Guest Reviews
- Bettina (9/5): - Zentral gelegen. Super nettes Personal.
Und großzügige Räume.
Wir hatten ein sehr gutes Frühstück 😀
- Betty-Ann (8/5): Stressful trip... But great room and service - Good location, free breakfast, restaurant onsite. NO FAULT OF HOTEL OR STAFF, or door dasher... but an unfortunate situation.... We were there for a medical procedure... Our door dash order for supplies because of app operator, was mistakenly sent to the wrong room... Stolen by occupations... Staff did try to help us, but only so much they can do... We did make a police report.
- John (8/5): Comfortable - Easy access. Friendly Nothing
- Tim (6/5): -
- Lynnette (1/5): - They advertise themselves as pet-friendly but apparently that only applies to dogs, even after we explained that our cat would be confined to her solid based catio for the entire visit.
- Kari77 (9/5): Comfortable stay for 1 night - Bed was comfortable and it was clean Needs some updates in the pool & jacuzzi areas.
- Ping (8/5): It was nice - Convenience Clean
- Debbie (8/5): - While the facility does require some upgrading it was still comfy, clean and easy to access. They did offer a breakfast with the stay which was great!! I was happy to see on the menu that there was a yogurt option called a Koocanusa Bowl which would include, seasonal fresh berries, berry compont, roasted nuts, mint, drizzled honey, yogurt and granola. What I got was yogurt and a bit of granola, nothing else! I also ordered a bagel on the side which was like a hockey puck...not edible. If I had to pay $18.50 as the menu suggested I would have been even more disappointed!! If your offering you need to deliver on that offer.
- Elizabeth (6/5): Not terrible - Room was clean. Wasn't too expensive Tv didnt work (remote issues i think), toilet didnt flush proper. Says free breakfast, but server didnt tell us until after we ordered there were only certain breakfasts that qualified, food (pancakes) cold, server didnt come back with change
- Cole (9/5): -
- Janet (6/5): - Location TV was a bit confusing to function.
Bathroom fan was very loud.
Breakfast food was bad.
Everything was dated + a bit run down.
- Mariechrist (8/5): - Chambre confortable avec réfrigérateur et micro-ondes.
piscine chauffée. Petit déjeuner très basic.
- Gonske (5/5): Like traveling to India. - The location was okay, and the staff were friendly. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the foreign (East Indian?) music we had to listen to during breakfast was nauseating.
- Jennifer (10/5): Nice place - Location was good. No elevator to hot tub downstairs. For mobility impaired people its difficult.
- Kenneth (8/5): - Good breakfast, great staff. Many trains going by at night. But, can't do anything about that.
- susie (7/5): - On the main road
Includes breakfast The room was stuffy but did have air on.
Could hear the taps in other rooms.
Breakfast was ok but missed having toast.
- Cheri (8/5): -
- Darcy (5/5): - Local Dated
- Cheeseman (10/5): - Very affordable and the breakfast was delicious.
- Moses (7/5): -
- David (8/5): A great location and the breakfast vouchers were a definite plus! - Central location Old and outdated.
- Brenda (8/5): Awesome - I liked it it was clean and nice hotel is a little dated but was still nice My room key would stop working had to go to desk everyday to fix a room key
- Jen (10/5): -
- Doyle (8/5): -
- Gerry (7/5): -
- Susan (9/5): This hotel is a great value for the money. Clean, comfortable, with accommodating staff. - The breakfast was a nice included value! Tasty too, and met my dietary needs. The outside just needs a little more attention. For example, a few of the light bulbs need replacing over the covered entryway.
- Marv (6/5): It was ok - Location Breakfast pancakes were thin hockey pucks, there was no fruit or yogurt
- Draper (8/5): -
- Richard (8/5): the room was comfortable and I got a good sleep. Enjoyed the hot breakfast of bacon and eggs!! - the hot breakfast was great ni dislikes
- Nicole (7/5): - They were very knowledgable and easy to access The hot tub wasn’t hot in the pool was way too cold
- Angella (8/5): Good stay but breakfast could have offered healthier options. - It gave us what we needed. The breakfast had no fruit or bran cereal, so not many heathly options. The hot tub was the only reason we picked this hôtel but it was not hot.
- Dallas (4/5): I understand this is a budget option but it’s almost like there is no care for the guest at all. - Convenience and price. Just no attention to detail. Dirty cleaning rag on the floor outside my room when I arrived. Had to tell the staff, hot tub was cold, no towels at the pool. Elliptical in gym area not usable due to noise it makes. Plugs didn’t work on the lamp in the room. Fridge making noises all night. There are many small, no cost things this property could do to improve.
- Ineedacoffeenow (2/5): Just meh. - The heritage lounge was poor. It was not busy, yet it took almost 40 minutes to get my clubhouse sandwich. Yet someone who came in well after I orded got their food first. Never again.
- Clarke (1/5): -
- Susan (8/5): Overall I was very pleased with the price, cleanliness and comfort inside this hotel. - The breakfast was very good, as was the location. The only noticeable thing was the outdoor cleanliness. Lots of cigarette butter around the entrance.
- Noreen (5/5): The Heritage Inn looks tired. - Nice to have a buffet breakfast. Staff was good about filling empty dishes. Staff was very friendly. Jugs of juice at the buffet were essentially colored water, no juice flavor!! No hot water for tea when we were there at buffett.
Bathroom fan rattled like it was about to come apart and should have been replaced a while ago.
Decorative lights at front of building half burnt out, not a good look!
- E.P. (8/5): - Room was spacious and the couch was a nice touch. Hottub was luke warm, I asked for it to be turned up but by the next morning it was still not. There was someone working on it though.
- Glen (7/5): Comfortable, affordable stay with a good breakfast in Cranbrook - The room was reasonably quiet, even though it fronts on the main highway through Cranbrook. The bed was decent. The TV worked fine. The shower was OK. Nice touch having a sink both in the bathroom and outside the bathroom. Allows for more efficient preparation time. There was a table in the room that could be used for writing. The breakfast was good, with lots of choices and hot food. There was enough bacon in the buffet that one large man ate a huge plate of just that. It was something to see. I found the parking lot a bit shambolic, with no rhyme or reason to which direction vehicles park in or where they park. The property is on the older side and could use some upgrades, but overall it was kept clean and functional. The big sign outside the hotel didn't work, so it was a little hard to find in the dark.
- Kathy (8/5): Was a good stay. - Great breakfast. Hot and plentiful.
- Jennifer (6/5): Not very happy - Good location The room smelled of sewer, low grade room like a dog room where it’s all old. The toilet had mold in it. Carpet old and the furniture too. The electric plugins were loose and made my phone charger heat up after a short time.
- Dale (7/5): It was a nice place. - The breakfast was fantastic. A la carte was not explained. The pool and hot tub were not enjoyable due to the temperature.
- Douglas (10/5): - Great breakfast
- Brandon (8/5): -
- K.I.P. TRUCKING (10/5): - staff was very nice
hot breakfast was excellent
- Mulder (8/5): - Comfy bed. The breakfast was excellent! Hot and tasty hashbrowns and bacon! The restaurant waitress was very friendly and helpful.
- Janis (7/5): -
- Manuela (6/5): -
- Debby (7/5): -
- Bob (7/5): -
- Bart (9/5): We will stay there next visit. - Good rooms. Nice building .good breakfast. Nice staff All good
- Nancy (1/5): We will never go back. 0/10 would not recommend. - We didn’t like it at all. Was dirty. The guy at the front desk was rude.
Went to our room found hair and grime in our beds. The rooms were dirty. Beds were filthy. Filled with hair and grime/dirt.
- Jacqueline (8/5): Very comfortable but the shower wasn’t very good - It was convenient Nothing
- Brenda (5/5): Wouldn’t recommend or stay again. - Location was good Room smelled dank. Beds not comfortable. A/C did not function well. Generally needs updating as rooms are worn , dated and not functioning properly. Our room was at front next to parking and not as quiet as we would have liked.
- James (6/5): -
- Ray (8/5): -
- Rhonda (9/5): -
- Tokunaga (8/5): Good would stay there again - Breakfast was great room and beds were comfy
- Violet (7/5): -
- Malkit (4/5): -
- Debby (7/5): all good except for the breakfast - no choice buffet was cold
- Sheri (8/5): -
- Christopher (8/5): Great - Everything was great, no major problems at all.
- John (8/5): -
- Manuela (8/5): -
- Richard (6/5): - The price is reasonable. The restaurant in the hotel is not special but it is convenient. We liked the way the included breakfast was organized. The included part was up to a certain dollar value but you could pick anything on the menu and pay the difference. There seems to be some work toward rejuvenation so some areas look quite good. Other areas have big wrinkles in the carpet, mold in the bathroom, etc. The vending machine had a known issue that the front desk just shrugged off.
Controlling the heat and dryness in the room was challenging.
- Kathy (8/5): Had a good stay. - Excellent breakfast Nil
- Kenneth (8/5): - Good hotel, quiet.
- Scott (2/5): Spend $6 more a night and stay at the ramada down the road you won’t regret that. - Good location bed was ok. Front staff were friendly, but knew nothing, every question was answered with “you’ll have to ask the manager who is not in” and would only be there while I was away. Hot tub was barely warm, been in heated pools that were hotter, pool deck was dirty and felt gross to walk on in bare feet. Restaurant was empty at dinner time and after getting my meal I knew why. Included breakfast tasted good but was a joke, had to order from a menu up to $16, and pay extra to have a 3 sip child size glass of orange juice. Fit and finish in the room was laughable, it was fun pointing out how poorly it was updated. Shower head was useless and any 3yr old would love the tiny toilet. I would expect this from a $60 a night motel, props to the photographer that tricked me into booking this place.
- Carrie (9/5): - The breakfast was excellent Beds
- Mia (10/5): -
- Tara (8/5): -
- carolyn (3/5): -
- Owen (6/5): The strangest staff I have ever seen, obviously never trained for the job. - Nice room, very quiet Could not get in until 3:30, was supposed to include breakfast, but the restaurant was closed in the morning. They supplied a bag breakfast with a granola bar, juice box, apple or orange and two strange egg things. At no point during registration did they mention the lack of a proper breakfast.
- Nebojsa (7/5): - Docent size of room, beds were comfortable. One of two sinks were plugged and useless. Toilet bowl flash worked poorly.
- Julie (9/5): All good. We stay here every time we come for a visit. - The clean room..comfortable beds and clean linens. Love the 2 sinks where one is outside the main bathroom. Well appointed rooms. The view of construction equipment…not much you can The restaurant was closed over the Christmas holiday so we got bagged breakfast. The omelette wrap was soggy so could have a better option. Not a big deal as McDonald’s was open. Otherwise we prefer this hotel over others we’ve stayed in especially for the price.
- Shannon Rae (7/5): -
- Laurie (9/5): pleasant stay - Staff very friendly and accomodating as we arrived very late at night.
The free breakfast was a voucher to their onsite restaurant. where you had the option to upgrade to a different breakfast rather than the standard for the difference in price.
- Coster (8/5): - Location, breakfast, breakfast staff Found dirty cup under bed, had to ask for cups, coffee station wasn't filled in room.
- Sandra (10/5): Great experience even though we went somewhere else for breakfast. - Helpful staff Switching breakfast from off the menu to a buffet on Sunday.
- MickeyR163 (6/5): Surprisingly, not a decent experience. - Room was clean and modern. The breakfast was quite adequate. The pool, however was not useable as the water was too cold.
- Kate (4/5): -
- Berg (9/5): A good place to stay. - Very good breakfast. The hotel sign out front wasn't lit properly, so it was a bit hard to find.
- Gerald (10/5): Perfect for my needs. - Clean
Location
Helpful staff
- Denise (8/5): -
- Carmel (2/5): -
- Jason (7/5): -
- Dionne (8/5): Clean but old-perfect for a sports team ! - The staff were very accommodating and kind. The hotel was kept clean. The hotel was old and outdated but good for a quick, lower priced room for a kids hockey trip. I would choose a fancier and newer place for a romantic getaway, but for a team event it was great. Kids had lots of fun and lots of room to hang out.
- Jackie (4/5): Good except noise - The room was to noise could not sleep cause of noise
- Joy (8/5): -
- Ute (7/5): Not worth to pay extra for breakfast included, choose another hotel in the city - Clean room, friendly staff. We selected this hotel from all other hotels in Cranbrook and paid a bit more because it had breakfast included.
But breakfast is not recommended. Scrambled eggs tasted like some chemical rubber. There was no bread at all to have it as a side to the eggs, no bagels, no cereals, no yoghurt, no fruit. Water for tea was lukewarm even though we were at breakfast at 8am.
The cheapest motels on our trip had better selection at breakfast compared to this bigger hotel.
- stephen (4/5): Plenty of other places to stay. - The breakfast 🍳 The staff were at best indifferent, The room was clean but the rest of the building was dirty. The stairs and the corridors had not been hovered for months, restaurants were closed. I know it’s a budget hotel but they could do a lot better. Our room had the railroad 🚆 next to it and the pool was cold so were the pool showers 🚿
- Noreen (9/5): -
- Cameron (4/5): - Everything was extremely poor quality for the price point,
will never stay here again.
continental breakfast was great tho.
- LAURENTIU (10/5): - Excellent room; great breakfast; very nice pool!
- Vladimir (2/5): - I booked this hotel for my 87 year old dad as he had a hospital appointment for an MRI in Cranbrook and he did not want to drive home in the dark. He had the MRI 3 hours earlier than it was scheduled so he went back to the hotel and said that he did not need the room because he could still drive home in the daylight. There were 3 people lined up behind him looking for a room but the hotel still charged him the full price. This was always out go to hotel in Cranbrook but not any more. Both I and my dad were quit upset and will never go back there and will make sure to let all out friends that frequently stay there to stay away. Not good for a business.
- M.van den Bovenkamp (8/5): -
- Ella (8/5): - Clean. Older hotel. Decently maintained. Friendly and helpful staff
- Peter (8/5): I enjoyed my stay in Cranbrook. -
- Susan (8/5): - Nice breakfast
- Mathew (7/5): Clean good value for money - Clean comfortable affordable Breakfast cereal on buffet no milk supplied
