There was a gentleman who came into our room to ask if we needed room service (he had knocked and we did not hear him) - I think the best mode of communication would be to call? • fallentatting0u (8/5): Convenient location, but service standards need improvement - DaVinci Hotel is very conveniently located and directly connected to Sandton City Square, which is a real advantage for both business and leisure travellers. However, the overall service experience did not meet expectations. The attitude and approach of staff at the restaurant, as well as in the lobby area on 5th Street, came across as lacking politeness and customer focus. Interactions felt unnecessarily argumentative rather than solution-oriented. In addition, breakfast service could benefit from greater attentiveness and responsiveness from staff, particularly during busier periods. This is a well-located property, but the hotel would greatly benefit from further staff training focused on professionalism, courtesy, and a more customer-centric approach, which is essential for a hotel of this standing.

Room was nice enough Negative: breakfast was appalling, staff at breakfast were unhelpful and unfriendly, buffet was underwhelming and al la carte was very disappointing, lacking flavour and finesse. Not a nice experience at all!

Breakfast was excellent, and the bottomless mimosas were such a great touch. A special mention to Thuso, who served us so well. He was incredibly pleasant, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Overall, a wonderful experience.

The staff from receiving us at the airport to the driver the reception staff and all general staff were extraordinary in all aspects. We can only recommend to anybody going to JHB to stay at the Da Vinci Hotel and Suites, I know that we will be doing it again and again.

To the AC in the lounge and second bedroom which was old and made noise. The shower head in bedroom one needed replacing. The toaster and fridge that wasn’t working properly. We got given new toaster and new fridge.

They helped get his prescription medication and checked in regularly… Mr Thulani was exceptional, when we arrived back from the hospital in the a.m he had cleaned up and made the apartment comfortable…. Housekeeping accommodated to my OCD needs once discussed with Them. Overall great experience. Would stay again
