Alain (9/5): - Accueil chaleureux, conseils pour les visites, cadre authentique, rooftop offrant plusieurs terrasses pour le petit-déjeuner et une vue à 360° sur la ville ancienne, appartement spacieux et bien équipé. Éléments de salle de bain vieillots, lits très durs.
Tin Man Maggie (10/5): Centrally located riad with the most helpful staff, clean and spacious room and great rooftop views! - The riad was wonderful due to: - clean, enough space in the bedroom. - Amazing view from the rooftop to relax and hangout. - Delicious breakfast Mostly importantly, the staff members were really friendly and helpful. They were always offering tea/coffee, checking in how our stay was, and cleaned our rooms after the first day without us requesting. When we had a Fez medina guide issue last minute, they helped get us a new guide. We also had some health issues so they helped us to go to the pharmacy to pick up the medication we needed. In addition, while it was not their fault, we had some issues with a desert tour as we were leaving the riad, they helped talk to the tour company with us and help resolved the issue. As they say, they want us to be treated like friends and family, not hotel guests. Thank you again! If we had to be very picky, the bathroom can be on the smaller side for 2 people to be in but sufficient space for one person.

Le petit déjeuner TRÈS copieux peut pris dans le riad ou sur la terrasse. L'escalier qui dessert les étages est un peu raide.

Julian-L (8/5): Beautiful Riad, super friendly staff, clean, Location was great & not hard to find. - Location was great, we parked the car at Underground Parking next to Fontaine Batha & walked to the Riad. (https://maps.app.goo.gl/aJLjPZAja33NHZ1W6) Everyone was very nice & welcoming and the house & rooms are beautiful and clean. We also loved the terrace, where we sat for breakfast, which was also really good. We even had 4 little water bottles in the room. The staircase is very narrow, but if you need help with your luggage, they will be happy to help. Wir ernähren uns vegan und haben auch dort gefrühstückt. Es war vollkommen ok, vielleicht wäre noch Obst oder Gemüse eine gute Ergänzung oder ein weiterer Aufstrich. All the windows of the room face the covered inner courtyard, of course - it is a Riad and are not at all soundproof, and also the tinted glass lets in light. It didn't bother us, but it is something you should be aware of if you are sensitive to light or noise, or if you are traveling with children.

Johanna Josephine (8/5): Riad met goede locatie en aardig personeel! - De locatie is prima. Het ontbijt op het dakterras en de ontvangst waren top! Mohammed was erg aardig en hielp ons goed waar nodig. Fijn om via whatsapp contact met hem te hebben. We moesten voor het appartement met 2 slaapkamers naar een andere locatie, 3 straten verderop. De straat liep omhoog, dus met koffers was dat even lastig. Dit wisten we niet. De badkamers zijn echt aan een update toe. En er hing een rioollucht, maar dat zal in andere riads ook zo zijn.

Alfredo (10/5): - Soggiorno eccellente sotto ogni punto di vista. Mohamed è stato un host davvero straordinario: fin dal nostro arrivo ci ha fatto sentire i benvenuti. Anche se la camera non era ancora pronta, ci ha preparato la colazione senza farcela pagare, nonostante non fosse inclusa per quel giorno. Durante tutto il soggiorno lui e lo staff sono stati sempre gentilissimi, disponibili e attenti a ogni esigenza. Ogni volta che rientravamo ci chiedevano come stesse andando il soggiorno e se avessimo bisogno di qualcosa. Colazione davvero ottima. L’ultimo giorno Mohamed si è addirittura offerto di accompagnarci nella medina per cambiare una giacca di pelle che avevamo acquistato e che si era rivelata danneggiata: un gesto che abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo. Inoltre ci ha organizzato senza problemi anche il taxi per l’aeroporto. Ospitalità autentica e rara da trovare. Consigliatissimo!

Laura (10/5): Wir kommen gerne wieder - Extrem freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, wir haben viele Tipps für Fes bekommen Die Lage ist top, innerhalb weniger Minuten ist man mitten im Geschehen Parken ist außerhalb der Medina in einer Tiefgarage möglich (ca. 3€ pro Tag), genaue Infos haben wir von der Unterkunft bekommen Wir haben einen Kochkurs über die Unterkunft gebucht, was wir nur empfehlen können! Das Einkaufen auf dem Markt und Zubereiten des Essens mit Omar hat super viel Spaß gemacht

Martinus (7/5): Leuke plek in Fez - Een prima locatie met leuk en attent personeel. Goede locatie om Fez te verkennen Het bed was keihard en de badkamer niet echt comfortabel. Klein en je stoot je hoofd aan de douchewand of de boiler. Door het regenachtige weer konden we geen gebruik maken van het dakterras. De binnenruimte is dan wel wat beperkt.

Sofia (3/5): Desastre total. - La terraza Cuando llegamos al RIAD DAR EL OUEDGHIRI la habitación no era lo que esperábamos. Podía tocar con mi mano el techo. No tenía lugar guardado varias cosas rotas no había espacio no era para 2 personas solo 1 . Las fotos coincidían pero estaban sacadas de una manera que no te dabas cuenta como era en realidad. Me quejé amablemente me dijeron que tratarían de cambiarme lavhabitacion. Al otro día me dicen que no hay otra y lamentablemente me tenía que quedar las 3 noches allí a lo que le dije que no hay problema que me quedaba pero que me quejaría con booking y que haría una mala reseña para que otros futuros huéspedes supieran de todos estos inconvenientes. Al otro día luego de desayunar nos hecharon del hotel cancelando nuestra reserva en booking y que booking me devolvería el dinero pero tuve que pagar las 2 noches que me quedé me cobraron más caro que lo que yo pagué y no me dieron recibo. De este modo yo no tengo manera de publicar una mala reseña.

Katja (9/5): Schöne Wohnung im Herzen von Fes, gerne wieder! - Schöne Wohnung in der Altstadt von Fes mit sehr guter Ausstattung und sehr nettem Empfang. Alles war sehr sauber und ruhig. Betten waren bequem. Da wir morgens sehr früh abgereist sind, wurde uns sogar noch ein kleines Frühstück vorbeigebracht. Das Frühstück hätte auf der Dachterrasse im Haupthaus stattgefunden mit sehr schönem Ausblick. Es hätte ein bisschen wärmer in den Zimmern und im Bad sein können, da es nachts noch etwas frisch Ende März war.
Kumiko (10/5): Nice Riad with wonderful rooftop - The staff was very attentive and always making sure if my stay in Fes was satisfactory. The breakfast on the rooftop was very good. I extended my stay and had to move to the other room. In the second room, there was no division between shower and toilet, and the whole bathroom floor got wet after taking shower and slippery. I think placing some floor wiper will help.

We had anything we needed and the hospitality was unbelievable: anyone- Hajar, tall Mohamed, shorter Mohamed, Ossama were always ready to help, super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and served well. Beautiful roof top terrace; daily service; delicious tea. Absolutely perfect riad for exploring the Fez Medina. room location, and hospitality. Very charming and pretty. We had an issue with the shower head that was fixed immediately. Thank you. Everything in the room worked great and lay out could not be better. We definitely would stay again if back to Fez and highly recommend it. Everyone talked about the strap stairs but we found them charming and indeed very manageable

Personale estremamente gentile, disponibile e cortese che ha cercato di venirci in contro in ogni esigenza. Pulizia delle camere e dell’appartamento a parte ottima. Abbiamo richiesto un check in anticipato alle 9, per poter poi partecipare ad una visita guidata che sarebbe iniziata alle 10. Sono stati molto gentili e ci hanno accolto alle 9 offrendoci anche la colazione. Davvero super consigliato!!! Nulla! Tutto bellissimo!
Kai (10/5): - Sehr schönes Riad. Besonders durch die Mitarbeiter ein rundum entspanntes Erlebnis. Meistens wurde ich von Ossama bedient. Er ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Service ist sehr positiv hervorzuheben. Das Abendessen auf der Dachterrasse ist sehr zu empfehlen. Super lecker! Viele Stufen im Riad! Die Ausstattung im Bad könnte etwas besser sein bzw. einige Dinge repariert werden.

Lo staff è molto accogliente e ospitale: ogni nostra richiesta è stata sempre soddisfatta con grande gentilezza e ci hanno offerto dell'ottimo tè marocchino a qualsiasi ora. Le camere sono dotate di ogni comfort e i letti sono comodissimi.. tutto è estremamente curato. In più, la terrazza all'ultimo piano offre una vista spettacolare e un'atmosfera di rara tranquillità.

Monica (10/5): A Memorable, Relaxing Stay, with Helpful, Friendly Staff - All the staff were extremely hospitable and helpful, especially upon giving me a map of Fez’s highlights to visit, and walking directions to the medina, and beyond. Another highlight was the full breakfasts in the mornings on the cozy rooftop terrace, with views of the city, the pleasant chirping birds, and the kind and friendly waiter, who served me each morning with breakfast. The stairs are steep, so you have to be fairly coordinated and fit, but I got used to the stairs routine, and thanked them for my daily, healthy workout.

Avevamo un programma serrato e ci ha aiutato tantissimo organizzandoci l'auto a noleggio direttamente al Riad, la guida, la prenotazione della cena al ristorante ad esempio Abbiamo alloggiato in 5 in un appartamento all'interno della Medina grandissimo e curato con 3 camere, 2 bagni, cucina e 2 soggiorni. Unica pecca che l'appartamento non era all'interno della struttura del Riad ma qualche minuto a piedi
Mika (9/5): Ein perfekter Start - Das Riad ist gut eingerichtet, das Personal äußerst freundlich und die Lage sehr gut. Jeden Tag wechselndes, sehr leckeres Frühstück, das man unter Anderem auf der wunderschönen Dachterrasse genießen kann. Getränke und weitere Speisen sind zu fairen Preisen auch erhältlich. Die Kommunikation war super und sie organisierten sogar einen Flughafentransfer und geben gute Tipps für die Stadt. Leider hat das WLAN nicht bis in unser Zimmer gereicht.

Estuvieron pendientes durante nuestra estadía para darnos la mejores recomendaciones. Durante un día nos recomendaron a Omar, seguramente uno de los mejores guías de la Medina. Durante un recorrido de más de 4h en español, nos llevó a recorrer los rincones de la Medina, varios negocios para comprar artículos en cuero, especias y artesanías de nuestro interés, lejos de las trampas de turistas. Totalmente recomendado!! Las ventajas de tener un guía es que no te acosan en la calle. Nos recomendó un restaurante delicioso con la mejor Pastilla que probamos en Marruecos. 🙂‍↔️ Volveríamos con gusto. El aire acondicionado estaba un poco ruidoso, pero nada grave.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff really kind and helpful. The beds were quite hard, but I get that is down to personal preference.

Giovanni (10/5): - Il mio soggiorno presso il Riad Dar El Ouedghiri, un albergo nel cuore della medina di Fes, è stato eccezionale. Sono rimasto particolarmente colpito dalla gentilezza e dalla professionalità del personale, che non mi ha fatto mancare niente, mi ha fatto sentire a casa e ha soddisfatto tutte le mie richieste. Ho potuto apprezzare la cucina tipica marocchina, in particolare il cous cous, i dolci locali e il tè alla menta. Durante il soggiorno ho fatto due tour guidati di Fes e ho visitato le principali attrazioni turistiche in varie zone della città, dalla bellissima medina al quartiere ebraico, dal palazzo reale alla cooperativa che produce splendide ceramiche. Particolarmente positiva l’escursione a Ifrane e Azrou sulle montagne dell’Atlante, dove mi sono potuto immergere nella cultura e nelle tradizioni berbere locali. Consiglio vivamente questo riad a chiunque voglia visitare Fes e le città vicine.

Colazione davvero ottima: abbondante, varia e buona; una mattina ci hanno preparato una colazione al sacco dato che avevamo una escursione molto presto. Camere super pulitissime, rifatte tutti i giorni con asciugamani puliti ogni volta. Possibilità di cenare, cucina ottima. Niente, tutto perfetto.

emmanuelle (9/5): Un Riad « pépite » très bien situé - Un petit Riad très bien placé au cœur de la médina mais dans un quartier très calme. Nous avons séjourné dans un bel appartement familial à quelques mètres du Riad. Idéal pour une famille ou un groupe d’amis. Le petit déjeuner sur le toit terrasse est magique et le personnel charmant. Vraiment rien à redire si ce n’est qu’il y a un escalier assez raide pour accéder aux chambres et à la terrasse.

Jimmy (5/5): Éprouvant physiquement, mais personnel sympathique - Le personnel du Riad était très agréable et gentil. Les serviettes sont changées tous les jours et le ménage fait. L'accès assez éloigné du lieu de dépose en taxi. Le sommeil dépend de l'heure de coucher et de lever des autres. Douche minuscule et qui fuit : quand on a pris sa douche on ne peut plus retourner dans la salle de bain car le sol est une flaque. Pas de miroir dans la salle de bain; le seul miroir dans la chambre n'est pas éclairé : impossible de se maquiller. Attention car n'est pas précisé : pour rejoindre les chambres les marches sont hautes et étroites donc personne avec des difficultés pieds ou genoux à éviter. Idem pour accéder au riad en taxi : 10 minutes de marche entre le lieu de dépose et le riad. Il y a des taxes de séjour à ajouter. Petit déjeuner servi froid malheureusement. Le taxi navette coûte 20€ - attention, les taxis rouges ne vont pas à l'aéroport

Saana (10/5): - We really enjoyed our time in Fes and Dar El Ouedghiri! The outdoor did not stand out but there was a sign that said "Family El Ouedghiri". The service was beyond excellent and our room was exactly like in the pictures. The Morroccan salad was amazing. We also tried the hammam they recommended and the person came to get us from the riad. We had to leave early in the morning on our last day but they gathered a take away breakfast for us. Really loved our time here! It was a bit cold during the night, as it is everywhere, so I recommend visitors to acknowledge that by preparing with warm pyjama.

Sehr hilfreiches Personal bei den etwas steilen Treppen, aber kein Problem. Schöne Dachterrasse mit Blick über Fès. Reichhaltiges Frühstück, reicht für den ganzen Tag. Gute Beratung durch den Inhaber inbezug auf die Sehenswürdigkeiten. 10 Minuten zu den Souks, 20 Minuten zu den Gerbereien. Die Unterkunft ist mit google.maps gut zu finden. Hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

The breakfast was very tasty and the last day that we were living early they gave us a take away breakfast. The rooftop has a great view of the city! Highly recommended.
