignamaggio, don’t be fooled by the 8.8 ‘Fabulous’ rating. Clearly geared towards weddings and pool parties but dabbles in renting rooms on the side. Read the other unbelievable reviews and decide for yourself.

• cecilia (7/5): Det är ett slott med en pool men absolut inget mer - Välkomnandet vid incheckning samt Poolområdet Det fanns ingen bar, ingen resturang. Då var man tvungen att åka ner i byn. Det fanns ingen AC på rummet. De producerade eget vin, olivolja, balsamvinäger men du kunde varken provsmaka el köpa på plats. Det fanns inga guidade turer av slottet.
• Lisa-Laurien (6/5): - Groot zwembad, mooi gebouw, vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamer, grote tuin, hondvriendelijk, gratis water, kamer wordt elke dag proper gekuist Het ontbijt mocht gevarieerder, weinig te doen in de buurt, geen airco
• Peter (6/5): Ansprechende Unterkunft, die aber das ein oder andere Manko für uns hatte - Erreichbarkeit nur mit Auto über sehr steilen und beim ersten Anfahren etwas "sorgenvollen" Weg durch Weinberge möglich. Unterkunft als Ganzes ansprechend, allerdings keine Klimaanlage und keine Ventilatoren, dadurch Zimmer in der Nacht sehr warm. Ristorante geschlossen, war im Vorfeld nicht kommuniziert worden. Tolle Pizza unten im Ort, Miss Pizza! Frühstück erst ab 9.00 Uhr möglich, war für uns für Tagesausflüge sehr spät war. Großer Pool, der gut nutzbar war.
• Beat Epp (9/5): Top Unterkunft in der Nähe von Bergamo - Super Aussicht, schöner Klosterinnhif, Top Pool, Frühstücksbasket wurde zur Verfügung gestellt. Anfahrt war etwas abenteuerlich. Personal infolge privatem Event nicht so präsent an der Reception.
• Emanuele (9/5): Tutto molto bello e particolare, la piscina un valore aggiunto - Colazione ottima ed abbondante, personale gentile e sempre disponibile Mi è piaciuto tutto dall'accoglienza al soggiorno, forse essendo un luogo isolato , avrei gradito la TV
• Glenda (7/5): A lovely location for one night but with quirks! - Beautiful old traditional castle. Fabulous views and very helpful staff. Difficult access to room up a long flight of stairs. No tea/coffee in room and nothing available in the hotel until 9am.
• Edwin (7/5): hotel op mooie locatie, maar service niet op niveau - oud kasteel boven op een berg, grote kamer en badkamer, vriendelijk personeel, lekker groot zwembad ontbijten was pas mogelijk om 9.00 uur en het ontbijt was echt onder de maat, geen echt brood en weing keuze, als je later dan 9.00 uur kwam ontbijten kon het zijn dat er niets meer was, ontbijt werd niet aangevuld, locatie leek uitgestorven, geen echt hotel maar meer een locatie voor feesten en partijen, kamer warm in augustus want er is geen airco
