Guest Reviews
- Jessica (7/5): -
- Crisp (5/5): - The cabin was spotless and quiet.
It was not far from the town centre. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable.
We got no sleep for 2 nights.
We spoke too a nice young lady who told us they were doing the beds up.
Also the signage was not well lit coming back from the town centre at night.
- Laxmikant (9/5): -
- Samantha (6/5): - Beautiful location, we stayed in a chalet. Just the perfect size for a family of 4 with a amazing view The chalet wasn’t really cleaned. My kids found chewed bubblegum in between the bunk beds
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Peter (6/5): -
- Laura (8/5): Pleasant. I’ll be back - Simple and easy It’s like the room wasn’t cleaned properly. Mirror and taps were a bit gross and lots of dust and dirt on the floors
- Amanda Cristina (3/5): A lot of issues, horrible mattresses, cabin needs maintenance, no recreation room as advised. - Location - all mattresses in our room were horrible.
The double size one, it was so bad that my husband and I woke up crippled in the next day.
- my dad also had issues with the bunk bed. We even tried to use the bunk bed mattresses but they were also very bad quality.
- cabin was always smelling poo, even with the exhaust and window open. We believe the pipes are not the best.
- We failed to find the Enter. Room, we used the map but all that area just had “authorised people only). Plenty signs of arrows but no sign on the actual place saying “entertainment room”. We believe they closed it down, even though there are pictures of it for use.
- we arrived at 16 pm on Saturday (holiday), no one was on duty, Sunday we were out, Monday the reception light was on, but no one on duty again for us to talk. I get it that it was holidays, but with so many problems we had, we wanted at least clarify all those points before leaving and maybe even leave a not that detailed comments as a feedback on booking.com.
Overall, it was cheap but it was not worth it.
Don’t recommend it.

- Wendy (8/5): - The location was great. Really tidy park and loved the idea that it's pet friendly. The rattan chairs to sit on, really not comfortable! The shower was hard to regulate especially when you have kids.
- Nicole (10/5): Very friendly park, great for families and good rates - Clean and tidy, close to speedway where we were attending, plenty of space to park our large trailers
- Lilibeth (10/5): Excellent. - Clean and Close to City Centre. The entry point a little hard to see especially at night.
- Deirdre (9/5): -
- Anne-Marie (6/5): - Quiet, pleasant surroundings and well-maintained grounds. The hot water system when using the shower fluctuated a lot, could get extremely hot suddenly.
- Lorraine (7/5): -
- Peter (3/5): - Run down . shower taps leaking water .
Batteries flat in tv remote. Hob fan dirty.
- Michelle (5/5): - Close to things The floors were dirty had lolly pop sticks on the ground. And couldnt pen the blinds when entering the cabin they just stick. Bowls aren't bowls had to buy some so kids could eat cereal.
Loads of banging outside

- cobwebbqueen (6/5): Comfortable stay in a basic cabin on the outskirts of Albany. - Helpful staff, small but comfy cabin. On the outskirts of town not in Albany itself. No aircon in the unit.

- Monique (9/5): -
- Karlena (9/5): Exactly as advertised - Location Older style of chalets means most things are outdated
- Melissa (3/5): Not impressed - The 5 sleeper cabin is not comfortable for even 4 people (2 adults & 2 kids). Bunk beds very uncomfortable. Bathroom very small, the shower can't open properly as it bumps onto the toilet. The freezer door in the kitchen can't open properly as it's too close to the wall.
- Barb (10/5): Mostly enjoyable, the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. - Easy location to find. Convenient to have a garage & store across the road. I felt that 6 people in the chalet would have been cramped if it was all adults. The room with the bunk beds was a bit too small. Also a shame there were only two BBQ's .
- Tina (7/5): - The peaceful are we were Stove top kettle, beds were quite uncomfortable.

- Jacobs (8/5): - The staff was super friendly, got a free upgrade to a bigger chalet. Property was clean, good location. Bbq facilities and a play area for the kids. Owners were easily reachable if needed. Cannot be faulted
- Hashan (6/5): There’s a lot of room to improve and the place can be turned to something exceptional with some effort - Facilities and location Not clean enough. No enough milk for the stay, extra pillows

- Carole (7/5): We expected it to be better - The actual location of the Holiday Park was good. The ground facilities looked okay. The staff member we dealt with on the phone and at reception on arrival was lovely and very helpful and friendly. I think what let us down about our 2 night stay was that the cabin looked like it needed work and some repairs that had been done were very basic cover overs. The bathroom light flickered, the fluro light in the kitchen was only operating with one tube and the cover was badly cracked. The shower temperature took some mastering to get it right. Rang8ng from cold to too hot.
The bunk beds were very low and for an adult quite claustraphobic.
I expect that the pedastal fan and fan heater wouldnt be adequate in extremes of summer and winter for the whole cabin. A boarded over space above the fridge high on the wall indicated that there had perhaps been an airconditioning unit there at one time.
The disappointing part was we expected it to be better (a bit bigger having booked for 3 adults) based on the price. It was quite cramped. The bathroom door opened out onto the vanity and the showerscreen door hit the side of the toilet seat.
It was lucky we only used it as a place to sleep while visiting Albany for a family wedding.
- Maureen (9/5): - Location was quiet and private. Nowhere close to eat but that wasn't a huge issue.
- Stacey (10/5): - Beautiful area. There wasn't a couch to relax on..

- Two Tavos (8/5): A short stay made easy by the staff - What Breakfast !! Everything was fine
- Danny (8/5): -
- Abrar Fahad (10/5): It was beautiful - Excellent
- Bashu (7/5): -
- Biju (1/5): Never go as families there, very narrow internal roads with too many rules..better go for a bigger area accomodation for - Criminal attitude Park Management staff….i never recommend families to go there… It turned our Holliday as a trauma for us …it was scary to be there…
- Jennifer Partington (7/5): Suited my needs for work purposes as a single traveler. - I stayed here for work purposes. The bed was comfortable and large. There was plenty of hanging space in the main bedroom. Room was clean but it is old and dated. The sleeping facilities for children are bunk-beds in the passage-way and the unit will be cramped for a family of 4. Old and dated room. I could not adjust the settings on the TV. There is no electrical kettle or air-conditioner and no ceiling fans. This unit would be very hot in summer.
- Thesa (8/5): -
- Agnes (10/5): - Our accommodation is clean and comfortable.
- Umair (5/5): -
- Jodanne (9/5): Spent a lot of time in the cabin as unfortunately my child was unwell when on holiday and it was very comfortable and co - Convenient location
Quiet park
The shower was good Would be good if the front door could be covered from rain as the table and chairs is but not front door so everything got wet right near the door.
Would also be handy to have a dish rack for draining dishes.
- Jasmine (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and comfortable No where undercover to park in the rain
- Kerry (8/5): Very good - Close to town value for money clean and tidy Rooms was cold bed luncomfortable
Noisy fan heater
- Chris (8/5): - comfortable bed
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Quiet, comfortable, convenient. Helpful, happy staff.
- Alastair (7/5): Good value accommodation - Nice rural outlook from our cabin, very quiet. All good, cabin getting on a bit in ages but clean and tidy and good value.

- Gillian (8/5): Very good -
- Leriza (10/5): Very comfortable, quiet and clean - Clean, and cosy. Every necessity provided The Property was perfect
- Renee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Warren (3/5): The park could be a real gen, The cabins need replacing or a full makeover, the cabin are a true let down of this park. - Very nice green park plenty of grass areas, clean park The cabins were truly awful, I’m still itching a day later from the dust mites, holes in the bedroom floor with damp and mould, broken light fixtures, bathroom fan was so dirty, no air conditioner, nothing to stop kids falling from the top bunks, we had to improvise with what we had available,a real 1980 relic cabin in poor condition.
- Basil (4/5): Do not recommend to others - location is good Rooms not spacious and chalet looks very old and not properly cleaned
- Md (1/5): Bad -
- Ayesha (10/5): Exceptional - A small cabin with all facilities...will book again
Thanks
- Anne (7/5): Good -
- Oshila (5/5): Passable -
- Rachel (7/5): We enjoyed our stay in Albany. The park & reception staff we saw on arrival & departing were lovely however th - Easy to locate. Set out nice Our cabin was not clean… the toilet hadn’t been cleaned & there was poop left in the unflushed toilet & the toilet paper had obviously been opened and rubbish in the bin in bathroom. I had to clean it ..
There were numerous cobwebs all through the cabin that clearly hadn’t been vacuumed off or wiped off for a long time
Mould on the ceiling in the bathroom
All of the above totally UNACCEPTABLE
I did advise the staff member at reception
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Lhabchung (9/5): Superb -
- elaine (8/5): - Enjoyed stay. Confused with entry and exit signs. Park is upgrading
- Bibek (4/5): Disappointing -
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (5/5): Would probably not recommend the chalets, will stay elsewhere in the future. - Close to the petrol station. Booked a deluxe chalet with a bunk bed for our 2 kids. Ended up with a “deluxe” chalet with 2 double beds instead, 1 of which was in the same room as the lounge, dining room and kitchen. No privacy at all. Quite dirty on arrival. In need of an update.
No wifi, dvd player, apps were not available on the tv.
There are still brochures in the front office advertising businesses that are no longer open. Staff had no idea.
- Megan (8/5): Very good -
- Rhiannon (4/5): Disappointing -
- Gaus (7/5): Good -
- Sally (6/5): Pleasant - Location was very convenient Chalet was old and probably needs a bit of updating. Cleanliness wasn't great. Some of the draws in the kitchen were dirty and when I got the kettle out it was dirty and greasy on the outside. Very small and seating was not comfortable.
- Chinthaka (3/5): Poor -
- Marius (8/5): Very good -
- Sonam (5/5): Passable - Bed was not cleaned properly
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Tania (8/5): Very good - Clean and tidy. Friendly service.. Very good location..
- Elizabeth (6/5): Cheap and cheerful accommodation, in convenient location - The park was really lovely, lots of birds and it was nice and quiet. We enjoyed sitting and watching the world go by.
- Boyd (7/5): We were happy with our stay and service from the staff - We had a cabin and self catered our breakfast
Location was easy to find and easy access to down town Albany
- Michelle (4/5): Not great - Spacious holiday park with room for kids to run and play outdoors Lots of amenities not working. Power regularly tripping. Tv not working. Kettle and microwave faulty. Lots of bugs entering the room. Gaps in shower walls.
- Robert (7/5): Good -
- David (3/5): Dissapponting - The cabin should not be used for guests. It’s very old and requires considerable upgrades.
