• Verified traveler (10/5): great option - would recommend - I will start with the cons as there were so few: 1. the bath towels had stains on them, 2. the beach towels provided were the size of shower towels and i expected something larger, pros - 1. extremely clean (except for 1 above), 2. great employees - very friendly and helpful, 3. great location near the sea, restaurants and shops, 4. excellent breakfast and afternoon snacks (happy hour from 5-7), 5. free bicycle "rentals" complete with helmets, as well as free beach kits (beach towels, water, and sunscreen) are made available for guests use (the towels are returned after use), 6. they brought our dog its own bed, chew toy and food ard water bowl (we used ours but it was something other hotels haven't made available)

• harvey (10/5): Great place to stay - I was there for three weeks. The hotel is one block from the beach. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are hearty and satisfying. Although the rooms are small, they are adequate and are kept clean.There are good restaurants near by including a shawarma and knafe place next door and a Vegan restaurant, J17, two blocks away). Would highly recommend this hotel for its location and friendly staff.

• Michael (10/5): Great Place to Stay - This place is convenient to the beach and shopping areas. It is clean and there is a full delicious breakfast including eggs and omelettes made to order. No toast though. The rooms are smaller sized but the beds are superb in comfort. They have a meet and greet with wine and lots of snacks.

Breakfast is amazing. They have bikes to use which we did, and towels and water for the beach. Perfect location to go to Shabbat at the port, bike along the beach and enjoy the beach and all the port restaurants. Benny the Fisherman is exceptional!
• Guy (4/5): - Unfortunately this has to be the most over priced place compared to what you get I’ve stayed in. Good: the cleanliness. Polite staff, as other reviewers have said. Can’t be faulted. A happy hour each day where some free drinks and nibbles are laid out. Bad: the extortionate price charged for a so called “boutique” hotel. No restaurant. No decent bar. No facilities at all. The rooms are tiny and with very bad sound insulation. Not just from outside (where there are as of May 2022 something like five construction sites next to, under or nearby the hotel and I understand are due to continue for some time ) and can be heard in the rooms. Other than it’s minuscule rooms and a decorated lobby there is nothing more to this hotel. It literally is just that. And quite frankly - I am utterly perplexed as to why they believe the prices they charge are worth it. I paid £300 per night / and on average the hotel charges at least £200 per night for its measly offering. The hotel itself isn’t on the beach front but a very busy road a couple of roads behind it. You would be much better to go to an apartment sharing app than inhabit this hotel. Don’t be followed by the word “boutique” - this really isn’t anything of the sort. I left this place feeling thoroughly disappointed and ripped off.

They were always happy to help with any questions or requests I had. The room I had was very clean and in great condition. I had a really good view of the sea from my window. If you are looking for a small friendly hotel choose this hotel.

Allthough the rooms are small, but very comftable. We had room on 7th floor with great view to the sea. Nespresso machine with capsules in the room. I stayed in 3 other hotels during my visit to Israel and this was the best of them for a similar price.

Food kept coming at breakfast, and Happy Hour was a dream with free Cava and food. Going to the beaches were given a bag bag with sun screen , towels, water, and snacks. We are in. 5 star hotel today, and let me tell you, the room is bigger, but the comfort quotient is minuscule by comparison. Thanks, Yam. Hope we see you again soon. PS. The manager, Natalie, seemed to be there 24 hours a day and only wanted each guest to be having a good time, or to know if they needed anything. But the positives of this hotel far outweigh that negative.

• Deborah (10/5): Cool Boutique Hotel Near the Tel Aviv Port - The YAM is a very cool boutique located a block from the Tel Aviv Port and the beach/Promenade. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Make sure you book for their amazing breakfast buffet! They have a wonderful Happy Hour with complimentary cocktails and food. • Paul (10/5): Warm, friendly, hip, comfortable and clean! - Honestly for the combination of price, location, service and ambiance, I’d give this hotel 10 out of 10. On arrival I was checked in by Or at the front desk and he provided such a nice warm welcome. All the staff, from Nathalie the General Manager, down to housekeeping were all very courteous and friendly. Breakfast and happy hour snacks were great, and so many small touches like offering you a beach bag with towels, water, snacks and sunscreen whenever you want, free bikes to borrow (first come first service), and everyone was always happy to offer great recommendations for local sites, bars and restaurants. I felt very happy during my stay. Cool surf vibe and it’s a small hotel with maybe 40 rooms or so and so you get to know the other guests and I felt like I had a real personal Tel Aviv experience as opposed to staying in a big chain hotel. I used to work in hotels and I was travelling on my own for vacation and I’d definitely come back. Thanks to all the staff who took care of me!

We had a tasty breakfast to start the day plus they had a happy hour meal in the evening. The staff went out of their way to provide for our every need. They even provided bicycles free of charge to go tour the city plus towels, water and snacks for the coastal swimming. It was like a resort hotel!

• Chris (10/5): Eurovision week at Yam - We spent a fab week at Yam to celebrate Eurovision in Tel Aviv. Wonderfully welcoming staff and a lovely 5-7pm happy hour every evening with snacks and drinks made a great touch. We loved the beach bag that they provide daily with towels, water and snacks - so you don’t need to think about bringing you own stuff. We had a sea view room on the top floor, nice decorations inside and spotlessly clean. Not the biggest hotel room we’ve ever stayed in but nice extras like the balcony and beachball 😀. Location-wise, it’s at the top end of Tel Aviv’s beaches by the port, so a bit further away from the main action around the central beaches but getting around is super easy on the rentable Bird and Lime scooters. We’d definitely stay here again.

As we booked late we got the last room in the hotel and although this had every comfort and was spotless it only had a rather small window. There are other rooms with lovely views over the sea and some with balconys. I would definitely recommend staying there but just go for a view or balcony room. The staff were all extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough to help you.

At the north end of tel aviv and not too close to the centre and main beaches but you can hire bikes, use the electric scooters or easily get a taxi to get around if you wish to explore further into the city. The breakfast was always really good and the happy hour between 5 & 7pm included wine, snacks and a meal option allowing for a small dinner in the evenings. Great touch that they provided beach bags and towels and snacks if you needed them too.

The service was impeccable, the free happy hour, beach bags, beach towels, bikes, all the things, really added to the experience. Our room was spacious (by non-American standards) and the view from the balcony was amazing, even though you are still a couple blocks from the beach. The lobby area has a really fun surf decor and overall the place has a fairly young and modern vibe. We hadn't been to Tel Aviv before and the only caveat I will add is that the city is very sprawling, and if you know you want to be near a particular area or site, this hotel probably isn't the right choice, because there isn't really anything by way of tourist sites other than the beach that is close by. There are some cute restaurants within walking distance though, and the market in the port area a couple minutes walk away is a fun experience. We would definitely stay here again.

• david (10/5): Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff. - This is a delightful boutique hotel with a caring, helpful staff. The happy hour every day has a tasty assortment of foods and beverages. The hotel is right across the street from the beach and the many restaurants in the port of Tel Aviv. The hotel is minutes from the Yarkon River and Park, as well as a short walk to the many night spots on Dizengoff.
