The bathrooms had showers and a tub. The heated floor was a nice touch. The rooms felt like apartments. It was a great value for what we paid. Camo. (9/5): Klasse statt Masse - Der Detmolder Hof ist das erste Haus am Platz. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, stilvoll eingerichtet und dennoch gemütlich. Sehr schön ist das große Marmorbad mit einer komfortablen Badewanne. Das Frühstück besticht weniger durch eine riesengroße Auswahl als vielmehr durch seine qualitativ hochwertigen Produkte. Besonders die feine Käseauswahl sowie die vom Chefkoch persönlich zubereiteten Eierspeisen wissen zu überzeugen. Das Konzept einer Toilette ohne Tür im ansonsten sehr schönnen Badezimmer erschließt sich mir nicht.

Annika (10/5): Tolles Haus mit besonderem Restauranterlebnis - Das Highlight war für uns definitiv das Gourmetdinner in Jan's Restaurant. Dies war auch der Grund für die Zimmerbuchung im Detmolder Hof. Die Übernachtung war sehr komfortabel. Alles top. Da wir kein Frühstück gebucht hatten, können wir dies nicht bewerten.

We slept very good in the bed, the bathroom was clean, all was there what was needed. The location is directly in the centre of Detmold. The instructions how to arrive after 15.00 was very clear, the staff friendly in explaining how to enter the hotel when the reception was closed.
