• Wilhelm (1/5): Nicht zu empfehlen. Hygienisch "unterm Hund". - Das Zimmer hatte "nur" ein Bett, ohne zusätzliche Einrichtung (wie etwa Tisch oder Sessel). Es lag neben der Eisenbahn, alle paar Minuten wackelte die Wand. WC/Dusche waren extrem heruntergekommen, man traute sich kaum barfuß in die Dusche zu steigen. Wirklich einziges Vorteil: es liegt neben einer Tube Station (wie vermutlich hunderte andere Hotels auch) Kleines Zimmer, extrem laut neben Eisenbahn, WC/Bad schmutzig. Im Bett tummelten sich Mini Ameisen.

I tried to raise the issue with the receptionist and was rudely & unreasonably disrespected as well as disregarded!!! But I have paid for it at a disgusting rate for the room that was without considering the false advertisement which applies to the lack of entertainment too.!!! Disgraceful, shameful & unreasonable, especially for almost £70 a night!

• Sarah (2/5): Would not recommend if you want to be able to use the bathroom without feeling dirty - Location was great, right next to tube station and shops This was a last minute booking recommended by booking.com due to another property being cancelled as we got there. Check in was smooth but the communal area was very outdated, as we walked up the stairs, there were stains all over the carpets, random bags and rubbish... Entered the room.. It was very basic, run down and damaged, the window was falling apart, there were holes in the 1 chair, plug sockets were damaged, and the TV did not work. The bathroom was awful... The floor was uneven.. With a drain right in the middle of the floor, the shower head was full of limescale and dirt, the shaver socket was not safe to us at all... Alongside this there were multiple cracks and stains on the walls in both bathroom and room. The window did not close properly which meant you could here the traffic and the noise from the pub all night. There was constant banging and voices through the night.

The bed was so solid, one of the wall lights was constantly flickering. We counted 20 police cars with lights an sirens going in an hour an a half 2 fire engines. Didn't exactly make us feel safe. I understand that it's a great price for london but the place really needs an update an a professional cleaner in it regularly. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
• james (2/5): DO NOTSTAY HERE - This place was filthy! It was actually the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was damaged and neglected with torn and stained carpets, nothing was clean, hair in the sheets and a bug in the BED (under the comforter!)the shower was full of mildew! DO NOT STAY HERE! I booked for 2 nights and arrived at midnight on the first night. It was too late to find another place. In the morning I immediately checked out@7:35am and asked for a refund for the next night but they said no. It was unacceptable and filthy.

That they stopped preparing meals during covid time. Why then does the facility charge and accept payments for breakfast? They booked me into a room which was very smelly with a carpet which had been cleaned but was not let to dry before i was assigned the room. I was charged for breakfast which was not provided.

• Zackery (2/5): Last resort. - The cost for London was reasonable and close to the underground station located right out the front door. Hair was on comforter and supposed clean sheets upon arrival. Posting sadi laundry available. Staff informed that it is not true and sent to Laundromat 15 minutes walk away. Day shift staff sternly and aggressively questioned if we had a room and key when we returned from day activities and started up the stairs. No elevator. Graffiti all over the surrounding neighborhood.
