Guest Reviews
- Melanie (5/5): - Location. Breakfast was good. Shower pressure. One room booked, the AC was not working. The other room we ended up in, the AC was working but we turned it off but the room stayed cold the whole time. Never had heat properly.
We didnt know there were 2 hotel buildings. One, breakfast is continental and started at 5am. The one we were in was a sit down breakfast, started at 6am, but we never told it started at 7 on Sunday. Considering we were there for the bird count and had early mornings, the sit down breakfast didnt work for us with a 7am start time. 6am did work, but only because we didnt do the first early morning activity.
Hot tubs were not working in either location.
- Anita (3/5): Poor. - Breakfast felt like a scam, had to pay some money out of pocket, on their website they said free Breakfast. Room stink of cigarettes bathroom faucet are nasty
- Julius (7/5): - Location was great and convenient for work and eating out. The bathroom was small, in terms of access with closing the door. I felt the hallways were dated. The price per night didn't reflect the cost compared to other hotels.
- Elaine (1/5): Would never stay agai.would not recommend - It was old and dated. Could not have ground floor as there was no air conditioning. Pipes banged all night loudly.
- Jayne (4/5): - When our air-conditioning wasn’t working the front desk clerk was nice to give us a fan and try to move us to another room. The shower doesn’t work properly. It was like having a bath and a shower at the same time. The hotel smells like pee, mixed with flowery fragrances to cover it up.
- Lesyk (2/5): No very accommodating for people with disabilities. Would not stay again and would not recommend thi - The breakfast was o ly for one guest. The other had to pay. The staff in the restaurant was awsome When we booked the stay ,we requested to have the main floor. When we got the confirmation about our room we seen it had no elevator so I called and requested a room on the main floor. I told them that I have MS was don’t do stairs very well they said it would not be a problem to get a room on the main floor. When arrived they put us on the second level we again told them that I had requested the main floor , she was so rude said they did have anything on the main floor. That I would loss my deposit if I canceled so we went to our room . It had no blow dryer no coffee. Went down and asked if they could please find a dryer said they don’t have on for that room. Again mentioned about the stairs asked if they could move us closer to the stair so I do t have to walk to the other end of the building after doing the stairs , our room was closer to the stair it made it a littler easier to get to our room. Still no coffee in room. The bathroom was very dirty have photos to show. Good thing we were only in our room To sleep
- Tao (8/5): - The mirror light cover of washroom suddenly fell to the ground in the midnight.
- Eric (3/5): If these items listed above were fixed and charging outlets updated for todays usuage then it would have been a more enj - Quiet Older bathroom shower unit didn’t work and plug in tub needed to be assembled to work

- Andre (7/5): The beds were comfy. Maybe a haunted strip club on site - The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.
And they have a nice little Arboretum with Coi fish. My daughter liked feeding the fish. I’m not saying it’s janky, but there seems to be a haunted, abandoned/locked down strip club called “spin” attached to the hotel with the neon still flashing and light are on like they are open business.
The TVs in both rooms we booked were not working and there are no phones in the rooms, so you have to walk all the way to the front desk for assistance.
and the floor in my family’s room constantly felt like it was damp
And some of the restaurants staff were a bit rude
- Marnie (6/5): -
- Randy (4/5): It was ok as me and my brothers were just there for a night when attending my aunts funeral - Breakfast and location was good The mattress was shot and room was to hot
- Rachelle (7/5): -
- Donald (9/5): -
- Connie (8/5): Successful Christmas party. - I had to carry my belongings up 2 flights of stairs with multiple trips and no one offered to help.
- Darlene (10/5): Wonderful - I always stay at this property when staying in Brooks
- Karnell (10/5): -
- tom (2/5): Avoid this place, polished terd. - Room was nice. The junkies arguing and physically fighting in the hallway till 2 am. Staff did nothing about it. I finally called RCMP when I heard a child crying in the same room.
- Hegland (8/5): -
- Gurlal (10/5): -
- Liz (8/5): - Beds were comfy, good breakfast No elevator. I can't do stairs well. The room numbers were confusing, got lost.
- Tanya Franz (2/5): - Staff were friendly and kind The room air was either off or broken and could not be adjusted. The room stayed above 25 degrees the entire stay. The water temp was difficult to adjust as the hot water tap kept shutting off randomly.
- Candice (10/5): Was good - Great location, lovely staff
- Carla (9/5): -
- Vernon (7/5): -
- Sumandeep (8/5): -
- Daniel (3/5): - The bed was comfortable. No air conditioning, even with the temperature being low and the window open (with no screen), the room was extremely warm over night.
The smoke detector was out of date and beeping continuously.
- Katsiaryna (1/5): Extremely disappointed- especially not worth the price - The hotel is aweful. Old, over ran, dirty. Could not take my shoes off inside the room- dirty, old, no upkeep at all.

- Liana (7/5): -
- Belmira (9/5): - I like your stuff. Front desk ladies are very friendly and helpful. The motel is a little bit outdated, but everything is very clean. I didn't like breakfast. It would be nice to have more coffee in the rooms, more toiletries in the bathroom
- Vadym (9/5): -
- Dmytro (10/5): -
- Branka (2/5): - Breakfast was ok-ish, extra charge if you want bread, though. The whole place is very dated. The bathroom is tiny, and the water was literally cutting out. It took me 5 tries to brush my teeth. It just stops, and then super loud rambling of pipes in the wall starts. The shower head is all wobbly in the wall, and the tub was not properly washed. There is no fan in the bathroom. Paint is literally peeling of the walls.
Bed was dipped in. Furniture just dated. We overlooked the atrium, and you can't open the windows, so there is no airflow. Overall, it's not good. We won't be back.

- Travelgirl (5/5): Cheap - but for a reason. Clean with comfy beds but insanely loud and old. - Hotel was in a good spot and is pet friendly at an additional cost of $20. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy and the reception staff were ok. It was so loud. The doors on the rooms are old, the pipes are old and you could hear everything at all times. We barely slept and ended up cutting our weekend away short as we were so tired. Bring earplugs.

- Leanthea (10/5): Highly recommend locals using this facility for housing out of towners.they care for their community. - The staff are amazing. They really try to cater to the needs of the patrons It was great
- Gina (9/5): -
- Tammy (10/5): -
- Lucio (8/5): -
- Leanthea (10/5): We stayed at this property for nearly 3 months due to a lack of short term rentals. The staff have made our stay comfort - The hotel is centrally located in Brooks and has easy access to all amenities. They genuinely care about their guests and the community. The staff and management are friendly. If you have family coming to Brooks, support this establishment because this business is committed to enriching the community of Brooks.
- Eric (10/5): -
- Md Zahed (7/5): Overall good. - Easy to check-in and check-out. Staffs were good. Items in the breakfast fullfilled my morning hunger. We found the Wi-Fi internet speed at night very slow. I also found some weird smell in and outside of the hotel. I do not know if there is any livestock farm nearby the hotel or not (should not be, LOL). However I had a sound sleep duing my stay.
- Johanne (5/5): -
- Pamela (10/5): Great value for price. - It’s was clean and I he staff was so friendly. Great value for your money for sure. Breakfast was great.
- Douglas (8/5): - Convenient location. Good beds. Breakfast "buffet" was inedible, cold & soggy. But waitress did get the kitchen to do up some scrambled eggs, which were good.
Very noisy plumbing. Inside room had a window to the arboretum, but it could not be opened. A/C was too loud to leave on, so room got very stuffy.
- Reidun (6/5): Good price, great night sleep. A few minor maintenance improvements could have made it excellent. - Breakfast was great, better than most. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Booked online spur of the moment to attend an event at the hotel, and it was convenient and available. Bathroom door didn't latch, bathroom sink tap leaked on floor, no power in TV outlet, remote on other TV didn't work properly.
- Ivan (5/5): - The location was great for food and shopping comes with parking next to inn. There was no lift if you needed it, and there was a wedding on the day we stayed, so we woken up at 2am till 3am kids and adults talking in corridors, so bring ear plugs.
- Carine (8/5): Parfait - Tout était parfait Rien
