Guest Reviews
- Marilyn (10/5): Excellent - Friendly staff, clean
- William (3/5): Mistake - Filthy Building and Breakfast was not edible
- Bridget (8/5): Nice location and clean hotel , would recommend ! - The hotel was close to the location we visted . Hotel was nice , clean , and felt safe in that area . The only two things I didn’t like
1- Non lactose free - almond milk at breakfast for cereal .
2- One of the two meds ( the one I slept in ) was like sleeping on a slab of cement . I woke up in pain because it was so hard . The other bed was softer , which we didn’t realize until the next morning .
- Wendy (8/5): - Location is perfect comfortable beds Needs some updates
- Amanda (8/5): -
- Cade (5/5): We will never again stay at a quality inn again. - We along with other guest had no hot water the entire stay, absolutely terrible. We asked hotel attendants when it would be fix, there reply was the next day each time.
- Monica (10/5): -
- Thansaithong (7/5): -
- Leticia (10/5): -
- donald (10/5): -
- Heidi (6/5): The staff are not overly friendly but they were not mean. - It was located to a lot of restaurants. We walked right next door to eat. The tub did not empty. We told the front desk and we thought they fixed it but the water still filled up in the tub when showering.
- Delyth (10/5): -
- Imelda (1/5): Would not recommend. - Did not use the breakfast. Our first morning there they were out of coffee. We had no hot water for two days, and they offered no discount for the inconvenience. The beds are so high it was almost impossible to get into them (I'm 5'3" and 71 years old). They did no cleaning for 4 days. No comfortable chairs. Had a diesel truck outside our room one morning that just sat there running, and the fumes came into our room. The desk clerks were nice, but the rest of the stay was bad. Will not return.
- Debra (6/5): - Clean room. Comfortable beds. No hot water.
- Heidi (8/5): - Hotel breakfast was great - room was fine and bed slept great- but the best perk of this stay is the restaurant /bar next door. Amazing smash burger (fresh hamburger and homemade sauces) and house salad was fantastic. Great to just walk a few steps to it.
- Shelley (6/5): - Hotel is ok, not the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in (and we travel for work)
When we checked in the gal was pretty busy on her cell phone.
The bed and the shower were great! The only positive!
Went down to get some breakfast. Nothing hot, had to ask at the front desk. A very young lady came in and put 6pieces of cold sausage in the warmer. When we asked her about eggs, her response was oh we’re out! When asked about the cold sausage she said throw it in the microwave yourself while she played on her phone.
It’s a place to sleep that’s it!
- Frank (10/5): - Beds were great.
- Heike (8/5): - It's an older Quality Inn. No elevator. And no signage on the 2nd floor showing where stairs and room numbers are. The bathrooms need some TLC. No stopper in the sink. The kleenex cover was rusty and the showerhead goes from a stinging waterspray to blobs of water. The parking lot needs to be resurfaced.
- Daria R (10/5): Great weekend stay! - This is the second year we've stayed at this location during the Mothman Festival weekend. Again had a great stay! The area is great, we visited the Apple Festival downtown and weren't far from our destination.
- Shawn (8/5): - Room was clean and spacious. A few things were in need of repair, but nothing major. Staff were very nice.
- Peter (4/5): - A bit run down - pull down curtain to main window didn’t work. Constant odour of sulpher in the bathroom. Could not access room with room key - after three try’s we were were issued another room.
- Carmelitta (6/5): -
- Scarlett (8/5): The location is great and the facility is quiet. Loved the beds and pillows. - The shower mat needed to be changed.
- Glenda (5/5): -
- Lang (3/5): I know it's in a little town but it needs a lot of updating and painting - Poor Hardly any variety.
- Edward (4/5): - Upkeep and maintenance overdue (painting, carpet, etc.
- Todd (10/5): - No elevator
- Brenda (8/5): We had a wonderful time. Staff was wonderful - It was very clean The hall light in our room flickered.
- Deanna (4/5): - Most of staff was helpful and nice .
- Brenda (8/5): Would definitely recommend staying here. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean - It was convenient. It was very clean inside.
- nick (4/5): - This place smelled like old doritos and it was probably due to severe mold in the building. It also seemed like roaches would walk around at any second (although I never saw any). It just felt plain gross to be walking in there.
- Erin (8/5): Staff is excellent! - The staff was wonderful! Especially Jerome and Mary Jane. Carpets definetely needs cleaned. Bathtub was grimy. Front desk workers very accomodating.
- Evan (10/5): - We usually stay at this quality inn while visiting family in Jackson. very accomadating.
- Joanna (10/5): - So far so good
- Randy (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Clean, quiet and comfortable room
- Aleeca (8/5): -
- Deanna (6/5): - Wish it was clearer
- Kenneth (8/5): - Was good hotel
- Cindy (10/5): - We just needed a place to stay for the night.
- Elizabeth (4/5): - Beds and pillows were comfortable and checking in was easy. I found chewed gum on the lamp and the bathtub didn't go cold at all only less hot and hotter, and where cold should have been it just shut off completely.
- Barbara (10/5): Definitely worth the stay - We were missing our microwave and coffee pot because the previous guest had ruined them. The lady in the lobby went out of her way to make sure I had fresh hot coffee and a way to heat our food.
- Pape (8/5): - No elevator
- Johnny (8/5): Good - Staff was very friendly room was
Clean bed was very comfortable only
Thing I would recommend is upgrading the shower had only option it had was the hard spray options
- Kathy (8/5): - The place is older. Our room had a real humidity problem, it was extremely hot outside. The room was clean and quiet.
- Alfred (7/5): -
- Jenifer (6/5): Probably won't stay here again for next visit - The hotel staff was friendly. The accommodations were ok. I was placed in an ADA room and the condition of the room surprised me. There is a sliding wood door for the bathroom - it is either broken or off track - it only closed halfway and then wouldn't budge when I tried to open it. There was something black on the walls next to the tub - looks like mold to me. The shower head had a piece of plastic tied around it...not sure what the purpose of that is. And as I'm in the middle of my shower, I noticed these little black hairs all over the shower surround wall. It looked like little beard hairs. I also noticed another type of hair on the surround wall...so gross! There was some kind of food or sauce on top of the fridge. There were 3 facial tissues in the box.
- Misty (10/5): -
- Scott (8/5): - A little out dated but in decent shape
- Jen (2/5): Don't stop here, keep driving to the next town!! - When we pulled up to check in, the front desk lady was outside smoking with her friends and made us wait while she finished her cigarette. The hallway had a horrible odor due to a gentlemen cooking his dinner on a hot plate in his room with the door wide open. Our room had a moldy smell. I ended up having an allergic reaction to the smell. The pillows were so smooshed, you couldn't sleep with just 1. Then the bathroom had long hairs all over the tub and towels.
- Teresa (8/5): - Air conditioning unit stinks it just needs cleaning
- Dwayne (4/5): - Needs to be cleaned thoroughly
- Dave (2/5): - We needed to stop and rest. The room had not been vacuumed as we found Garbage under the table in the room. A pen cap on the floor. Bed sheets did not appear to have been changed. Hotel smelled and the room was very damp.
- Timothy (10/5): - Good room to sleep in.
- Christine (4/5): - It was really worn down, dirt in corners. The area looked really sketchy. There were two fried eggs in the container and they looked disgusting, not much of anything there. I would not recommend staying there.
- Wittkamper (8/5): Very good - Clean, comfortable beds The “hot breakfast” was pathetic
- Timur (8/5): - Room smelled very bad
- Celeste (8/5): Adequate, clean, comfortable. Needs updating / refreshed -
- Misty (8/5): Very good - The smell coming from the other room into the hallway and into my room.
- marina (10/5): - good breakfast
- carl (8/5): - Like game room pool needs upgrade which I think is being done
- Cynthia (5/5): Passable -
- Donna (10/5): - Our stay was fine. The room was clean, which is most important to me. I felt safe. Breakfast was mostly gone by the time we got there, and no one was around to easily ask. Desk clerk was busy on the phone. It was ok, especially for the price. Check in was easy. I'd stay there again, just go earlier for breakfast!
- Jill (3/5): I believe this particular hotel was of extremely low quality for a Quality Inn. - The breakfast was terrible compared to other hotels. There was no fresh fruit, no hot food, low quality yogurts, no eggs, other hotels are doing a much better job of putting out healthier and hot breakfasts these days as we travel all over the U.S.
Coffee was the best thing at the hotel The bathroom was of extremely low quality and seemed to be from the 60’s; shower & toilet was of very poor quality .
Breakfast was terrible, we choose not to eat.
- jillc15 (2/5): Simiply not worth your money period, it’s way below a Quality Inn Standard - First, it’s the most expensive hotel in the area, yet I rated the same as a Hotel 6.
It’s on the noise Main Street of town. Customers are greeted with very little customer service, a dirty hallway and even dirtier door you must go thru ( have they not heard of Mr. clean sponges yet)? Room was clean though, but so outdated it had to go back to the 60’s. The smallest toilet I have ever seen (and I am small). Breakfast is cereal, small waffles, cheap yogurts and bread items…really pathetic compared to almost all others now. Coffee was ok.
I highly suggest trying another hotel not in town or simply keep pressing on.
- William (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Lori (8/5): Sketchy exterior, Clean interior - The front desk lady was not happy that we brought our whole team to their hotel. The intetior was very clean. The exterior is not inviting at all.
- Erik (5/5): If I were to come back to Jackson, I would be going somewhere else. - Easy to access from main thoroughfare. No automatic doors, making taking luggage on a buggy difficult to get into the building and throughout the hallways.
Also, I was asked three times by the same person if I was checking out within the span of 10 minutes. (Walking outside, after finishing my breakfast with my trash plate still in hand, and walking back to my room) This was also more than three hours before required checkout.
- james (8/5): - Clean easy friendly just average hotel
- Galen (2/5): -
- Galen (2/5): - shower drain did not work, they did not repair it for day 2
- Evan (10/5): - convience to dining and shopping
- Brian (6/5): - Check in was fine. Building is definitely showing its age but was ok. Room was ok but shower could have been cleaner. Beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was ok but options were limited. Coffee not great. Overall stay was not bad. Would stay there again.
- Hunt (4/5): It was not the quality I would expect from a quality inn - It is convenient It is outdated . The stained doors were all scratched up , the shampoo holder was broken so the shampoo was laying beside the tub . It needed repairs .
- Sarah (8/5): - Clean and comfy enough for our one-night stopover during a road trip. Breakfast and coffee were great!
- Dustin (8/5): - Clean room and friendly staff
- Katti Jo (6/5): - Lady at front desk was very nice and welcoming
- 642SaraD642 (6/5): Weekend get away - Hotel was clean, felt safe, and the bed was comfortable, but overall , it is older and dated. There isn't an elevator, so if you have difficulty with stairs make sure to ask for a ground floor. There is breakfast, but we didn't have it. Several places to eat near the hotel.
Overall, we will stay there again.
- Micheal (8/5): Comfortable and helpful - Comfortable place to stay and helpful staff.
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
- Sonya (10/5): - Would like fresh water available
- Tammy (8/5): Very good -
- Derrick (2/5): - This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was maybe a step above county jail.
- Duane (10/5): - It was cheap, close to where I wanted to stop to sleep. Room was clean, and with a good layout. They provided a good selection of food delivery options
- David (6/5): - Breakfast was very basic
- Todd (10/5): - Okay
- Wendy (8/5): Very good - MJ at the front desk, WONDERFUL!!! She was so very helpful. I had to move rooms due to an issue in the bathroom. She went to inspect the room I was switched to to make sure there were no issues. So kind and sweet. Very welcoming front desk help!!
- layn (10/5): - Great for business travel
- layn (10/5): - It was perfect for my business trip
- William (8/5): Very good - Decent breakfast but could have had more variety & options to choose from
- Mary (5/5): Passable -
- Pat (6/5): - The hallway carpet had what appeared to be parts of cookies scattered on it in several places. The toilet in the room ran every several minutes. The freezer in the fridge had quite a bit of frost in it but worked. The bedspread on one of the two beds appeared to be soiled.
- Douglas (4/5): - The breakfast was terrible, had to ask for food, all trays were empty. Then it was cold when food was brought out so had to microwave it.
- james (6/5): - Nice, quiet & convient
- Lacey (6/5): Pleasant -
- Myra (6/5): - Needs updating. Pillows smelled like body odor
- Adam (8/5): - Close to highway, easy check and online reservation
- Chad (1/5): Would not recommend this place at all. Staff nice but facility is outdated and not maintained. - Room had a sink that was backed up. Staff was nice and helped move to another room that also had a slow draining sink. Plug in bathroom you could see wires.
- Ronald (6/5): Could have used an elevator. - Good, small but adequate.
- Frolov (5/5): Passable -
- David K (8/5): - This Quality Inn was a good older property. Things were quiet, clean, and neat. Breakfast was good and sufficient. The staff were helpful and personable.
