They can arrange for scooter rentals and taxis if need. It’s the perfect tropical get away. Do yourself a favor and book here. We loved everything. Nothing negative to say. • Elinor (10/5): Dream stay in the jungle - LOVED out stay here. The bathroom was like a jungle and it felt close to the nature. Not too far from the center, but enough far away to feel secluded. The bed was a little hard, but overall that didn’t bother us.

• P (6/5): Hotel de 2 estrellas con potencial para 4 - El entorno y la vista es precioso. El potencial de la habitación es visible. Check-in: llegamos a la zona de noche y no había ningún cartel ni luz, estamos totalmente a oscuras la zona de acceso. El hotel está integrado en la jungla en una gran cuesta arriba, digamos, en medio de la nada. Estábamos totalmente perdidos, llamamos y nadie cogía el teléfono. Menos mal que había un chico (en medio de la nada trabajando en una casa) que llamó a alguien quién apareció de una casa en pijama y nos hizo el check-in sin saber nada de inglés. La verdad es que estuvimos por la ‘jungla’ como 15 minutos intentado averiguar donde era el hotel. No hay luz ni señal alguna y no hay recepción. Hasta que vimos un libro viejo en la habitación con información de restaurantes con el logo, no teníamos certeza de dónde estábamos. La habitación está muy descuidada, está casi todo roto y viejo. Los armarios llenos de cosas sin sentido. El cabecero de la cama muy sucio. Todo está descuidado. Al lado hay como bungalows abandonados, así que te da la sensación de que estás perdido en medio de la nada y no en un mini complejo de bungalows. Si bien, con un poco o mucho cariño en la zona de acceso (mínimo iluminación y señaletica) y mantenimiento de las habitaciones podrían hacer un hotel precioso, ya que tiene encanto natural. Creo que 4 estrellas no se corresponden para nada con el servicio brindado ni el precio, actualmente el hotel es como mucho de 2 estrellas. Para mi gusto es un hotel correcto si buscas un 2 estrellas en medio de la naturaleza, pero no 4 estrellas en ningún caso porque las instalaciones y el servicio dejan mucho que desear. Creo que no se puede estafar al huésped solo por una vista a mar desde un bungalow.

(Pour peu qu’on n’ait pas peur du dénivelé) Accueil assez sommaire Book assez précis mais invitant surtout à contacter des gens par WhatsApp : ça manque terriblement d’un contact humain surtout quand vous arrivez et cherchez à comprendre comment vous allez vous organiser

Instructions to find the room we're confusing, But I'm quite sure that the property would have arranged the pickup from the pier if I had (my bad). In general, it was an amazing experience Hard sloped ramp from the main road to the room. You need to be fit to walk to the room

Like most places in koh Tao, super steep access to the property. And due to its super jungle location, lots and lots of mosquito- bring your repellant !
• Sydney (10/5): Exceptional - Unique and tranquil property set in a cool location- only 5 minutes away from the beach but nestled into a quite cove in the middle of beautiful nature. The owner and staff are so friendly, and the place was spotless. The location is easily accessible to the beach and amazing restaurants. We had a beautiful stay and can’t wait to return soon.

• Natalie (9/5): Beautiful, relaxing, would stay again - The property is absolutely gorgeous and I loved the location since it was a nice walking distance away from things but far enough away from all of the people. Andre and stay are absolutely lovely and will help you with whatever you need. The only real issue lies in if you don’t like creepy crawlers. This is the jungle and the home isn’t sealed, so we had run ins with scorpions, huntsman spiders, armies of ants, and many other bugs.
• Viktoriia (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing house, even better than expected, amazing view from the balcony to the sea, cute squirrels running on the tree branches, such a perfect spot in the true nature.
• Doug (8/5): Very good - Loads of space and nicely equipped kitchen. Main bedroom is comfortable with aircon and fan. Our host, Andre was very responsive and kind. Location is good, although you need a motorbike to get around as it is a bit out of the main action. Outside of main bedroom, the lounge and sitting areas are all out in the open. Very hot and buggy. Without a pool, you must seek a beach to hang out or escape to nicely aircon bedroom. A nice place to stay if you do not mind dealing with the “elements,” although better relative values on beach or with pool can be found.

• Joni (10/5): Unique, comfortable jungle villa a couple minutes away from Sairee - We really really loved the experience we had at La Cigale! A beautifully designed, cosy tropical villa with comfortable bed, semi-outdoor jungle rainshower and great host. Upon arrival we were surprised it was even better than on the pictures. The location is quiet and definitely recommendable if you are in for a relaxed stay on Koh Tao. The areas around Sairee beach can have loud music in the evenings while a two-minute scooter ride has you away from that in your own little jungle bubble. We were super lucky to be able to stay here due to another guests cancellation and have zero regrets picking this unique place instead of a resort. The warm atmosphere, secluded area and possibility to make your own espresso in the morning (beans provided) made me feel at home and wanting to visit again. One must appreciate the local fauna eager to pay a visit every now and then. Especially gecko's love the place too.
• Inna (7/5): A cosy bungalow on a hill, good for a young couple - We liked the host, Andre, who is a very kind and cheerful person. We also rented a bike from him which appeared very convenient and affordable . The coffee machine and the coffee provided by the property were very efficient and tasty, respectively. The property needs repair and upgrade. I would add a roof to the terrace, cut the bamboo in front of it, and make a normal (not stony) floor in the bathroom.
• Julian (9/5): Great, interesting accommodation in a beautiful location - The quality of the bungalow was much higher than I was expecting! It was beautifully, uniquely furnished, and nestled up in the jungle. The outdoor bathroom is very cool, taking a nature shower never gets old. The host was very helpful for the most part and the pickup/dropoff from the ferry pier (quite far away) was much appreciated, and the other staff helping with bags etc were great. I felt valued as a guest. Not a huge issue but the role of the host could be explained a bit better - I wasn't sure whether it was supposed to be always available like a hotel concierge or just doing favours for guests sometimes. At a couple of moments during my stay the host wasn't very responsive, in which case it was hard to know if something (taxi, breakfast, etc) was actually confirmed or not. Having breakfast on the terrace was lovely though the breakfast itself was a bit more expensive and only of average quality. Not a negative per se but it's about 20min walk down to Sairee beach, which is good to be aware of.

We felt welcomed straight away. 😊 The villa itself was everything we ever dreamed of. As it was very rainy and there was lots of bugs, the place was cleaned to perfection every day. Loved everything and looking forward to returning! 🙏
• Noa (9/5): Wish we could have stayed longer! - Great location - walking distance from center but quiet. The owner is one of the nicest people you'll meet, quick to answer whatever question we had and to handle whatever issue. The outdoor shower is such a wonderful experience, and the place is very spacious. It was raining a bit while we were there and a little stream appeared on the walkway to our place which was quite magical. Would definitely stay there again. Not that much of a view from our cabin, only if you stand at a certain angle, maybe other cabins offer more views. Not their fault and they do their best of course but plenty of mosquitoes. Note that while raining the roof in the outdoor shower was a bit leaky and our towels and stuff did get wet over night. Wifi was extremely spotty so not reliable enough to work from, had to use our hotspot. The access road is quite steep, not for beginners if you ride a scooter.
