Guest Reviews
- Jayden (6/5): - Stains on bedding and ceiling. Short on towels and used bar soap in bathroom
- Yvette (2/5): Room didn't exist - They didn't actually have the room we booked. At all. Doesn't exist they said. They suggested 5 adults share 1 king room. They were unable to accommodate us so we went elsewhere and insisted they didn't charge us as they didn't have what we booked.
- Roger (8/5): - Enjoyed the breakfast selection
- Vara (6/5): - We went to breakfast about 7:00 and most everything was gone or empty.
- Terry (8/5): -
Excellent breakfast and friendly service
- Cheryl (10/5): - Had an excellent breakfast and everything was better than expected.
- ANDRES (4/5): - They show at internet a kind of room they don't have (three beds). Finally they gave me two rooms for the price of one (after more than half an hour). The ice machine was broken. The breakfast was not the best.
- Phyllis (2/5): - Property was dirty, bathroom was filthy, and front staff was rude.
- Terri (6/5): - Breakfast was not good and very limited selections. Ice machine was broken.
- Clifford (8/5): - Tv could use improvement
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very old motel with no upgrades. Parking lot was in the same lot as goodwill. Tub and sink were not thoroughly cleaned. It was ok but not pristine. You get what you pay for. We literally got i at midnight and left at 8am on a road trip so it was fine but if we were in town for a few days, it would be better to stay elsewhere.
- RYAN (6/5): - Didn’t have the room we wanted. Made it work so on to the next day
- Shannon (6/5): - Check in was super fast. The clerk was very friendly. Parking lot was recently paved. Very nice.
If you’re looking for a basic room to sleep in with no frills, this is the place.
Across the street was nearly $50 a night higher.
Almost an hour later and we are still waiting for the room to cool off. But it’s cooling.
Room was not dirty, but not ‘clean’
Vinyl flooring in the room.
Comfortable bedding.
- Timothy (3/5): Poor -
- sergio (10/5): - great for the price
- Lora (8/5): - Nice little motor for the price.. under construction but nice
- Randall (8/5): Quick stop in Alliance - Just a quick stop over on a long road trip. A quick night of sleep before moving on.
- Randy (8/5): - This is a very good value for the money. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Nice bed. Walking distance to a couple of dining option (fast food or a pizza place.) Coffee, fridge, microwave and safe in room. Breakfast was adequate. Not a lot of amenities but for an overnight stay on a road trip this was perfect,
- Boydston (8/5): Very good -
- Skyler (8/5): Very Nice Staff - My stay was good; was in town for a couple days for some family reasons and the staff was SUPER nice. Room had everything I needed. There was some other very loud, disruptive guests and some street racers outside around 10pm but other than that it was still good and I would probably stay again.
- Larry (1/5): Bad - Rooms were dirty no lighting main socket was torn out TV didn't work.. Staff was friendly
- Chris (8/5): - Great price. Friendly staff. Breakfast meh.
- Susan (4/5): - It needs a lot of work and it needs a good cleaning. First room smells like smoke. Next room was better but tub was really dirty.
- Mike (6/5): - No closet to hang clothes, breakfast was cold and tasted like powdered eggs, the entry buttons were not even connected to get back into the rooms, the maids were very friendly and courteous, the bed was very comfortable
- Johnette (10/5): - Quick check in and out. The breakfast was good and the workers were very attentive, friendly and available when needed. Highly recommend if you are visiting Alliance Nebraska.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean comfortable room - This hotel seems to be under new management and undergoing renovations. The room we stayed was recently renovated and clean. Beds and beddings are very comfortable. Good breakfast. It appears that the new management is turning this hotel around. It is now offering a solid product with competitive rates.
- Tanayah (8/5): Comfy! - At first I was a little hesitant but the front desk woman was very kind! Once we got to our room, we noticed how clean it was. And the beds were super comfortable! The common area areas needed some cleaning
- Cora (8/5): - Comfortable, hot shower, not quiet, but will be nice soon, it is under construction.
- Simonson (1/5): Bad -
- Jolie (6/5): - Breakfast was supposed to open at 6am and it didn’t so we had to leave without being able to get a complementary breakfast….
- Chrisdouglas120 (3/5): I'll have to be pretty desperate to stay here again. - Breakfast wasn't available before 7, and I had to leave before then so I never got to try it. The room was fairly dated, and slightly less than clean.
- Verified traveler (6/5): We hoped - We can see that this young couple has been working hard to update this old EcnoLodge Motel, but it is a work in progress and will keep getting better over time. So far have replaced some of the wall coverings, are replacing windows now. Needs new beds, pillows etc. I did think it was a nice touch that they had a toothbrush if you for got yours. Breakfast was good.
- Jenny (10/5): - The property offered good value for money. The room was small but clean. The breakfast offered a hot meal option which was great. The reception staff were friendly and accommodating.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - No complaints
- Clauson (8/5): Traveling granny squad review - For the price it was awesome Breakfast was horrible juice watered down no choices muffins brick hard coffee stale not fresh peeling paint in Breakfast area
- Carol (3/5): Poor -
- Glen (8/5): Very good -
- Gabino (10/5): - is a nice stay for the price
- Thomas (2/5): - It didn't even look like it was open
- Elie (5/5): Good enough for a nights stay. -
- William Roy Bundy (10/5): - Clean and good location
- Curtis (8/5): Very good -
- Bautista (8/5): Very good -
- Justin (8/5): - The staff was friendly the hotel is easily accessible from the highway bed was very comfortable and the room clean
- Paolo (4/5): Disappointing - nothing good except the location. Dirty room and sheets and towels, poor breakfast with an expired product in the refrigerator. Upon arrival at the reception an employee was sitting on a piece of furniture, the shower knob came off at the first use (then repaired by the staff with availability to change room if the problem occurred again).
- Brewster (8/5): Exactly - Friendly staff,clean/quiet and everything in the room worked as it should For the price there’s no room to complain.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Simple Little Place for a Good Rest - This was a stopping point for us, on our way to CO. The room was quite nice, with the understanding they were under construction to update!! Bed was very comfortable, and room was clean and perfect for our night of sleep!!! Breakfast was filling and they had a nice verity to choose from. Do have the understanding they are under construction but, they do have everything to the side, so you do not feel like you are in the middle of construction. A few suggests to the owners, maybe some air fresheners in the rooms (just a little extra boost to make the room not smell like lumber) and some ketchup packets for the eggs = ) Also keep up the hard work with the improvements around the Lodge!
Nice Simple Little Place for Good Rest and Filling Breakfast!
- Lynasota (8/5): Very good. We got a good night sleep, comfy and peaceful. - The staff was kind and met our needs.
They take pets which is lovely as we travel with our 3 furkids.
The room was clean, the bed and pillows super comfy.
They had a very nice continental breakfast .
It was close off the highway and there were restaurants within walking distance. The motel is under new ownership I assume and they are busy repairing rooms as it is an older building. It’s been record breaking hot and the wall AC units are very old, probably original to the building. Our room never did cool down more that a couple degrees in the 2 hours we had it running, so I asked to be moved to another room as we wouldn’t have been able to sleep. It was kind of a hassle for us to pack everything up and move 10 doors down, but they quickly met our request with no problems, the new room quickly cooled off :)
- Klein (6/5): Pleasant -
- Snoozy (8/5): Very good -
- Janet L (8/5): - We were ok with our room. It was clean and very nice The breakfast was also good. The property is in need of fixing up. Which I think they are working on. We would stsy here again though.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - It was a good price and the free breakfast was a nice plus. Not the cleanest, but definitely not dirty. Nothing worth complaining about.
- Jbtaxman (7/5): Will return if we travel this way again. - Good location for our traveling needs Had a hard time finding it because the sign out front was EconoLodge. Must have been changed hands.
- Darren (10/5): Great value - Remodeling in the works but rooms are clean, quiet and practical
- Perry (7/5): OK for Guys Trip - The bed was comfortable. Seems to be always under construction of some sort.
- Tawa (10/5): - It was a great experience. I would come back and recommend it for sure!
- Layman (5/5): Passable -
- Ronnie (8/5): - Tons of potential, but in need of work on the building. The room was clean and comfortable but no elevator made 2nd floor access rough. No closet was a minor problem, but the cost was a plus.
- Verified traveler (4/5): No Thanks - This hotel was run down, poorly cleaned, and just plain old. It was quiet but that was only because nobody was staying there. Breakfast was nonexistent and what was there was not sanitary or something that any of us wanted to eat. While it was relatively inexpensive, I expected it to be better than what it was because it was in the middle of nowhere. I've stayed in similarly priced hotels in Colorado and South Dakota, which were MUCH nicer. Disappointing and will not stay again.
- Chris (7/5): Good -
- Elizabeth (8/5): - It was a decent price and checked the boxes of what we needed- a place to shower and rest. The bed was super comfy and the room was clean! It was quiet and appeared to be updated!
- Qing (8/5): Very good -
- Alecia (8/5): - Simple location
- LaDonna R (8/5): GREAT JOB! - The gentleman the checked me was very welcoming and friendly. I had stayed at this hotel years ago and it was awful, but this time was wonderful! I will recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Alliance, NE.
- Juan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Alexus (10/5): - I had an overall very good stay, they were doing some construction so the outside area and walk-in was a little inconvenient along with glass in the parking lot, but the rooms and inside was very nice.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - I arrived into Alliance Airport on Sunday when there is no bus service operating. From the 1st point of contact the hotel was helpful and friendly, offering pick up and even popping by Carhenge on the way to the hotel!
Much better service than the big chains who don't even respond to emails or messages!
Super comfy bed
Shops and food next door
Great value for money
Would recommend and return
- Quinten (10/5): Great staff - The staff was very courteous and helpful.
- Flack (10/5): I was very pleasantly surprised to get such a nice room for such a low price. - Great place. Heat worked well on a cold January night. Bed comfortable, and blankets thicker and warmer than the usual skimpy motel blankets. Wi-fi worked just fine. Bath linens thick and soft. Good lighting throughout the room. Plenty of hot water, and a nice strong flow from the shower head. Staff friendly and accommodating. No breakfast: the desk clerk said that it was a temporary thing, because the kitchen was being worked on. But that's a minor thing.
- Santana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Evans (5/5): Meh - Comfortable beds. Reasonably clean room. All signage says ECONOLODGE so it was difficult to find
No in room coffee, no coffee in the common area. Not even hot water lol
- Santana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew-amy (1/5): Bad -
- Robin (2/5): - Did not stay there! Pulled up and even the parking lot was neglected. Paint peeling, cracks in the walls. Unsafe scaffolding on the sidewalk of building. Totally felt UNSAFE! Did not even get out of the car. Tried to call to cancel… no answer. Went across the highway and was told the building is up for auction!
- Stephen (6/5): - Parking area was horrible. On arrival found out no hot breakfast available but was given the option to go up the block to a different hotel where they would provide one, found that to nice but very inconvenient
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not good - This hotel got the job done with a place to stay, but that was about it. I started reading the reviews in detail during our stay and want to relay that they have apparenty been in the process of updating for 2-3 years, ceiling tiles are missing, and the property just doesn't seem very cared for. There is a broken down minivan outside, very tall weeds growing from the cracks in the parking lot, and it is definitely NOT handicap accessible. It is a split level. You have to go up or down a set of stairs to get to the rooms, which means no luggage carts to assist. The door to the bathroom looked like someown had punched it, and there was paint missingin vrious places.
I will say that we appreciated the mini-fridge, but the knobs on the microwave were broken.
- Paul (4/5): Wouldn’t stay again - The place is run down the said they were going to upgrade but didn’t know when lobby nothing much but the room was clean which was a surprise as the rest of hotel doesn’t look good from outside
- Neil (4/5): - Property- it is like someone started to renovate this property and then stopped. Several things in our room were partially done or not done well. Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked fine.
- Lucas (2/5): - No food or coffee had to travle to a "sister" hotel to get breakfast or coffee. Bad AC units, toilets ver short and wouldn't flush and seats were fasten properly. Back door wouldnt lock very unsafe. Druggies hanging out outside at rear of hotel. Rooms had musty smell.
- Pavel (2/5): - It's the worst hotel that I ever stayed I think, one of those bad hotels.
Felt unsafe.. not clean...
- Colin (2/5): - No pillows or towels in room, and massive holes in the floors and ceilings. Complimentary breakfast was nothing but a pack of muffins. Staff were nice.
- Marlin (8/5): - The outside of the building needed a coat of paint and some other maintenance but the room was clean and comfortable.
- Wesley C (8/5): - Property looked terrible from the outside but rooms were reasonable and clean
- Darrell (8/5): - It was fine for a nights stay. Friendly staff
- David (4/5): - Motel was being remodeled. Our room appeared to be half done. New flooring and shower and some paint. Rest of the room needed finished. Toilet, sink and bed need replaced. Faucet took both hands to turn on. They should not have rented this room in the condition it is in.
- dakota (2/5): - This place is so ran down it isn’t funny
- Warren (10/5): - The staff was Awesome. Bur the facility is old and needs a lot of repairs or just a overall remodeling
- Rachael (8/5): - This hotel was nice! It's older, but you can definitely see that they're remodeling. Our room was very clean and neat. It was better than most other smaller hotels I've been in! They were very friendly at check in and answered all questions. I would definitely stay here again.
- Mike (6/5): A little run down. - Room was clean. Bed was good. Remote didn't work for tv. Overall condition of motel especially outside was poor. Ice machine out of order. Had to go to sister motel if you wanted a hot breakfast.Over priced in my opinion.
- David (4/5): - The staff was friendly.
- Steve (4/5): We were too exhausted to go somewhere else - $85 for a $50 room and that didn't account for the filth and crappy breakfast. The check in was a challenge because they had a new gal at the desk. She had to have someone else come and help. The grounds were gross, trash everywhere, the building needs painting and general up keep, a few plants or grass would be nice. We had to go the their sister facility two blocks away to get our free breakfast and the only thing hot they had was sausage patties and sausage gravy and the heat under the sausage was out so they were cold and rubbery. The room was the most distressing. There were thick black hairs all over the blow dryer cord, couldn't tell if they were beard hairs or pubic hairs, but gross either way. We were going to make a cup of coffee, but when I took the tray out to add new grounds there was a used and dried up pack of coffee already in there. Because of these items were neglected I wondered if the sheets actuallly got changed.
- Angel (8/5): - The outside of the building looks ran down but the room was nice.
- Lawrence (8/5): - The hotel is next to stores and restaurants.
- Diane (10/5): Clean friendly service - Clean, friendly service. No concerns.
- Nancy (8/5): - The rooms are nice but have wood floors so bring your slippers cause the floor's cold. Make sure the front desk programs the key for multiple nights if you're staying for more than one night so your key works after the first night. The outside of the building looks very rundown but inside is clean and inviting. Overall a decent hotel for the price.
- Tammy (10/5): - Great night
- Lorena (8/5): - The outside was in bad repair, but our room was clean. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic!
- Lance (10/5): - Great place to stay!
- Tracey (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and the room was quiet and clean.
- Denise (8/5): - Beds were very comfortable.
