Elizabeth (9/5): Cozy, Convenient, Welcoming Staff - Location is great--Trinidad is a nice small but vibrant town. The cabins are within an easy and picturesque drive to National and State Redwood Trees parts. and to the Coastal Trail and coastal parks. It is also close to the Eureka airport. Staff were especially nice and helpful. Cabins are simple and very clean and met my needs. If I come back to this area, I would stay at Emerald Forest Cabins again but a bigger cabin if there were two of us. Beautiful redwoods around the grounds. A comfortable chair in Cabin B to sit and read but the cabin was too small to fit one!

The bathroom should have had a blower. Just a tiny window , nothing else. Window lock was extremely flimsy. Back door had only a light lock.

Ronald (9/5): A Cabin in a dramatic Forest - This was a cool little cabin under some giant trees. The radiant floor heating was so comfortable! The wood walls added to the rustic cabin feel. My room was small and it shared a wall with another room. I could hear the family next door, fortunately they went to sleep early.

If you love Trinidad you could not ask for a better location! The WiFi is pretty sketchy, and you’ll have zero bars on your phone. So data might be an issue for you.

Thank you for that because I was tired. -I walked in and cabin was warm. Alicia (10/5): Happy, cozy. We are return guests 💗 - So clean!!!!!!!, cozy and had all the basics ❤️ Did need help with the floor hearings and there were no directions for the TV. However, the Gal in the office came and fixed things. Appears the previous guest may have got confused and pushed wrong buttons.
KRISTY (6/5): - Good location to Redwood National Park. There were stains on the sheets and whenever we turned the heater on we would have a terrible allergic reaction -- must be a filter or something that needs to be changed. Were not able to sleep with the heat on so it was very cold.
Lisa (10/5): Beautiful redwood retreat near food and beach. - We loved our stay at Emerald Forest Cabins! The cabin was very clean, no bugs or spider webs (which I would expect, so was thrilled with the cleanliness)! The location right in the redwoods was beautiful, and it was nice to have two separate sleeping spaces. The grounds are very close to town and the beach. The bathroom was updated and very clean, too. Our kids enjoyed the game room and playground. We would definitely stay here again! It would be nice to have two campfire locations and a little lighting... we stopped by it on our first night and there was a large group, and no space, so we just looked and left. The second night, we looked, and no one was there, but it was so dark, that we didn't bother.

Edwin (10/5): - Emerald forest was pretty amazing. We stayed in the queen suite. The room was nice it was fully furnished. The bathroom was big, and the kitchen was completely stocked with kitchen items. It is a very cool place to stay. It was very peaceful and quite.

Bernardo (10/5): - We stayed in Cabin A, it was clean, comfortable and fully equipped for the weekend! We forgot wood for the fireplace but they give you a bundle each day! The on site arcade was a blast and a good way to kill some time. The place was quiet, clean, and close to many cool hikes! Will stay again

Brenda (9/5): Very enchanting place to stay if you love the redwoods - The location, the cleanliness. Our room was 80 degrees even though we had it set at 59.
Maria (5/5): Not comfortable. It was a tiny room and dark outside. - This is a tiny home. The location was dark outside, no view. It was warm inside and the bed was not comfortable. We were tired, slept, got up and left.

DENISE (9/5): Trinidad is a lovely destination. Emerald Forest was a lovely campground. We enjoyed it. - spacious cabin, very clean. great shower. well equipped kitchen although we hardly used it, whatever you might need was available. the redwoods surrounding the area were lovely. parking was available right next to the cabin. Murphy's supermarket had a lot of different foods and drinks available for a fair price. there was smoke from some nearby RVs which prevented us from opening the windows, it was too smoky. aside from that, all was very nice. The area restaurants were a bit pricey.

Rajiv (10/5): A quaint cabin reserve in the middle of nature but minutes away from the city - It's a quaint little area with neighboring cabins, an RV zone, and buildings for all sorts of activities. I was sad I only arrived at night and left early because I didn't get a chance to explore it more, but it seemed like a great place, in a great location close to town but still out in nature. The cabin was nice and big, with it's own private deck and comfortable. I have nothing negative to say. This place was really nice. If I go back to Trinidad I'll definitely stay here and bring more people.

Jennifer (8/5): - Stayed three nights here in this cabin. It was very cozy, clean, and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen appliances were smaller than expected and there was only a toaster and small microwave, which made storage of cold food and cooking tricky.
DENISE (9/5): Lovely area among the redwoods. nice deck out the back door. great shower. - clean comfortable cabin. everything you could need was available. our cabin was too close to RVs that were using outdoor stoves and campfires. The smoke from RVs prevented us from being able to open windows. We had some trouble with the TV in the bedroom- our movie cut out and we were unable to reestablish wireless connection. The remote was not the easiest to use.

Janelle (10/5): - Check in was fantastic- easy and very informative. I stayed myself and my dog and was delighted to discover that they had a fenced in dog park area and many stations set up around with doggie bags in case you didn’t bring your own. I loved the little cabin I stayed in. The bed was very comfortable, it was very quiet and cozy sleeping surrounded by trees and a light drizzle. Check out was also a breeze.

Christopher (8/5): The price was a little high for what I got so late in the season. - Pretty location. The room was big. Thei surroundings were quiet. The room was a little scruffy. The bed felt old and a little uncomfortable. The location was too far out of town. I would’ve preferred a walkable distance.
