Par contre nous avons été logé dans un appartement au rdc qui ressemble plus à un sous sol car semi enterré, pas de lumière le jour et la nuit les luminaires extérieurs éclairent l’appartement dont la porte est vitrée !! L’accueil était très sympathique

- Verified traveler (10/5): Good experience - Nice place, friendly staff, clean room, working AC. Just far enough (like 50 meters) from the road to be quiet. No noise complaints. The view is a bit, let's say, rural, but the price is right. I'd come again!

The room was clean and comfortable, the pool area was very nice, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The snack bar also served good food. All in all, a great stay – if we return to Platanias, we’ll definitely book the same hotel again.

- mr christopher (10/5): Lovely hotel, great staff and great location. - Great location, perfect for the beach and all the facilities Platanias has to offer. Dimitris cannot do enough to make sure you have a great holiday. He and his staff are all very friendly and welcoming, you feel like part of the family! The apartment was modern with a lovely bathroom. There are loads of great restaurants within a very short walk, we had a car for the holiday but you could easily manage without due to the proximity of everything. The pool was clean with good sun beds, you can tell a lot about a place by the quality of their sun beds! Great place, thank you for a lovely holiday.

- Siv (10/5): Mycket fint hotell - Mycket trivsamt och underbart hotell. Värdarna är mycket hjälpsamma och trevliga. Rent och fint överallt. Bekväma sängar. Byte av handdukar varje dag och lakan en gång/vecka. Återkommer mer än gärna.

Nice rooms and balconies. And most importantly, amazing staff in every category! I will definetely come back here at a later time!

Owners are lovely and helpful I’d go back if it wasn’t for the pool area. I have mobility issues and could barely get around the pool due to the sun beds and close proximity to the pool/water Not for the disabled However for everyone else it’s fantastic. Lovely poolside bar open all day. No bar st night but closest restaurant less than one minute away Very close to everything but quiet

Delicious snacks and drinks served at the pool bar. Close to everything you could want, from walking tours to taxis and public transport. After an unpleasant experience at another hotel, Dimitre and his family really made us feel at home, but on vacation. I will definitely fly next summer.
- Alan (10/5): Best value in platanias - Great location. 1min to Supermarkets and bus stop that takes you to Chania, Elafonisi beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Neat and clean. Kitchenette was fully equipped. Air conditioning available, without extra fees. The hotel manager is nice, and responds fast on any inquiries.

- Dag Øystein (10/5): Ferie på Amaryllis Hotell i Platanias - Hotellet har en meget god beliggenhet i Platanias, rett ved det lille Torget og ca 100 meter unna hovedveien, og 300 meter fra stranden. Hotellet har eget passe stort basseng med en liten basseng bar. Egen gratis parkering Hotell eierene bor i første etasje av hotellet. God størrelse på både rom og bad. Terrasse har to stoler og bord, samt stativ for tørking av klær.

- Ditte (10/5): Roligt, rent, centralt og super personale! - Fantastisk ophold på hotel APT amaryllis. Værelserne er nye, rene og store og billederne lever op til forventede. Ligger 5 minutters gang fra stranden, roligt område selvom det er centralt. Det eneste som var negativt var at sengen var hård i forhold til min præference. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage!

- Christoffer (10/5): En vecka i Platanias - Vår vistelse på Amaryllis var supertrevlig! Dimitris som har hand om det mesta var mycket tillmötesgående och trevlig. Rummen var fräscha och städningen var bra! Fräscht renoverat, både själva sovrummet och toaletten. Om jag ska klaga på något var sängen inte så skön jämfört med hur vi har det hemma :) Poolområdet var mysigt och en poolbar/café fanns där också. Där kunde man beställa frukost, lunch och andra tilltugg och allting var fräscht och gott! Slutligen, läget var mycket bra. En kort backe på ca 100 m och sen var man på huvudgatan. Trots närhet till centrum blev man inte störd alls!

Lots of light just over a block from main street with plenty of restaurants, grocery store, many stores for shopping, and an excellent bakery. Also a short walk to nice beach. Main bus stop two blocks away to to all major destinations. Includes a pool and poolside service.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great Location, Good Service, Large Apartments - Amaryllis is a wonderful apartment hotel. The room was large, sunny, modern, and clean. The location ideal--just about 1 block from the main street--quiet and a stone's throw from many stores, restaurants, cocktail lounges, and bakeries. Only a couple minutes from a beautiful beach. Staff was very helpful and accommodating--I extended my stay twice and was able to keep the same room. There is a lovely pool, food and drinks on premises (but I did not use these facilities). A great value overall and a pleasant stay.

- Lisa (8/5): Modern apts, great location relaxed friendly staff - The location of these apartments is fantastic. It's off the main strip and incredibly quiet, but you're in the thick of it within a couple of minutes walk. You can get to anything you need within five mins...maybe seven mins to the beach! The apartments are modern and clean, with daily service. There's a kettle and hot plate and decent sized fridge - we found we were quite able to manage sorting light lunch in the apartments every day (if you're a flamboyant chef, probably not enough space and equipment...but why both when there's so many nice places to eat so close!). Friendly, relaxed staff with a pool bar offering snacks - cooked breakfast, club sandwich, gyros or burgers. Cafetiere coffee and frappes, plenty of juice and booze on offer too. Pool area is sufficient, though if you're someone who wants to swim fifty lengths everyday, you'll be better off in the sea. We were very happy with it. It's calm and relaxed, perfect for a laidback holiday.

- Amanda (4/5): Irriterande - Toppen läge och lugnt men städningen var inte ok. Skitiga skoavtryck efter städerskans och hår som inte tillhörde oss. Mest irriterande var det att dem inte låste eller ibland ens stängde balkongdörrarna trots att vi bad dem gör det 2 gånger, en granne eller annan skulle lätt kunnat klättra in på balkongen och vi hade datorer som låg på rummet och de går inte in i en liten sayftbox. Men personalen var trevlig och läget bra.

Første gang vi bodde på Amarylis et helt greit hotell midt i sentrum , Dimitris tok oss godt imot og viste en flott service på alle måter , dette kan anbefales på alle måter , alltid hyggelig og imøtekommende . Fixet transport til /fra Airporten til en ok pris og flinke sjåfører . Stor mulighet for at vi reiser tilbake til Amarylis .

We had breakfast at the pool bar on our last morning and wished we had eaten breakfast there more often. It was superb. Would definately stay here again.

Rent og ordentlige rom, litt harde madrasser ellers topp. Ingen støy fra sentrumsgaten som ligger noen få minutter unna. Kort vei til stranden. Koslig bassengområde med bar. Anbefaler dette hotellet/Apartments og du får mye får pengene.

- Randi (8/5): Nice hotel in the heart of Platanias. - Very nice and serviceminded owner and staff. The hotel is laying next to shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, bakery, servicestand etc. You can get mostly everything within minutes walk from the hotel. Very quite when it comes to music, traffic, neighbours. Close to the long beach (which is not for the smallest children, the water gets deep close to the shore). Bus- and taxistop just down the street, very good connection both to Chania- and Gerani/Kolumbari area. Large parkingarea for those who's driving a car. Poolarea with sunbeds are not to big, but okay. Tables where you can get beverages and "snacks". "Library" in the mainbuilding made by the guests. I would easely choose this hotel again because of the nice atmosphere and the location.

- john (10/5): Friendly Service - As we arrived late evening the Taxi Driver was given the key to our room and we had a welcomed bottle of wine waiting in the room. our flight was three hours late arriving at Chania Air Port. Dimitris the Hotel Manager organised the transport for us , he could not do enough for his guests? room have all had a face lift. and it has still got excellent service
- Mimmi (10/5): Bekvämt och rent hotell - Min vistelse var fantastiskt! Fräscht hotell med de verse bekvämligheter så som pool, aircondicion, wi-fi, safty box, poolbar och balkong. Ägaren var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam.
- patricia (8/5): Hôtel au calme - Nous y avons passé 4 nuits. Notre chambre était spacieuse et très propre, récemment rénovée. Le lit très grand et très confortable. La petite cuisine fonctionnelle. La douche de notre chambre partiellement bouchée n'était pas très bien conçue car le tuyau de douche n'était pas assez long pour l'accrocher au mur. La pression était très faible et la protection totalement inutile car après la douche quoique l'on fasse, la salle de bain était inondée. Hôtel situé au calme à l'arrière de la rue commerçante de Platanias, à 300 mètres d'une jolie plage de sable. Jolie piscine que nous n'avons pas expérimentée. Personnel discret et sympatique.

- Jonas (8/5): Great apartmenthotel - We had a great stay at Amaryllis. It was clean and had a friendly staff who informed us and helped us with everything we needed. The air-condition was included wich was great. The hotel was a bit hidden in Platanias but it wasn`t further than two minutes of walking to get to the main street. The rooms was very clean and upgraded like the pictures. If you`re planning to spend most of your stay in Platanias on the beach this is a great apartmenthotel to spend the nights.
