- Charlotte (10/5): Happy in San Jose - We are travelling with another couple around CR. As we wanted to experience the CR life this was central to typical mercados restaurants and pedestrian mall. We had all we needed at this hotel and the breakfast was a hot TICO one with lots of fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order.

Because it is on a dead end street, it is quiet although you are still close to the city center. Don't miss the Museo de Arte de Costa Rica on the near end of Parque La Sabana! It is free and it is fabulous!
