Guest Reviews
- Tara (6/5): Was okay but won’t stay here in the future - Value Noisy
- Iron stand (1/5): -
- Diane (8/5): - Need handicapped room with pet but I didn't ask.
- Aidan (8/5): To short of a stay would stay longer - The room was awesome. Service was accommodating, friendly staff There was cold water coming out of the jets it Jacuzzi

- Martina (4/5): Meh - Breakfast was not included. We paid for breakfast at the attached restaurant and that was actually fantastic and the highlight of our stay, vs some of the issues we had in the hotel. The carpets in the hallways were all rippled and we kept tripping. The hinges in our kids room were ripped out of the door frame at the top and the door was almost impossible to close. Our room had 2 half rolls of toilet paper provided when we arrived and we ran out and went to the front desk to get more. They would not give us any and said we had to wait for housekeeping. The website says they offer room service but do not. Website says they have off sales for liquor and beer, but all that was available was single bottles of beer. We asked for an extra key card as there were six of us staying between two rooms. The extra key was only programmed for one night, so on the second night we got stuck outside the side door and couldn't get in. They obviously assisted their internal system for daylight savings so our requested/automated wake up call came an hour early. Men's bathroom in hotel lobby had a stall door pretty much ripped off.
- Sherry (6/5): Budget hotel based on price and dated facilities was comfortable but will stay elsewhere next time. - Location was good, middle of town right on the main drag. Lowest price for lodging (for several reasons), front desk staff was nice. Featured amenities were lacking: the atrium was not open my entire stay, whirlpool still out of commission (very long time based on previous reviews), the room was dated with a large red stain on the carpet, advertised breakfast items were not available. And after booking online through Booking.com (because there are no other options) breakfast was not available to add to the room.
- Gina (7/5): -
- Antonio (Tony) (8/5): - Location, breakfast voucher, price per night, friendly staff and beds were comfortable. Very hot in room, big fan running all night. Thermostat didn’t seem to be working.
- Wes (8/5): -
- Lukasz (7/5): -
- Don (5/5): Adequate - Location to Chop House was good for walking Leaking toilet noise at night, strange banging during the night.
Good place for labourers working in area, not so great people looking at a vacation spot.
- Glenda (9/5): Great - Clean and comfy The rooms were way too hot
- Mike (8/5): -
- Dustin (10/5): Loved it will be returning - Friendly staff clean rooms and the food was excellent

- Lawrence (5/5): - Breakfast was great The bed was like sleeping in a canoe
- Dan (10/5): - Perfect location for our stay
- Oleh (5/5): it is OK to stay there if nothing available around. - The room was clean with two queen beds; everything worked. Poor soundproofing; the noisy neighbours keep slamming the door up to midnight. No breakfast included in the price; the heating system doesn't work; only the dish heater wos doing the job.

- Darryl (9/5): -
- BRIAN (7/5): -
- David (6/5): - It’s dated. It was one night just needed a place to stay, the best part was how good the breakfast was the next morning. It was quiet and met our needs for the night but I wouldn’t do an extended stay.
- Brooklyn (2/5): - Our thermostat was broken in our room, the front desk agent was extremely rude, the toilet in the room didn’t flush, the bathtub was moldy. This place all in all was disgusting and I would never stay here again. The staff is so demanding up front, they expect you to pay a $250 damage deposit which is the highest I have ever paid and for what? The facilities at this hotel are awful.
- Elise (8/5): -
- jacqueline (8/5): Great value for money, very nice staff - Convenience N/A
- Sandra (8/5): - We were here for a wedding. We found the facilities and meal excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but dated. Toilet ran continuously and didn’t flush well.
- jan (8/5): -
- Carina (7/5): -
- Heather (5/5): -
- Laura (8/5): - Staff where attentive and helpful. The room was clean, bed comfy. The hotel is old and thebage showes. The hot tub and sauna both out of order. The bar is old, but cold beer and great staff. Peefect for what it was ment for...get a good sleep, have a shower and move on.
- Lausen (10/5): -
- Margaret (8/5): - Needs to have exits clearly marked. Awkward layout in our room.
- Sheetal (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Klaus (5/5): - Location on our way east. Room large. The staff at the breakfast were great. Need to be an octopus to reach the toilet paper from the toilet! Bed frame larger than mattress made it a challenge to not get banged when getting in/out of bed. Not properly directed to room through the maze of the layout of the hotel.
- Ronalee (8/5): -
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Bed was little soft but that could just be us .
No ac so room was hot !
Chairs in room need more padding .
You need more staff in restaurant !
Staff interaction was good .
- Barbara (4/5): - Property needs a Reno bad. We have stayed here annually for 20 years and they have not done any updates in that time. We were also charged more money than what Expedia said I owed. I will be looking in to this further.
- Greg (7/5): - Comfortable beds. Clean room. Breakfast included but only for two days of a three day stay. Told we were not eligible on check out day, and I have never had that happen at any property I’ve stayed at.
- Thomas (6/5): - room ok for an older hotel - restaurant was good
- Judy (8/5): - The staff and breakfast included is the best! My room was not very nice. I was in a nicer room the previous year
- Ad (7/5): -
- Janet (2/5): - Everything is very old bed was sagging in the middle curtains were falling off the wall food was good and lady at the front desk was nice
- Michael (7/5): good - n/a smell of smoke in room
- Karen (8/5): - Clean hotel. Come see bedding, friendly helpful staff.
- Catherine (8/5): - The beds weee very comfy, air conditioning was quiet, clean room. But close to the highway with a restaurant. Staff were great. The only downside was that sauna and hot tub under repairs but no prior notice on website. Has a quaint indoor garden-type area to sit in. Overall very nice stay.
- Julie (7/5): -
- Sandra (1/5): Horrible! - Nothing! Old, dirty, not maintained - filthy carpets, air conditioning did not work.
- Elaine (10/5): - Great stsy
- Mitch (10/5): -
- Benjamin (6/5): Pleasant - The hotel and room were clean. The amenities were fine. There was no AC in the room (the thermostat was set to 54 and the temperature was sitting around 75). There was a window heater that was constantly blowing hot air. It could not be turned off or controlled. The window also had no screen on it.
So we had to sleep in a hot room without AC, or with an open window to street-level letting bugs and whatever else inside. Not great.
- Anas (6/5): - Coffee machine dirty, very few toiletries, missing items included hand wash (just a bizarre soap was provided) tooth paste and a tooth brush, hair brush, water bottle, nothing is part of package. if you are stopping by unprepared, you'll be suggested by staff to visit the coop for said things.
- Liz (8/5): Very good - Convenient, quiet, comfortable No hot tub, lounge closed too early. I have lots of pain and stairs are difficult for me.
- Shauna (5/5): Passable - No Air conditioning
- Trinity (10/5): - great stay
- Marek (9/5): Superb -
- Brittney (10/5): - You need new beds
- yolande (4/5): - Could do with some updating.
- Michael (10/5): - Nice and clean. Great breakfast.
- Darren (6/5): Was a place to stay - It was fine, good enough for a night.
- Susan (10/5): - Really like the place. The atrium is lovely
- Camille (4/5): - Hello there ,
We stayed with you this weekend . Although the overall stay was alright, I wanted to share with you the disgust of the bathroom in our room.
The toilet was not clean and there was hair in the corners of the bathroom. In my own opinion(and I am sure most peoples opinion) the bathroom should be the cleanest part of any place.
I had to do a good clean of that bathroom before I would allow my family to use it . I donot feel this is my job.
Please advise on how this can be paid back to myself as I would like to leave a review on Expedia for your hotel but I wanted to give you the opportunity first to fix things
Thank you in advance !
- James (10/5): x - Excellent value for money and excellent breakfast.
- James (4/5): - Insane security deposit, sauna and whirlpool ate out of service, no hot water in the shower, the air conditioning doesnt work.
- Lessard (3/5): Poor -
- Nancy (9/5): We slept very well and were rested up for travel again. - It was just lovely breakfast sitting by a window with friendly staff. Hot tub jucuzzi didn't work.
- Brian (2/5): Would not let us check in early to hotel, even though we offered to pay no air conditioning and would not let us have a - Breakfast wasn’t horrible No air conditioning in the rooms. Front desk was very rude.
- Michelle (6/5): Pleasant -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dave (6/5): - it was weathered.
- Lisa (8/5): - The room was great, except for the air conditioning not working well, it was quite warm in the room. But the staff was wonderful and accommodating in providing a fan and they were very friendly.
- Josh (2/5): - Was so hot no ac and the heat would just constantly blow hot air into the room
- Kostamo (9/5): nice peaceful place - super good all good
- Darlene (8/5): - overall good expresience
- Wendy (10/5): - Very nice
- Trevor (8/5): Very good -
- Arnette (1/5): Very disappointed - We booked with breakfast but on Monday morning there was no breakfast. We didn't have much time before our appointment to find a place for breakfast. So it was very stressful. They also didn't compensate us for this inconvenience.
- Debbie (8/5): Very good -
- Josh (2/5): - Lobby and halls have ac but the rooms don’t room was at 89 degrees the entire time
- Sandra (8/5): - too expensive
- tommy (10/5): Taber heritage - 2nd time we have stayed here while working in Taber area and had a great experience both times!
- Tiffany (6/5): - Beds are comfy, AC worked in my room but hotel is in need of some serious TLC. The hallway with the water damage is terrible and the rugs aren’t much better with all the wrinkles.
Food and service were great.
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
- Anna (9/5): Our stay was wonderful, we enjoyed it, it was QUIET which nowadays is considered as a rare occasion. Everything was work - Nice location, quiet and fairly modern The space under the room entrance door was quite large and it was hard to fall asleep having all that light coming from underneath the door
- Lesley (6/5): - Good location while travelling the crows nest. Older hotel services not working whirl pool sauna etc . Food in restaurant not bad good parking for trailers
- Bonnie (6/5): - The stay reflected the price well. The carpet in the room was quite dirty but the beds and bathroom were very clean.
- Lorraine (5/5): Passable -

- Verified traveler (8/5): Go chargers! - No hot tub as promised. Hours posted for restraunt and lounge misleading
- Abouelkheir (7/5): Good -
