Sightsee10842106249 (2/5): Schitt’s Creek before the rebrand - Booked two nights, made it through one. The woman at check-in was very nice, and the room itself was decent enough, but the bed felt like sleeping on a car hood with a loose sheet tossed over it. Honestly, the car hood may have had more cushioning. Oddly enough, the lack of a fitted sheet did make it very easy to check for bedbugs, and to their credit, we did not find any. So there’s that. The overall vibe was less ‘relaxing getaway’ and more ‘Schitt’s Creek before the rebrand.’ The balcony view was pure gloom and doom, which really tied the whole experience together. Nice staff member, decent room, but the comfort level was not it. We left early.

If you like a firm mattress this place has a concrete-like bed that will keep your back out of whack for days. Customer service is “meh” at best. 0/10 would not recommend.

Close to local dog park.it was super clean, great AC/ heat. Dog friendly hotel. Staff was super nice and put us at the end so we would be closer to the gras. Had microwave and mini fridge Bed was pretty uncomfortable, and made really loud metal banging noises when you got in and out of it. The TV only played in yellow and green coloring. Peephole was broken.

Alex (1/5): Never go to this hotel they will be assholes towards you & could be health issues they expose you to - Nothing I liked about having a rude inconsiderate disrespectful front desk person who will not let you talk or explain anything to her without saying I'm not having to take this and I'm calling the cops but will I insult you and not let the person checking in to know they been there before and last time it was under different ownership or employee and this lady was the worst I've ever dealt with and will be reporting elsewhere about the level of disrespect this person had and to speak of the least don't blow kisses at myself when I said I'll just take my business elsewhere since I'm feeling highly disrespected and due to your rude behavior towards me and after not a second later she was already saying good bye blowing kisses towards me multiple times and thinking the level of contamination and Health well being was not being thoughtful of others and is a violation for a hotel establishment to be condoning for their front desk employees to do and get away with towards their customers....so after the rudeness and ability to not understand I was trying to explain my phone number wasn't disconnected when she claimed to have call the day before and when I gave her my number it sent to a disconnect line but she won't let me see what number she was dialing into the phone because I said that isn't possible since I was making and received calls and using data from my phone to text... Gregory (5/5): It was ok. - Took nasty fall outside of our room. Walkway was very icy. The manager did salt it after I notified him. No water available in breakfast area. Machine only emitted a trickle. Would be nice is more fruit was available- only apples were provided.
E8312YQroberth (10/5): Very good and accommodating - I came up to NJ for a 95th birthday party. It happened to be the weekend of the big snowstorm. I originally booked two nights but when the snow started Sunday I asked to book another night was able to do so with no problem. Complimentary breakfast was great! Despite some negative reviews they don't have to offer breakfast at all! Patrice was so nice and accommodating upon check-in. Also the guys worked all through the night of the storm to keep the lot clear. It is a basic motel but clean and friendly. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Frank (7/5): It was fun and comfortable. - The breakfast was okay. The location was somewhat convenient for me but boring. I loved how the room looked very historic like the building was built out of American Chestnut wood before the blight in the early 20th century. Terrible customer service. The guy banging on his door since he couldn't get into his room and making a ruckus. The fact that it is a motel instead of a hotel.

Sharon (9/5): My units were very nice for me. - Breakfast was okay. Eggs needed to be a lot hotter and a heavy set woman came in and used the waffle maker but for her it didn't work so she walked out leaving it still on a very hot unit. I had to go down to front desk to tell them as this was not good at all to leave it in a hot waffle maker.

Sandra (4/5): Would have spent a little more money to have a good night's sleep on a comfortable mattress. - Conveniently located, front desk personnel friendly, room and bathroom were clean, breakfast room was adequate. Mattress was very hard and sagged a bit in the middle. I was able to feel a spring. Bed was not made correctly. Not enough sheet - too much was tucked under the mattress and not enough to adequately cover the body. Towels were clean but rough and dingy. Time to replace towels. Time to update shower curtain and update bed coverlet. No hot water for tea in breakfast area.

Sharon (9/5): My room was super cozy. Safety rails needed outside to prevent falling on ramp areas - Just ok. Perhaps milk free options for ones that can't drink actual milk. First time not enough paper plates for guests coming into breakfast area
Dawn (1/5): - Tricia was nice. Where to start. As soon as we walked in the smell was obvious and bad. The room was dirty. The floors and rug were sticky. We had bugs in the room. The windows were unlocked. The lighting was awful. We watched bugs come in because the door wasn't flushed with the wall. My sister and u got sick from whatever they spray the room with. I know that for a fact because when we got home and took a shower we felt better. We were supposed to stay two nights and instead we checked in at 5 on Friday, left at 6 for a play. Back by 10 and out of the room to go home by 10:30 am on Saturday. To make it worse, Booking.com wouldn't refund the night me for the night we didn't stay. If I had made arrangements directly with the hotel, I was told they would have refunded my money. I WILL NEVER USE BOOKING.COM AGAIN! YOU TOOK MY MONEY FOR A ROOM THAT WASNT USED! What s rip off!

Michael (10/5): Nice room, excellent customer service - we had a king suite which was nice and roomy. Tricia at the front desk really helped out with a problem between Booking.com and the hotel. Once we opened an incident with Booking.com, she handled everything to straighten out the reservation. She gave us our rooms while this was happening.

Carla (6/5): The room was very good for a single night stay. - The breakfast was adequate. We picked up more breakfast for our ride home. There were only 3 pillows on the one queen size bed in the room. Both people need two pillows each, especially if reading in bed.

Eric (6/5): Competitive price for a very basic motel - This place is the most basic of drive up motels at a very competitive price. All the basics are in place. The room is clean. The beds are comfortable enough. There is a token breakfast. The rooms are small. There was no conditioner in the room. The breakfast was substandard, and one day completely lacked the standard eggs and sausage. Another day the coffee was sludge and not available. The only reason to pick this hotel is price.

Wayne (4/5): Not worth the money. - Location Water pressure was low, the tv remote was disgustingly dirty. The room was hot and the AC unit was loud and lastly there were bugs in the room. The “continental” breakfast was disgusting.

Jaclyn (6/5): Affordable, clean, and safe place to stay in a pinch. Some things just need a little update and the beds could be more c - Super affordable and easy parking. Everything was clean and neat. Complimentary breakfast! The shower made a loud noise and the beds are really hard.

Jatinder (1/5): Very bad room experience, never choose this lodge. - Kind staff, especially Tricia. Room 239 was very horrible and eerie. While travelling with my family of 4. Two single beds were in the attic. The attic and the stairs leading up to it looked like something from the year 1870, like a haunted house, the paint job in the house was horrendous. The entrance to the house was very dark (no light). The main bedroom had no light switches, and a hanging light that didn’t work. We had to go in the dark to turn on the bedside lamps by hand. The entire house smelled extremely bad, as if something was rotting in the boarded up basement. Due to this horrible room me and my family had to cancel the booking and struggle and try to sleep in our car the entire night as everything else was fully booked in this out-skirted area. Due to the struggle me and my family with 2 kids had to go through, I need compensation for the inconvenience caused by a sleepless night in a out-skirted and dangerous/dark area (without access to a washroom) If you have any questions email me.
