Just what you need if you just want to stop for the night. There's a Tim Horton's just down the road. Also a relatively large (for a hotel) fridge and freezer in the room. Parking easy in front of the room. Friendly staff. Free wifi. We were pleasantly surprised at this price point. Excellent value for money. We arrived late but owner called us before to let us know to ring the bell. Check in and check out was a breeze. Perfect.

- kim (10/5): - Warm welcome at check in by i assume the owner. I observed him working around the property as we left for dinner. Room is clean. A fridge and a microwave is in the room. No coffee maker or hair dryer but it was expected as it is a motel. There is shampoo which i did not expect. Older facility but some renovations have been done such as flooring, painting and the toilet and vanity appear newer.

When I am traveling, I look for a reasonably priced motel that is quiet and clean. This motel fulfilled my requirements, and therefore I can recommend it to travelers who do not need any frills.

I have stayed in corporate chain places that cost twice as much, that were shabby and dirty. The bed here was pleasantly firm, with good pillows. There's a small desk, a microwave and fridge. A coffee machine would have been nice, but oh well, there's a Timmies across the road.

- Ed (10/5): - There are three things we look for in a place - clean, quiet and a reasonably comfortable bed. The Palace Inn met all of those. The fridge, microwave and kitchen sink were bonuses. It was as much as we could have hoped for.
- Lafrida (8/5): - The night staff was caring and kind. It's a good place to stay for a short time. Super clean. I'm glad I found it to sleep one night before crossing the border. There is no ice machine, no exercise room, no breakfast, no Kleenex or paper towels in the room, but room did have a nice size refrigerator (not very cold), a kitchenette sink and 2 stovetop eyelets plus a nice size bathroom. Bed was comfortable and clean.

- College (8/5): - Very welcoming and clean. If you're looking for a low budget, just need a place to lay your head - this is ideal. Small family run motel. Although I was a late arrival interrupting family time, I was not made to feel like this. I was welcomed and walked to my room to ensure the room would be okay for me. Very clean room with sufficient heat. Mini fridge, microwave, cable tv and internet all included. One thing I would suggest to give guests some peace of mind is an added locking mechanisms on the door. Currently door is only locked by door handle. As a women traveling on her own, this was a bit uncomfortable as it wouldn't take much force to come through the door.
