Just down the road from Cadillac Ranch and the Stations of the Cross in Groom, Texas. The big white cross you can see from interstate 40.

- Douglas (8/5): - Clean bathroom
Clean bedding Nothing comes to mind
- Douglas (9/5): - Beds and bathroom were clean Didn't really bother me, but rained hard and water got under the door
- anita (8/5): -
- Patricia (7/5): Comfortable night . - An older property just recently purchased by present owner. They are slowly renovating . Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Owner very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was pre packaged breakfast items like donuts, and a breakfast bar, and a piece of fruit in a to go bag.
Able to park right in front of room door. Nothing considering the property is being renovated.
- Toni (9/5): -
- Dirk (8/5): -
- Karen (8/5): - It was very quaint and quiet. It was just old and likely need some renovation
- Lukas (9/5): -
- Jill (9/5): -
- Marissa (6/5): - Was comfortable Parking lot size cat park. Couldn’t park due to cars with trailers. Not enough room. Walls in rooms are falling apart.
- Deborah (10/5): -
- Tanya (4/5): Glad we just were passing through - Easy access to I 40. Park in front of unit. Working AC and mini fridge. Friendly staff Carpet didn’t look very clean. Room had a smell. The 2 upholstered chairs were very well used.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Douglas (8/5): -
- Marlene (7/5): A+ hospitality, affordable, clean - Our host Gabriel was so welcoming. Even had treat bags to go, fresh fruit and an assortment of coffees and creamers. This is a very old property that is being renovated. The bathtub was heavily stained and unappealing.
- Karen (8/5): NO TO OYO - I t was very adaquate, especially the Kurige I do not like the additional the $100.00 deposit to OYO for 30 days so they can "use" my money. I Have stopped staying at OYO motels for this reason. What if I stayed in 10 motels managed by OYO, would I have $1000.00 dollars tied up for 30 days while OYO was "making" interest money off my deposit. And what about a thousand people each night.. NO You take advantage of places like Vega Motel
- Nancy (3/5): Below my expectations - The owners were very friendly but obviously didn't have much experience in running a motel. The bathtab had a ring of soap scum around it and the bathtub faucet dripped which wasted precious water. When I ask for some ice they gave me a tiny tiny bit, maybe three cups of ice. I thought that was very chintzy.
- Bobbe (1/5): - I canceled my reservation after arriving at location. It looked like a something you'd see on the next episode of first 48.
- terri (9/5): - Availability and the owners was excellent Rooms a little outdated but they are working to upgrade
- Chris (10/5): -
- Chris (10/5): Great stay and veteran owned. -
- Michael (10/5): A great night's sleep at a great price in a nice Texas town. - I had been on the road for 3 weeks and this hotel provided me with my first quiet, comfortable, restful, night's sleep. The owner has been working very hard to improve the property over time and available funds allowing. When you buy an old school Route 66 hotel you are facing many challenges. He has done a tremendous job from what I could see. I will stay there every time I pass that way.
- Joyll (10/5): - Convenient Bathroom tub was very small
- TULLY (5/5): - Pet fee, door didn't seal cold air came in at night, tap water was cloudy, property needs a face lift
- TULLY (5/5): Not a Chevy Vega - Parking Noise from the highway, tap water was cloudy, new owners have some work to do the property is showing it's age ,a little over priced and $15 per pet fee ouch
- Catalin (8/5): -
- Michael (9/5): Decent. - Family run motel in quite a nice Texas town Most restaurants in the town were closed. The Indian was good.
- James (8/5): -
- Thomas (9/5): -
- Jean (8/5): -
- Maryline (4/5): - Son emplacement Son prix et son manque de confort
- Christine (9/5): Good hotel on 66. - Good location. Comfortable bed and good facilities.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast and good coffee.
Good restaurant next door. A couple of cockroaches in the room and a spider in the sink.
- David (10/5): -
- Miles (6/5): Ok - Right off the highway Cleaning could be better, someone else’s shaving hairs still on the sink. “Breakfast included” was a paper bag with 3 packaged pastries
- William (10/5): - The guy at the office was friendly. The grab abd go breakfast was a nice surprise and appteciated. The k-cup coffee selection was amazing.
- Cecily (8/5): - We stayed on a Sunday night and the motel had no more than 5 rooms occupied so I don't understand why they had to cluster 3-4 rooms in a row. The people in the next 2-3 rooms down from us were all workers who knew each other so spent lots of time talking outside their rooms Sunday night before turning in and again on Monday morning when they emerged around 5-5:30am. They were outside talking and laughing for 30 minutes or so before heading out for the day. We had not planned to wake up that early!
- Annoma (8/5): Clean and nice - The Bed was too hard for me but it's hard to find a hotel bed that is just right and the lighting ( especially over the bathroom sink ) was very dim. I would stay here again as the room was very clean and nice. Hard bed and dim lights
- marc (8/5): -
- Larry P (8/5): I-40 tx - We needed a place quickly. This is a small place, nice room with plenty of coffee. Owner is very nice and provides bagged breakfast
- Penelope (10/5): Awesome staff - The front desk was very nice and the free breakfast was great too! As well as all the coffee choices.
- Andy (10/5): Highly recommend to anyone passing through Vega, TX - Owner was very polite and generous. I checked in very early in the morning, and he was very flexible about the process. He also gave me water bottles for the next leg of my trip!
- Emilio (3/5): -
- Alan (10/5): - Manager was wonderful. Made me feel very welcome
- Gloria (7/5): Good -
- Tesha (7/5): Good -
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Albert (4/5): Disappointing -
- Kimberly (2/5): SCAM - We booked the room and when we arrived they said they didn't have a room for us. They charged us anyway even though we didn't stay there and they said we wouldn't get charged. TOTAL SCAM
- Debbie (6/5): - No tv service. Was nice that that had breakfast bags for us
- Collette (10/5): Quaint, well priced rooms with the old route 66 ambiance. - The owner was wonderful and very helpful. I enjoyed the room. It was clean, everything worked, and the air conditioning was superb. The shower pressure was strong and hot. I have zero complaints. N/A
- Collette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): - Bed was very comfortable. Nice Manager. Nice stay for a good price. Nice old style Roadside Motel!!!
- JONATHAN (6/5): - Average review for an average motel. This is neither good nor bad… Just average. It’s a place to rest your head when you need it.
- ELIZABETH (8/5): - Bed was a little hard
- Sharon L (8/5): - Much better than it appears from outside meticulously cleaned and nicely furnished. The man who checked us in was over the top kind and nice
- Jason (10/5): - Good owners
- Robert (6/5): - Place was clean. TV nice and large. Refrigerator works well.
Fan in bathroom very noisy.
Toilet didn't flush
No ice available.
- Diane (8/5): Very good - It was a great hotel if you just wanted to sleep for a reasonable price.
- Jason (7/5): Good -
- CONNIE (10/5): - Really old and outdated. Nice front desk.
- Diane (6/5): Might want to travel on to the next town. - It was quiet because no one else was staying there. The bed was comfy. The hotel name had changed, as well as things the website/photos promised ... like a hot breakfast. The pool was filled in with sand. There were no decent restaurants in town, so we ended up getting food from the truck stop. One lamp needed a new lightbulb.
- Russell (8/5): - Hotel was clean and comfortable. Not much of a breakfast
- John (4/5): Disappointing - It was late and quiet
- Kirk (10/5): - Great roadside motel! Clean and well maintained room. Staff was excellent and helpful. Had a morning breakfast in a bag to go, very convenient! Highly recommend.
- Brenda (3/5): Poor -
- Yudith (8/5): decent night stay - This small hotel is worth it.. the hot water and pressure in the shower was incredible..the owner has security cameras and Mr Patel was so nice. He offers morning breakfast in bags but they were decently filled and plenty of coffee to choose from.
- Carol (10/5): Great place to stay. Would stay there again - It was quaint like the town. Very clean, comfortable bed. Shower was hot. We had a bagged breakfast made up with lots of goodies in. Mini muffins, sweet roll, banana, granola bar, cheese and crackers. Person at desk was very nice and helpful. Everything to like. No dislikes
- Barbara (8/5): Traveling thru we had to make an unexpected stop.our travel van water pump went out so we couldn’t camp With that, we - Mr Patel was so kind. He knew of our travel van wows and was very helpful. Just a little dated
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Victoria (10/5): - I have stayed at Americas Best Value Inn in Vega many times, and I am always pleased with the service. It is an older motel, and sometimes things are not perfect, but I have found that if I talk with the owner, he will fix anything. The room I stay in is always very clean and comfortable.
- julie (2/5): -
Beds were awful outdated. Breakfast not included
- Pat (10/5): Exceptional - Clean comfortable room. Spacious parking Iot for our vehicle and trailer. Great selection of coffee! Loved the "to go" breakfast!
- Richard (10/5): Great place! - Clean, quiet, great service.
- Louenda (10/5): Very positive experience, great price, easy access, very clean and manager went out of his way to help us park our RV. S - Very nice, older but very well maintained and very clean. Very friendly and so helpful. We were caught in a snowstorm with our RV. Convenient, safe and easy parking across from our room. Coffee bar and breakfast sacks to go. Definitely would stay here again. Nothing an all.
- Wendt (8/5): A pleasant stay. No issues. - Nice proprietor. Clean facility. Nice to go breakfast. Excellent coffee. Didn’t have any king beds.
- Roxane (10/5): - We wanted something on the way to Cadillac Ranch without ending up in Amarillo only to turn around in the morning to come back to the attraction. This affordable motel is also adorably decorated, not in a generic way, so you get that Route 66 feel. Decorative appointments are subtle, and rooms are warmly lit. My pet peeve is any lodging that uses "daylight" colored bulbs (think maximum security prison) in their fixtures instead of soft white. This location of America's Best Value Inn uses only the warmest of light, and all the fixtures in our room were working. So many lodgings have lamps that are either unplugged o burnt out. The manager was friendly and helpful, offering me a hot drink on arrival from a huge variety of K-Cup selections, including my favorite chai latte. I was grateful not to spend extra money on a hot breakfast we wouldn't enjoy. The popular selections in the fresh grab-and-go bags included fruit and granola bars along with baked goods.
- Krystal (7/5): Good -
- Jeff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (10/5): - Great place for an overnight stay
- Clodagh (10/5): - Convenient location. Clean, beds good. Very comfortable. I ate before I came as previous review said not much around and that was correct.
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marcus (4/5): - It was convenient and there isn't much around. Next time I will go to Tucumcari or Amarillo
- Thewickedwitchwest1 (4/5): We rested well, then left early - What breakfast? It is what it is, a pkace to sleep for 1 night that accepts pets
- Randy (6/5): Friendly but older Rooms - The Man that check us in was friendly, but it was an older place and not as updated for the price. Some of the ceiling tiles was damaged and kinda looked a little neglected.
- Douglas (10/5): - I didn't know what to expect in a remote little town. Exceeded my expectations.
- LindaEllen (8/5): - Breakfast to go bag provide at check out
- Doye (10/5): Enjoyable stay - Grate place to stay good service
