- oliviamI2353LP (8/5): Perfect for gig-goers! - I went to The Underground for a gig, so the location was perfect! Just what I needed for a cheap night’s stay. I like the idea of using both Goki and the paper room ticket. I really liked having the option of an en-suite and large lockers. Good service too, kind staff! If I had to fault anything it would be that the shower/toilet is a bit of a tight squeeze, but that’s understandable. Check-out was a bit frustrating as the heating was blaring and there was nobody at the desk. But there was a box where you could put your ticket and check-out that way, which made it far easier. Overall, I’d 100% stay here again and recommend the Smart Camden Inn for anyone looking for a hostel in the area!

- Audrey (10/5): Merci pour ce séjour :) - L'établissement est bien positionné dans le quartier de Camden, proche d'arrêts de bus et de métro. La rue est plutôt calme. L'ambiance de l'auberge est sympathique, le personnel aimable et gentil, ce n'est pas très grand mais cosy, les espaces communs et la terrasse sont un vrai plus. Le dortoir pour 6 est fonctionnel mais n'est pas très grand. Je recommande pour des gens qui bougent beaucoup et font plutôt des activités en extérieur et qui profitent de la chambre uniquement pour dormir.

- James (8/5): Convenient, good value value hostel - Nice clean bunks, and spacious enough to get my 6"5 body in without feeling claustrophobic. Good price so I stayed the extra night. Breakfast is offered at extra charge but many places are nearby as very convenient location for Camden area. It is equal distance from Camden station and mornington crescent station. Communal area for eating/drinking/relaxing/TV room/board games Key code access secure Toilet/bathroom was clean and sufficient Locker provided in room (bring your own lock) Reading light in bunk Small outdoor communal area Shower water temperature adapted quickly Reception sells toothbrush and paste Local shops and market for everything else you need. I would recommend here for a short stay as better value than most others in the area. Jüngere oder ältere müssen ein Einzelzimmer buchen. Ich durfte mit meinen 50 Jahren dann doch in einem günstigen Mehrbett Zimmer schlafe. There was a guest in their bed already when we arrived that may have been the source of the smell. We opened the window which helped air it out but was still very noticeable when we went to bed.

- HAINE (5/5): お値段安いしまぁまぁ…かな？ - ベッドにカーテンが付いているところ。 ルームキーがタッチ式なのでキーを持ち歩く必要がないところ。 休憩ルームとキッチンは大変満足の広さでした。 ヨーロッパだと当たり前っちゃ当たり前ですが全て階段です。 今回私はたまたま一階だったので良かったですが狭い階段をキャリーケース抱えて登り降り…ぞっとします。

- 509annib (10/5): Good hostel. - Was a bit worried about staying here because of some of the reviews but me and my friend had a perfectly alright time. It's a hostel so you can't guarantee the people you're gonna share with are ideal but in terms of the staff and facilities there were 0 issues. The rooms/bathroom were a bit small - but again, it's a hostel, not a hotel. They provide perfectly adequate bedding, and the shower was hot so not much to complain about. Having a kitchen is such a bonus and there were clear instructions on how to store your food. The lounge area was clean and spacious and offered a nice alternative to sitting in the room, including a TV if you had time to kill. Staff were helpful when I asked questions. Good location for accessing key parts of London. It was as advertised and good value for money. Would stay again. If you are after large beds, someone to bring you clean towels everyday, and a large buffet breakfast then pay extra to stay in a hotel!
- Gary (6/5): Convenient location - The hostel was convenient and felt secure with keycode entry and individual beds having lockers (bring a lock or buy one at reception). Free ear plugs at reception to combat the snorers It was a shame that one member of staff seemed to have a chip on their shoulder but everyone else seemed pleasant enough. I wasn't keen on some of the people there thinking it was socially acceptable to be either blasting their phone conversation across the common area on speaker or their music.

Nous avions réservé une chambre de 6 pour ma famille de 5 mais c'est très petit. Deux fois trois lits superposés dans la chambre et un mètre carré de vie seulement. Attention les serviettes de toilettes ne sont pas fournies , il faut les payer.

- O3800BXlorenag (2/5): I will never return to this hostel. - We stayed in a shared room and everyone was complaining about a man who made it impossible to sleep (he shouted all night, came in drunk, and banged things around), and the reception staff kept letting him stay there. One day they said they were going to move him (a lie), another day they took him out of the room (but 15 minutes later he was back sleeping in his bed). In the end, we moved rooms ourselves. Two nights without being able to sleep. Also, in the morning you can’t cook in the kitchen because the hostel breakfast is being served.

The rooms and bunks are too tight and no abestos in the room to keep them warm especially during the winter and cold weather. I feel I got value for my money since I was able to get access to all I needed.
