• Dean (9/5): Relaxing, quiet and very comfortable getaway - Wonderfully peaceful and quiet. Really clean, excellent amenities and plenty of breakfast supplies. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept on, and I have taken over 350 interstate and overseas trips. We couldn't stay any longer!

• Robyn (8/5): Little studio set in beautiful grounds . Generous host , comfy bed. Good bathroom and kitchenette. - Loved the setting . We were there briefly as we had to leave early the next morning and no time to take full advantage of the grounds. Linen , bed , bathroom and kitchen provisions were excellent. Host was exceptionally lovely. The space was very small .

The hosts were amazing, shout out to Mike who brought us some emergency beer on the afternoon we arrived and gave us advice on wineries. Really great stay all up, we'll be back for sure! nothing
• Wayne (10/5): Great place to retreat for a quiet night, but close enough to be able to access all the wineries. - Plenty of breakfast provisions provided, and welled stock pantry items. The location gives you the feel of being away from it all. but really its only 10mins to anywhere in McLaren Vale or the beaches. The hosts were fantastic and super friendly, with plenty of tips for local venues. We could not fault anything.

Thankyou Mike and Donna The only concern we could see was the floor in the shower alcove became very slippery when wet therefore one needed to be very cautious when exiting.

• Ana (10/5): - The place is great, in the heart of McLaren Valley and also close to the coast. The owners maintain the property beautifully. The breakfast provender is great, with fresh foods and many options.
• Ian (10/5): Peaceful Vineyard Escape with a Warm Welcome - Amande B&B was exactly what we needed. A small, quiet cottage beside the owners’ residence, it felt welcoming and peaceful without being pretentious. We were greeted warmly (including by two beautiful golden retrievers) and then left to enjoy our stay in privacy. The view over the surrounding vineyard was stunning. Comfortable, charming, and deeply relaxing — highly recommended.

• Jason (8/5): Very good - The location was amazing and the hosts were lovely and very welcoming. The place was warm and comfortable. The breakfast was great! Their gorgeous dog came up to us while eating our dinner outside and although well behaved made my partner who has never owned a dog uncomfortable. We wanted to explore the property but with the hosts outside with friends felt like we were imposing on their personal space.

Cooked on the BBQ outside, and eating on the verandah was lovely. Being a cold night, it was good to be able to turn on a modern AC heater to warm the room. All supplies for use of the kitchenette were great. Very happy with our stay, thank you Bathroom needed better venting, and somewhere to place soap in shower. Some information on the TV operation could have helped. These are small things.

Disappointed that the tennis court wasn't usable, as there was damage to one end and uneven surface. As we play competition tennis, we had brought our racquet's etc, and were looking forward to a hit.

• Lee (9/5): Great place to stay for a lazy weekend. - We didn't have breakfast there, but the food items supplied for breakfast were excellent. The location was great. We had a wedding in Aldinga, and we were only 5 minutes out of town. It was nice to stay in a B&B rather than a motel/hotel room for a change. We would have preferred a king size bed; they have the room to put one in. The shower floor was quite slippery. Not ideal for older people. Wi-fi hopeless, but they did warn about being in the country. TV reception not great.

The property is a perfect home away from home. It included everything that would want in your house but nearby your travel destination. A perfect location with plenty of supplies and a excellent guest treatment! 12/10

• Elizabeth (6/5): Unfortunately did not rate the property for the price. - The bed was cosy. Had a few good movie selections. It was dark and gloomy we went in winter. Dark lightning. The food stuck to the pans we used to cook. Was hoping for better quality of food for breakfast not just Cole’s supermarket. Cereal had bugs in it. Coffee machine did not have a milk option. I thought for 4 star it would be better. It was cold when we entered no instructions how the heating worked. We managed to google how to change the settings. The out door furniture cushions were dirty and bbq was covered in spider webs to turn on the gas.

Lovely place in middle of grape fields. This accommodation would suit all year round travellers for summer and winter. Had some bugs crawling under door but sprayed the bottom of door and they were gone. No real issue.

The breakfast provided was sufficient and saved on having to venture into town. The two doggos at the property are super friendly and love coming up for morning pats. Nothing we didn't like.

• Geoff (9/5): Another excellent stay. Will be back again - Breakfast provisions were great. Outlook from unit is picture perfect. The grounds are immaculate. Been before and never disappoints Would have liked a choice of instant coffee or pods. Pods only and no milk frother Bathroom is huge and all new. But there needs to be somewhere in the shower to place your soap etc. and needs to have some glass on the back of the huge open shower, as water goes everywhere, making the floor slippery. Other than that, looks great.
