• Christian (8/5): Good value for money, good location and friendly staff - Friendly staff, cheap price, and a good location close to the beach. The room is cleaned regularly. The bed is very comfortable and comes with the largest number of pillows I've ever seen. Restaurants & mini markets are close by. Overall a satisfying experience for the price. Greasy food smells drift into the room at dinner time (however you should be outside at the beach or eating at that time anyway). The shower was cold and I got an electric shock trying to change that.

• Sally (1/5): Appealing never again - Do not attempt to book this hotel or stay at it when you arrive. They then say the room is not available or it’s been broken by a previous guess and try to make you book a room double the price you’ve paid this has not only been my experience, but as I have returned back to a different island in the Galapagos I am told this is a tactic used by this hotel a lot !? The staff were threatening an intimidating with a very unpleasant experience and HOSTEL
• sep (7/5): Prima accommodatie met onverwacht vervelend eind - Ruime comfortabele kamer, op loopafstand van strand en restaurants Toen het op betalen aankwam moesten we plotseling 10% extra betalen als we met credit card wilden betalen terwijl de betaling via credit card gegarandeerd was. We konden ik cash betalen, maar opnamekosten lopen dan ook op naar €20. Allemaal niet volgens afspraak, tijdrovend en erg onaangenaam. Erg jammer want verder is de accommodatie zeker aan te raden

• Amanda (9/5): Isabela Island - I had the room on the 3rd floor which I really enjoyed. It was light and airy with a view of palm trees and you could see the water between some buildings. They were very helpful with tours which were all very good. It is in a good location. I didn't like breakfast so much.
• Khosro (1/5): NOT recommended! With the same budget, there is a lot of better options on the island. - Absolutely nothing! The room was dirty & the bed was really uncomfortable. The staff did not care at all. I asked them for help with taxi reservations or ferry ticket purchase & they told me rudely that it’s not their business!

We also thought we were in the top room with ‘views of the flamingos’ however we’re not. We are not sure if this was our booking issue or we were issued a different room. The room was pretty noisy to the street with a rooster singing allllll night and dogs barking.
• Imme (7/5): Nice central stay in Isabella Close to the Beach and with breakfast - Its just one Block from the Beach in a Nice área We had free Breakfast Staff was nice First Room we didnt Like it was on the ground floor just with a Window to the staircase. Shower didnt get hot. We Change the second night (paid more) for a nicer Room. However cleaniness in kitchen area and If you looked too Close- Should be improved. Mold in the bathroom Price is too high for what it is in comparison with other accomodations.

Three sides of the room has windows that open which gave a nice breeze at night and the sun island breakfast that we included in our stay was great! The location is really good as well, about a 15 min walk from the docks and is right next to many good restaurants for lunch/dinner. Overall, we were really comfortable and enjoyed our stay

• Lori (4/5): Disappointing - The location was great. Staff was nice… for the ten minutes we saw her. There was no toilet paper and no clean towels. We never saw the host after the ten minutes day one. We emailed the address on the wall two times on two different days, but no response. Then, emailed them through booking.com again with no response. There was nobody around the two nights we were there.
• Kith_travels (5/5): just blah - the cleanliness. hot water in shower. the staff were too laid back in that I had to ask for everything e.g. where water refill is, how to pay, if there is a taxi service coming to the place etc. Also there was a light on the entire time in the corridor + the room only has sheer curtains so it was difficult to sleep with the light shininging into the room. The owners are not even on site late so I couldn't ask anyone to help with this.

They helped me plan my activities and organize tours for me, contacting the owners of the tour agencies themselves. • Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - Jhonny and Sunny were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious. The shower gets very hot if that's to your preference, though I took cooler showers. AC as advertised, but there's also a really nice ceiling fan. Bed was very comfortable, pretty quiet in my opinion and easy to rest and recover!

• Karen (10/5): Favourite place we stayed in Galápagos! - Great location, staff, room, and view from room. Really good breakfast - something different everyday and lots of food (never left hungry at all). Lots of stairs but needed for the beautiful view.
• Verena (5/5): not worth the money - the location is good. the view is also nice. the staff is friendly and helpful. the communication through WhatsApp was always quick with Nelly, she was caring and always there with a quick fix. The room got cleaned everyday, also with fresh towels. for 90 dollars a night I expect more, even on the Galápagos Islands. the bathroom was never really clean ( hairs on the windowsill which where not ours), the windows weren’t clean either. the fridge had an old opened bottle of water during our whole stay. there is no place for the beach wear to hang. there is a misleading picture ( picture number 8) which suggest that there is an rooftop outdoor area, but it’s actually just the view from the window pictured from a weird angle. the communication before our stay was a mess, I never really got an (proper) answer to my questions, very unprofessional. we asked for a taxi three times, they told us it’s going to be there- well it wasn’t. in the end we talked to a staff member and she ordered us a taxi up on our request ( which was then the 4th request). the restaurant was only open till noon - then they closed the place with ropes, which is not very inviting. we really don’t understand the good reviews.
• Julia (2/5): very muldy, dirty - dont book it !! - The logo on the towels is the only what I found nice there. Im It was not the nice room like on the pictures, I got the room on the ground floor with no daylight and the walls where moldy, it was disgusting. The owner "cleaned" my room the next day, she touched all my staff and mixed it to other places, e.g. put my dirty clothes to my freh ones. First of all - they dont had to touch my private things and it was not cleaning cause you cant clean a moldy room well. She also doesn't closed the window after cleaning - so I had a lot of insects when I came back and then I changed the hostal !! She only said sorry with her bad english, I had the feeling that she give the better rooms ( 3 in summary ) to the Ecuador people and this distusting room to people from Europe.... Also the ventilation was plenty muldy - please watch the pictures....its unhealthy to stay there !!! The restaurant was only open for breakfast - the most of the time the small place in front, the only place there where you can sit outside was closed with a rope. So a bad room, no place to sit outside, no place to let dry your bath clothes or towels...I cant understand the good reviews. All the other hostals in Puerto Villamil have minimum a place for sitting outside and a rope for wet clothes.

• Gramadni (8/5): There is room for improvement - The room on the top was excellent, the wind was circulating, we didn't use the AC, it has a very nice view. The bed was large and comfortable. They cleaned the room every day. The staff was helpful. The pillows were very light, our heads were basically on the mattress. The bathroom was very tight, there were no soap, no shampoo and no place to hang the towels. The second room we booked for our children was on the bottom and has no window.

• David (6/5): - It was a basic as it gets and very disappointing! I was scared to death b/c the shower didn't work at all for 2 or 3 minutes until the water started trickling out. It needs major updating in the bathroom. We were laughing b/c so many are so fat they would not even fit in the room or especially th bathroom! No Lie! They also closed at noon. No desk shrive or anything. U cannot even go on a tour b/c if it s a day your leaving later in the day you have no where to leave your luggage! really weird and unacceptable!
• Verified traveler (2/5): Hotel cancelled less then 24 hours - Booked this 2 days in advance. Got contact from hotel stating that by room is not available and not other rooms available. No other options were offered. Asked for alternatives myself, was recommended some hostel which is not even on Expedia. Quite dissapointed.

• Alex (10/5): Nice cozy hotel, very close to beach. - The owner greeted us with a smile and gave us a very good summary of the island and the activites. The room was very clean and very pretty, with a good view over the town center and the ocean. We had a beautiful trip.
• yvonne (8/5): Nice hotel with lovely friendly staff - This is a nice hotel which has all the amenities you require. We stayed here a week and had a lovely time. Its right on the main road and overlooks the sea. Very comfortable with air conditioning and a ceiling fan too. There is a fridge which was replenished with water every day.
