• Verified traveler (2/5): Worst hotel stay - Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was filthy. There was a grape and a sausage patty on the floor, coffee and sticky stuff on like everything, toilet seat clearly not cleaned with pee and pubes on it, bathroom floor was dirty, the tub was dirty with hair from someone shaving in it still, the pool was “closed for maintenance” but the girl who checked us in said the heater broke and the owner didn’t want to fix it which was very disappointing to my children who were looking forward to swimming. Never stayed at a hotel that had such a terrible breakfast. There was literally only honey buns, generic fruit loops, Frosted Flakes, apples and waffles. The apple juice and orange juice were bad. Tasted spoiled and when we told the front desk she said “yeah it doesn’t mix right”. It smelled terrible in there too. Musty stale cigarette smell in a non smoking room. Only good thing was the beds LOOKED to be fresh sheets but I would not be surprised if they weren’t.
• Beth (2/5): Most disgusting hotel ever! - This is the most digusting hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are filthy. The pool and vending machines are out of order and have been for quite some time. Our group had to go to the store and get clorox wipes and lysol just to stay there. The front desk doesn't care that the rooms are filthy, no breakfast other than honey buns and brown orange juice. Multiple people in our group had to ask the front desk for new sheets. I personally never got a new mattress cover because the front desk said they had none clean but would wash mine and give it back, but that never happened. They have no cleaning crew. I am sure this hotel is used for drug deals by the locals.
• Shirley (2/5): Never ever again - This place was very dirty! Beds were still dirty from the previous guest! Blankets and sheets had blood on one bed and pee stains on the other! They allow pot smoking in the rooms! I highly allergic to it! Breakfast was cereal or a honey bun! The pool is not open! The staff was extremely rude! I took my blankets and stuff down they didnt have back up at all said they would bring them ip when they got them washed i had to go down the next morning and get them! The whole place reaked of cigarettes and marajuana! Hotels.com charged all 3 of my kids $94 a night and charged me $115 a night for two adults! Makes no sense to me! They do not change the comforters after each person they said they dont have enough comforters for that! Shower had hair in it! So that wasnt cleaned either! There was grapes popcorn and a piece of cheeseburger on the floor! Thank god er brought our own blankets and pillows! Bathroom had dirty towels in it!!

Then the internet didn't work, and i just gave up. I'll never return to a quality inn anywhere after this experience. Luckily the reason we vacationed there was amazing.

• Phillip (2/5): - Entered in the front lobby and greeted by the front desk clerk. The clerk did not know how to access our reservation. It took 45 minutes to check in. We were the only customers in the lobby. The first room was filthy. When I mention filthy, I mean many, many stains on the sheets, food on the floor, heater filter disgusting, Sheets obviously not been changed just the bed made. shower disgusting. Second room tolerable. At 10 outside our door the front desk clerk vacuumed until 12 midnight. On her phone all night talking so loud I was unable to sleep. Complained the next morning about the stay and nothing done. Also, I never got a receipt of my stay.
• Jesse (4/5): What a mess... - The shower did not work, it had no way of turning on at all. The smoke alarm had been ripped off the wall leaving exposed wires. The peep hole was broken and stuffed with an unknown material. The sheets and heavy cover on the bed had several burn marks from cigarettes. The carpets are horrible and reek of old cigarettes. 0/100 will not come back or recommend to anyone.
• Patricia (6/5): - Very old and in need of service work. My shower was clogged and you had to stand in 1/2 “ of water when showering. Curtain sheets were tattered. TV worked sporadically.

When I got to the hotel they did not have a room for me and they were booked! So I was standing there with no room and no other place to go!!! I will NEVER use hotel.com again!! EVER

• Allyson (4/5): - The staff are friendly but have their hands tied when it comes to fixing any issues. The owner is a cheapskate who has refused to give good service ever since C-19 shut down many of their services. The breakfast has only three items, the pool is not heated and is dangerously cold, and the building has cracked walls, doors hanging crooked, and pipes that look like the calcium deposits are about to become self aware.

• XaVeria (2/5): - The hotel overall was dirty. The pool was disgusting and had a layer of grease/film floating on top. The first room I was put in was dirty. There was blood, toilet paper, hair and dirt on the bathroom floor. The bathtub and toilet were dirty. I requested a new room. The front desk staff was more concerned about her manager being mad at her about moving my room than the state of the room. The second room I was in was better but still not cleaned well and had bedbugs. The staff did not believe there were bugs in the room and were very rude. I asked for the number for corporate and was given the wrong phone number. The fire alarm went off, my daughter and I evacuated. After the alarm stopped I went to the front desk to ask if it was safe to re-enter. The staff picked up her cell phone and walked away like I was not standing there. The overall experience was absolutely terrible. I’d rather sleep in the bed of an old rusty pickup truck during a hail storm than to ever even think about staying in that hotel again.

• JUDITH (10/5): Outstanding Hotel! - VERY CLEAN HOTEL! Easy to tell everything has been updated & is very well maintained. Convenient location close to I-80. Friendly & efficient desk staff. Our room had a lovely view of the surrounding mountains & we were able to see a beautiful sunset right from our window. Honestly I can’t think of anything negative about this hotel. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip east.
• Julie (2/5): - Room was filthy. Garbage and dirt under sides of bed. Looked like it had never been vacuumed. Walls had dried pop or beverage streaks on them. Bathroom shower curtain was old and moldy-looked like the original curtain had never been changed. Carpet in hallways was dirty and stained. The building and rooms look neglected. It needs fresh paint, new carpet, new curtains and daily cleaning.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Better of sleeping in the car. - The facility was filthy and not maintained at all. Checked in closed to midnight, was exhausted. Just flew in to STL and had a 2.5 hour drive, wished I had stayed in St Louis instead. I was informed it was the newest in town, sad site. Carpet was filthy, outlets didn’t work so had to change my watch in the breakfast nook. The toilet was broken and had to wear shoes in the shower. The restroom didn’t look like it was cleaned. Wished I had taken photos to post but just wanted to get out of there, pure trash.
• Dan (10/5): Nice Place - Nice place to stay the night. Very clean, friendly staff, good price. The only issue is that the screens on the windows are worn out/shredded apart. Can't have a nice breeze with an open window.

• Kellie (4/5): - Couldn’t get the TV to come on then the remote wouldn’t work to turn the TV on or off or do the volume. There was rust all on the door frame in the bathroom. The curtains were all ripped up and had warm water not hot until they fixed it. Room smelled musky.

When I asked for a plunger to fix the toilet, they didn't have one, and had to get it from another motel. When they finally got a plunger, I, rather than the stuff, fixed the toilet.

They were super under staffed, but the staff were friendly. When we opened the door to our room, it had not been cleaned at all! Beds all unmade, towels everywhere. They had to give us a different room. Do not stay here unless you have to, which is what happened to us.
• KATHERINE (4/5): - Large cobwebs everywhere, dirty pillows and bedsheets. Hair and dust on everything the tub had hair in it the floors weren't vacuumed had stuff and candle all over the floor when we got here. One of the dirtiest I've been in, will not stay at this hotel again.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Not Good Quality Inn - The person at the front desk was nice but the pool had mildew on the ceiling. The room didn’t smell great, the rugs were dirty and overall not a clean feeling place. We will not be returning.
• Matthew (2/5): Terrible stay - Well for starters the refrigerator nor microwave worked and after telling them More than once, housekeeping then asked my pregnant girlfriend to help move one from the other room if we wanted one. On top of that the first night there were two roaches in the bathroom. Displeased and won’t be staying here again the milk is so watered down you can’t even use it for cereal

Windows open in the pool room/mold in the pool room, pool cold. Soda machine out of order. No freezer in fridge. Bathtub questionably unclean- did not use. Pro- Staff friendly/accommodating. Great bed/bed frame, dresser, microwave, fridge, sink, multiple locks on door. TV on the smaller side but great quality and sound. Perfect heat/AC unit.

• Scott (10/5): - I seen people leaving bad reviews but my experience was very nice. The girl that helped me check in went above and beyond. The bed had clean sheets and the bed itself was pretty soft (no trace of bed bugs). The carpets looked a little rough and the shower confused me at first but overall for $80 bucks I can't complain at all. I do wish they would of had a hot breakfast and not a grab and go breakfast but in a small town it's probably hard to find employees willing to work, let alone cook and clean the dishes etc..

No waffles--only photos of waffles on the wall. Stale cereal, honey buns in plastic wrap, juice. Coffee was great! Pool is tiny--don't pan on doing laps. Beds great!

• Verified traveler (4/5): Lack of staff here a real black mark! - Check in was horrendous. I was expected to sign a credit card receipt of a number that I was told was a virtual Expedia # for more than I had prepaid. I spoke with the manager who was very rude. The poor girl at the desk was the only one in the building. Hotels.com finally called motel & settled it & I didn't have to sign. TV in 1st room didn't work. Poor girl lugged in a working set which didn't work in my room. I was moved to another room. People were yelling from lobby to check in. I felt very bad for her. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast was advertised....WRONG! Not even bread for toast! 2 choices of cold cereal. There were apples & pre packaged rolls? Juice dispenser listed orange & cranberry, but cranberry squirted out a few drops of icky water. There was catsup! For my coffee? Thank goodness there was decent hot coffee because that was the only thing that was hot about the breakfast. The women who work there should have medals. Each one was pleasant and did her best with no help at all. I was concerned about my security as the motel is off the beaten path and there was a very evident lack of staff. Too bad because the location is good for Garden of the Gods. It could be a great place to stay.

The shower didn’t work the room was at 90 degrees when we enter and took 2 hours to cool down and specially…the breakfast was the worst joke in my life just coffee a soggy packed cinnamon roll and…that’s it!!!! For a miserable Quality inn at $100 is a shameful and disgrace for a brand to get a franchisee like this one. I had much better breakfast in very small towns in a super 8. Please please skip Harrisburg, I’ll.

• Jeff (4/5): - The room was overall comfortable. Not squeaky clean though. The shower functionality was very annoying and uncomfortable to use. They could use some improvement. The town of Harrisburg, during our stay was under boiling waiter-water restriction usage but the manager of the hotel was not even aware of it. They could have been a little more pro-active.

There were pre packaged Honey buns and cranberry juice with some apples and oranges and coffee. That was it. They didn't have any milk for children. The owner parked his car by the front door. Had to ask him to move it so we could load the car when we were leaving!

Stated no handicap room; there was a king bed handicap room there. Stated full breakfast; there was only limited coffee, juice, and generic rolls. Will call and confirm all that's important in future.

• Sandra (2/5): - I went on a road trip with my family to Shawnee National Forest so I booked a stay at the Quality Inn. When we first walked in the room, it smelled like pee and wet rags. The pillows and blankets had yellow stains on them. The carpet was dirty. The towels had yellow stains and smelled like they had not been washed. The refrigerator made a constant buzzing sound and it shook the T.V. stand that it was under. The walls had brown marks on them. On one occasion, I was sleeping and heard a loud bang on the door. My father, sleeping in the other bed, asked who was at the door. The staff had tried to open our hotel room without our permission. It was a really scary experience. Overall, my stay at the Quality Inn was uncomfortable and regretful. I will not be staying there again.
• Angela (6/5): - There was no continental breakfast at all. The sign in the room says they will change linens and towels every 3 days. This is not true when we checked in were told they will not change anything or clean the room unless you request it. Also there was a mouse in the room. It came running across the floor.

Checked into the hotel to find out the pool was closed and a hot breakfast was not available either. Signs said it was due to Covid. Very disappointed as my girls were with me and no pool. No discount either for not having them. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. Just disappointed about the pool and breakfast.
• Catherine (8/5): - Room and bed were fine. They need to tell you how to operate the shower, it's not obvious. A little sign or a mention at check in would be useful. The alarm clock's LEDs were messed up, so the clock was useless. Otherwise things were clean and functional, though very old.
• Michael (6/5): - The TV did not work/wasn’t connected to their service. You have to tell them you want sheets replaced and they do not inform you at check in that you need to do this. And really the worst thing is they have in effect no continental breakfast. Breakfast is not as advertised. They had fruit cups and a small brownie. That’s it to eat. It is clean and room is acceptable if you just want a room to sleep in for a few nights. The pool was closed for remodeling though the sign says closed for covid. They still have obsolete covid mask signs up that are not in effect anymore there.
• Michael (2/5): - That Quality inn was wrong information, they don’t have any breakfast, they not served.
• Michael (6/5): - The outside area was trashy-not picked up, bed , bathroom and sink ares were clean but uncomfortable chairs and worn furniture and carpet
• Jamee (6/5): Don’t come if you don’t like Cigarette Smoke - We stayed for two nights. The first night was good but the second night was terrible. Our nonsmoking room smelled so bad like cigarette smoke!! The hallways smelled like smoke horribly. Why a hotel would have nonsmoking rooms right next door to smoking rooms is beyond me!!! This hotel only has two floors so if they want to offer smoking rooms they should all be upstairs and then nonsmoking rooms downstairs. I feel like this is a no brainer!! Not Happy, unsure if I would ever come back to this hotel again
• scott (4/5): not impressed - The pool was closed, but we did not know that until we arrived. The web site said there would be a pool. Breakfast was just sticky buns and juice. That's not what I consider breakfast. The hallway to my room smelled of smoke and had debris all over the floor. I expected more for $128.
• Philip (8/5): - The rooms were clean. The indoor pool didn't appear to be in the best condition. The hot breakfast was limited to a honey bun. The grocery store was walkable and we had a fridge and microwave, so we did our breakfasts in the room. Overall a good experience.
• Trent (8/5): - Nice economical place for the money. Friendly staff
• Sharad (4/5): - TV remote didn’t work. Refrigerator was unplugged. Alarm clock was unplugged. Overall a disappointing stay. I won’t recommend this hotel.

• Daphne (6/5): - The room was nice. The pool was gross. There was slimy stuff at the bottom of the pool and it was horribly discolored like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The hotel itself didn’t look very clean. But it was quiet and I didn’t see any bugs. Luckily we were only there for one night.
• David (6/5): Stay - Everything was ok accept the commode was constantly clogged.
• Nathan (6/5): - Front desk person was very polite and nice. Breakfast option was only coffee, juice and a bum, which is disappointing given the fare we paid. Restaurants and places are 5-7 minutes from the hotel.
• Rick (6/5): - Old hotel. No elevator. Only breakfast selection is premade sticky buns. Furniture extremely old and in poor condition. All for $88.00 a night.
• Melissa (6/5): - Room was nice however our toilet would not flush. So instead of giving us another room ( they were not full) they gave us a plunger.
• Cynthia (2/5): - The room was dirty filthy. When we asked for a 30-minute late check out he deactivated our rim cards and we weren't allowed to get back in our room. Then he sent housekeeping at 11:00 and told us to get out there was mice we could hear him in the walls
• Makisha (8/5): - The room smelled clean and looked clean. The pool was another story it had to much chlorine and stuff floating in the water. The bottom of the pool looked slimy. The kids played in the pool for a little bit but the chemicals was so strong they could not stay in very long.
• Thomas (6/5): - One of the rooms I stayed in had a ceiling leaking water when it rained,bathroom exhaust fan was full of dust,Gfi outlet for coffee pot was broke by the ground. Both rooms I stayed in need some maintenance work.
• Vivek (10/5): Nice service and helpful staff - Friendly and very helpful staff.
