John (7/5): Great except for the TV reception. - The new building and rooms. The staff actively tries to solve any problems that you have. The cable. I’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times. Every time the cable reception was terrible even the new building had the same problem. The rooms that have smart TVs the picture is perfect on the apps. So the problem is not the TV, it’s the cable service.

Marcus (10/5): Well kept Secret - I stay at the Savannah Hotel whenever I visit the Philippines at least a day or two. Savannah Hotel has the softest Beds that I have found so far. I have stayed in 7 or more hotels and Savannah Mattresses are the best. Internet speed and connectivity are always very good. Restaurant on site with good prices for in house meals. Friendly staff and 24 hour security.

Kevin (4/5): Boring - This was a disappointing stay and unfortunately everything is going backward at this hotel. We had a 6-day stay and our room was not cleaned till the 3rd day and that was after I asked for it to be cleaned. It was cleaned again on day 4 but not again for the remainder of our stay. The aircondition was noisy so we could not get a good night sleep, and the TV not work after day 1. The excuse for the TV not working was they were having problems with the "service provider", which usually translates to "we not pay the cable TV bill". Restauraunt food was boring and I can understand why no one eats dinner there. There were other problems but the above were the main ones. Anyway my partner and I agreed this hotel is on our black list for at least the next 12-months and maybe by later 2024, it will have fixed their problems.

alvinrexmlucero (8/5): Shower’s the favorite - Savannah Resort Hotel is conveniently located is some interesting places in Angeles. SM Clark, the Walking Street and the Korean Town are just a ride away from the hotel. We stayed here for five nights and so far every night sleep is a wonderful experience for me. Rooms have quality beds with good comforters to warm the night. I love their complimentary soaps, my skin is well moisturized when I use them. They also give away a Bubble Bath, for you to also enjoy the bath tub. My favorite part of the room is the shower. I love the four-type shower with a perfectly working heating system. Food served for the entire duration of the activity are superb. Most of the time, i do not have left overs in my plate. Of course, Pampanga is the culinary capital of the country, that might be the reason why. The have a good wifi signal but can only accommodate a number of guests.

The water was tepid not Hot. I think for the price quite high, for the limit services, gym equipment out dated. On a positive note food excellent, very clean and the staff were very polite. I think upgrading their wifi system, Tv services would definitely give this hotel justice.

Check in was quick and efficient. Had us up in our room in no time. On the third day we had our room serviced and four people showed up. Room was made up in no time. We ate in their restaurant also. Food was great with nice presentation.

CARLOANDIZA (4/5): the hotel in general was a little poor in maintenance kitchen - Unfortunately this was the worst part of my 3 week stay in the phillipines having booked 7 days at this hotel inclusive with breakfast, the kitchen is in the far end of the lobby arewa and is open and exposed on the 3 day of my stay i had at 930 am the eggs and pancakes ,if only i had known!!! to know that 9 hours later i was very ill with vomiting and Diahreah .I was diagnosed with Ameba i was bed ridden for 4 days ruined my vacation , i had to attend hospital as i was dehydrated on my return from hospital post 5 hours i mentioned it to the front office staff , they said they would pass feedback on to F and B manager . overall bad experience the rooms were not cleaned appropriately ie no mopping or dusting , and the wi-fi signal very weak cutting in and out with no consistency.

ravinator (10/5): Reason to come back to Angeles - I stopped coming to Angeles a few years back because of the poor maintenance of hotels and the terrible quality of food. Someone recently told me about this place and I had to try it, and glad that I did. The rooms are big and clean with well maintained AC, the internet is brilliant (better then hotels back home even), the showers have near instant hot water! They don't allow delivery drivers to bring food to your room which is annoying, but their own room service food is really good anyway. The only qualm I have is that the waiting staff are not really friendly, not sure if that is because they don't get paid enough, or they don't like dark skinned people (common in Angeles). The cleaning staff are nice though. Yes it's a bit far from walking street however just book a grab for 120p and you're there in 5-8min depending on traffic. Worth the distance. Anyway if you can look past the unfriendly staff this is an awesome find and allows me to continue coming back to Angeles. Highly recommend. Make sure you get into the new building/wing (behind the pool).

To upgrade to the new wing would be 1000 pesos more. I have 5 more unrefundable days to go. Ugh. Maybe I will update with better news but maybe not.

It looks like the new version of the old wing, but cleaner, with a bathtub, and most importantly WITHOUT the smell of cigarette smoke. I think they renovated the pool and it looks cleaner this time. No fuss check in. Value for money room rates. Hate: The reusable slippers (which is probably better for the environment but totally unhygienic); No dresser mirror; No bedside light; Dirty bathtub edges; Sewer smell in the bathroom Bathtub tip: there is no drainage lever. You have to press the drain directly to open/close.

Hot water, spacious room, quiet aircon, comfortable bed What it needs is to improve staff service. It took two hours to get 2 coffees and toast. And I had to call 3 times. Second the front desk stated your could not charge to room unless you gave 3000 peso. Which I did but every time I charge to the room the waitress would say I had pay direct. I have tell them to talk to front desk .

nigelh689 (6/5): Great Rates - I was attracted to the savannah through a good rated on Expedia. The hotel itself is half way from The Walking Street to Korea Town, so a bit of both worlds. A seven eleven is right next door. Friendly checkin from Jordaan, and even the standard room is quite nice. Free water in the room, but no tea or coffee. However, the room is right next to the main road outside and is very noisy. If you are in need of a good night's sleep, this is not the hotel for you. The pool downstairs is good, and they have sunchairs. The bar looks inviting, is centrally located, but I never saw 1 customer use it. I asked when Happy Hour started, the barman said they don't have one. (Good to pay rent for such a large space/operation and not use it!) Management must be taking their time to come up with a super plan to increase revenue in this area, or they are simply clueless. If the rate is really low I'd come back, but I didn't sleep well so somewhere off the main road is probably a better option.

Nadja-Vida (6/5): Stopover stay - Nice hotel with friendly service. The rooms are dated and needs to have more comfortable beds. Ok for just a quick overnight stay while waiting for your next day flight.

rdsaint (2/5): Very very disappointing Hotel! - BAD SERVICE. This hotel is disappointing! Apparently the crew at the front desk and restaurants are irresponsible! My pregnant wife and her niece checked in for the holy week. My wife ordered for our breakfast at around 9am, and after almost two hours, our food never came. Calling the restaurant, this female crew said that our order was not saved! I tried to follow-up our ordered but unfortunately, no one was answering our calls. When I decided to go down to check the restaurant, the same girl who took our call was just standing next to the phone, just ignoring our calls! Very poor service. I tried to talk to their manager to discuss this, but unfortunately, their supervisors are in vacation because of rhe holidays! Imagine supervisors being on vacation on a peak season! Very very poor service! Not recommended at all!

d_islanderPH (8/5): Good - The hotel is near the road. Good if you have your room on the other side of the hotel. But mine is just near the road and it was noisy all night hearing vehicles pass by. The hotel has a small nice pool beside their restaurant which cook delicious food. Room is neat and has two pairs of slippers to use and 2 bottles of complimentary water. it also have a mini bar. Bathroom comes with shampoo, conditioner, dental kits and soaps. It’s accessible to places like sm clark, korean restos and more.
George (8/5): First Time Visitor to Angeles City, Not The Last - From the moment we landed at Clark Int'l for our first trip to the Philippines, we were amazed of the level of hospitality we received. We would like to send a special thank you to Samantha and the staff at the front desk. The hotel provided us with Airport Shuttle Services and also local transport throughout area for a small fee. The hotel will exchange money at the front desk, but be sure to have near perfect foreign bills if you are expecting to make an exchange (i.e. no torn, wrinkled or ink marked bills). The rooms were spacious, clean, but a bit dated compared to what you would normally find at other 4 star hotels. There were moments during the day when the A.C. would shut down automatically and the in-room Wi-Fi signal is not that great unless you happen to be placed in a room near the elevators, or a room with the city view. The swimming pool is located on the ground floor adjacent to the hotel bar as well as the training facility. The swimming pool is large enough for swimming laps and the training facility will meet your basic training needs. The free breakfast is A La Carte and offers enough choices of both local and American cuisine. The food is delicious and we would recommend any meal which includes the garlic rice. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality, quantity and food choices you will receive. Local Food Delivery is available, just ask the front desk staff.
