Algo que realmente hizo especial mi estadía fue la increíble fogata que hacen en la noche; un momento único, perfecto para relajarse, compartir y disfrutar del ambiente. Sin duda, una experiencia que vale la pena repetir. Muy recomendado.
- Luc (8/5): Dans l’ensemble, nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour. - L’endroit est magnifique, avec une ambiance très chill, naturelle et reposante. Le complexe est bien aménagé avec une piscine, terrain de volleyball, des espaces restauration, des coins détente sur la plage, des beds, des poufs, ainsi que des massages possibles. L’ambiance du soir avec le feu de camp est particulièrement agréable. La cuisine est simple mais bonne, et le cadre nature/plage avec quelques animaux rend le lieu encore plus charmant. Le personnel est également très attentionné et disponible, toujours prêt à aider rapidement, parlant plusieurs langues (Espagnol et Anglais). La restauration est un peu chère. Certains espaces (beds tâchés) manquaient d’entretien. La plage n’est pas la plus agréable visuellement, avec vue sur les immeubles et les bateaux, et un sol mêlant sable et cailloux peu confortable. Il y a eu quelques oublis du personnel (demandes à relancer) ainsi que des erreurs sur l’addition, rapidement corrigées mais à noter. Enfin, l’ambiance du soir se termine assez tôt : vers 22h30-23h, nous nous sommes retrouvés seuls au feu de camp car tout le monde était déjà parti, peut-être dû à une réservation en semaine.

Quando chegamos somos muito bem recebidos por uma equipe atenciosa e muito gentil com um welcome drink. As acomodações sao um show a parte. Uma estética selvagem mas muito confortável, com uma cama digna de realeza de cinto de fadas. Das Essen Abend war gut. Der Vibe am Lagerfeuer am Abend war cool. Es ist mehr ein Beachclub als ein Hotel. Die Zimmer waren sehr dunkel und düster. Die Klimaanlage war direkt auf das Bett ausgerichtet. Die Fenster waren dreckig und schmutzig. Auf dem Balkon und a den Fenstern waren Farbflecken. Es kam kein heißes Wasser für eine Dusche - maximal lauwarm. Frühstück war eine Katastrophe. Die WC-Spülung hatte unregelmäßige Aussetzer.

- Carsten (5/5): Gute Lage, Guter Start durch die Begrüßung dann leider stark nachgelassen - Wir sind mit dem Boot angekommen und uns hat die persönliche Begrüßung sehr gut gefallen. Gepäck wurde uns abgenommen und obwohl wir sehr früh waren konnten wir nach ein paar Minuten das Zimmer beziehen und umziehen und gleich die Anlage genießen. Am Abend war es eine sehr angenehme Stimmung durch die Lichter und die Dekoration. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und es ist in vielen Bereichen ein Update notwendig und den positiven Eindruck der Ankunft durch den gesamten Aufenthalt zu halten, sowohl im Zimmer als auch die Ausstattung am Strand. Wir waren sehr früh wach und wollten den Strand geniessen aber leider waren frische Strandhandtücher erst ab 10 Uhr zur Verfügung, auch der Service an der Bar war erst nach Eintreffen der Tagesgäste vorhanden. Ein Punkt hat uns gar nicht gefallen, wir hatten unsere Zimmerkarte am Strand in der Anlage verloren und der Ersatz der Plastikkarte wurde uns in Rechnung gestellt.

Les photos doivent dater - La chambre était spacieuse, bel accueil avec boisson, feu le soir au restaurant et distribution de chamalow La longueur du service ! Que ce soit au petit déjeuner ou au dîner. Il y a beaucoup de personnel mais il manque de formation. L'établissement dans son ensemble aurait besoin d'un bon coup de peinture, il paraît délabré, c'est dommage... Deux nuits étaient suffisantes.
- Vera (6/5): - Het ontbijt was goed! We waren heel blij met onze kamer. De kwaliteit van het eten in het restaurant viel tegen. Het is ook niet een hele geschikte locatie voor gezinnen. Elke dag van 10u in de ochtend tot minstens 23u in de avond hele harde muziek wat niet stopt. Op 1 avond trilden onze ramen er zelfs van, het was niet normaal en er werd niets gedaan met onze klachten. Meer een party resort, wat prima is maar maak er dan adults only van. Heel veel zwerfhonden die ook op de fatboys zitten en dus onder de haren en pis zitten. Het eiland zelf is bedolven onder afval, we zijn na 10 minuten teruggekeerd waardoor je dus genoodzaakt bent in het resort te blijven en te eten.

Everything was a hassle and in the end they charged us double from the minibar: Boat trip had to be reconfirmed 3 times, check in took an hour only to be informed next day that we are not checked in, breakfast orders came wrong and special diets were not taken into consideration. Check out and sorting the invoice took an hour and ended up still being wrong. they tried to double charge the boat trip and next day I noticed that minibar was charged twice. tried to rectify it with them and they didn't respond to email/whatsapp/insta inquiries. House had only 1 key and 2 complimentary coffees for 4 people.

Aunque lo pedimos varias veces, nunca fue nadie a explicarnos cómo era la caja fuerte, la llave no funcionaba, el sifón de la ducha estaba tapado, nunca nos mandaron el teléfono para comunicarnos por si necesitábamos algo entonces todo el tiempo debíamos ir hasta la recepción. Disfrutamos mucho la estadía y nos pareció muy lindo, pero el servicio puede mejorar y en los baños falta algo para colgar las toallas.

- Louka Divera Maria (1/5): Horrible experience, don’t go here. - The food was good, a bit pricy though. And some staff members were kind. That’s it. Don’t go here! We booked Fenix Beach because we wanted a comfortable and safe place to stay and were willing to pay a premium for that. Unfortunately, our experience was the exact opposite. It already started badly before arrival. We received unclear and inconsistent information about the transfer costs. We were asked to pay more than what was initially communicated, and when we questioned this, we were told the extra charge was for an “insurance” that could not be explained. Later, this suddenly turned out to be optional. This felt very suspicious and created a lack of trust from the beginning. Upon arrival, things did not improve. The check-in process was chaotic, and we were asked which room we had booked (something they should know themselves). After paying, we later discovered that the same “insurance” we had declined was still added to our bill without our consent. The room we were given was not what we booked at all. We paid for a garden view room with a terrace, but instead we were placed in a hidden room behind a wall, with no view and no terrace. On top of that, the room had multiple issues: torn mosquito net (they promised to replace but never did) broken flickering light bathroom door that got stuck air conditioning that barely worked (either very cold or hot air, no inbetween) leaking sink that soaked our belongings Instead of offering a different room, staff tried to fix things while we were there. The sink was literally removed for repair while we were in the room. Afterwards, the bathroom had been “cleaned” using our own towels, which were left soaking wet, and even the toilet paper was completely wet and not replaced. Only after complaining multiple times (four times) were we finally moved to another room, which turned out to be the room type we had originally booked. This made it feel like we were initially placed in the worst possible room on purpose. The behaviour of some staff members was also very concerning.

- Marina (5/5): - A 10-min, easy boat trip from Cartagena. Easy check-in. The deluxe bungalow was pleasantly decorated. Beds, bed linen and bath towels were clean and extremely comfortable. Beach loungers and overall outdoors furniture was comfortable as well. The beach area is small than inferred from the photos. Although is not the hotel's fault, guests should be aware that the sea and the sand may be dirty, apparently due to the boat and ship flux between the hotel and the city, and the tides that appear to bring rubbish from the rest of the island, worsened by rubbish left by some of the guests in the beachfront. This is particularly dangerous as we found glass shards in the beach area and observed the cleaning staff were not thorough when sweeping the sand area. The menu breakfast has a good amount of options, including a few vegetarian ones -- however, the food portion small considering the hotel's daily rates and the prices in the menu. Another key problem was communication about transportation. We booked our airpoirt shuttle (taxi plus roundtrip boat ride) via WhatsApp prior to our arrival. However, whilst at the hotel, another employee informed us that all morning boat rides between Fenix and Cartagena were free of cost, therefore, by not knowing this in advance, we thought all boat transfers were paid and had to be included in the airtport shuttle overall cost. We had one major issue which was not appropriately dealt with by the staff. Our room went without water for over 10 hours. Firstly, the staff did not warn us, not did they pro-actively offered us a waiver off the day's rate or any reasonable compensation. Instead, we used by the better half of our last day there, informing the Front Desk of the issue at least 3 times at the Front Desk and, still, we did not get a clear guidance as to whether or when water supply would resume. On top of the infraestructure issue poorly dealt with by the staff, we felt we did part of their work for them by raising awareness to the problem and suggesting solutions.

- Mila (6/5): Convenient because it is a short boat ride trip, but not the best experience. - The food was excellent and waiters very attentive (beach and restaurant). Beware when making reservations, there was a scam involving the hotel via WhatsApp. Fraudulous messages to be careful with. Then, I received conflicting information about the transportation booking (boat arrangements). Upon arrival, I received very little attention as a solo female traveler. Clearly, men and families were given priority. While waiting, I asked for information about excursions and was told I would receive it via WhatsApp, but I never did. The information was lost from employees switching shifts. When I was accompanied to my room, I was given incorrect information about the complimentary water and coffee which the reception tried charging me at check out. Unfortunately, I had to argue to avoid being charged for something that was supposedly included. Things always seemed like a hassle and became unnecessarily complicated. The Fenix Suite, while nice, wasn't very clean (hair in the shower and in the bed). At night, the music was very loud and played until very late. Guests should be informed about this before booking. If you’re looking for tranquility, this is not the right place. The towels were very dirty and stained; overall, it was disappointing. On the positive side, the food was very good, and the waiters were very friendly and the manager came to apologize in person to try and make the last few hours of my stay more enjoyable. I appreciated the customer service provided then, but it had to come with a complaint.

Es un lugar perfecto para desconectarse, con un ambiente tranquilo, buena atención y espacios ideales para relajarse frente al mar. Sin duda, es una excelente opción para disfrutar de un día diferente y recargar energías.
- TobiM102 (8/5): LUXUS an schönem Sandstrand - - Lage, Hotelanlage sowie Strand sehr sauber und mega schön - Schöne Aussicht auf Cartagena und blaues Wasser und weißer Strand - Strandhunde waren unser Highlight: sehr zutraulich, verspielt, Personal hat sich um sie gekümmert und die Hunde haben die nervigen Strandverkäufer vertrieben. Weiter so! - Bett und Zimmer waren sehr groß und geräumig - Frühstück und Essen im Hotel sehr gut, Preise ähnlich wie in Deutschland, aber kolumbianische Verhältnisse teuer. - Hotel nur mit hoteleigenem Boot erreichbar. Preis hin und zurück von 12€ p.P. Muss man extra bezahlen sowie die 4,50€ Hafengebührt (könnte man bei dem hohen Preis auch inbegriffen haben) - Uhrzeiten für den Transfer auch sehr dürftig. Nur 3 Uhrzeiten hin und zurück zwischen 10 und 17 Uhr. Müsste man deutlich flexibler gestalten - Personal an der Rezeption nicht wirklich hilfreich, haben uns keinerlei Informationen zum Hotel gegeben, nicht mal das WLAN Passwort - Badezimmer sehr klein, Dusche mit kaum Strahl, so dass man den Sand nur schwer wegbekommt. - Zimmer viel zu dunkel! Muss zwingend eine bessere Beleuchtung her. Ganz anders als auf den Bildern dargestellt - Zimmer schlecht isoliert. Wurden morgens von Vögeln leider geweckt teils sehr unsanft -Strandliegen viel zu hart. Habe mir dabei Rückenprobleme zugezogen. - DJ wurde im Laufe des Tages immer lauter, was die entspannte Atmosphäre stört. Dazu kommen noch Tagesgäste, die unter Umständen die Ruhe ebenfalls stören (hatten wir Glück, dass wenig da waren) - wurde am Checkout Tag mehrfach per Mail, WhatsApp und persönlich auf eine Bewertung hingewiesen. Sollte immer noch mir überlassen sein, ob und wie ich bewerte (fand ich sehr penetrant) - Aufgrund des Preises bin ich leider in der Bewertung sehr pingelig, jedoch war es eine wirklich sehr schöne Zeit im Hotel :)

Bom café da manhã, boa estrutura de praia, bons preços praticados no restaurante. Há oscilação e pequenas quedas de energia elétrica, mas que não compromete a hospedagem. Há falta de água quente no bangalô, água para banho no chuveiro é em temperatura ambiente.

Drink water voorziening is veelste duur. 4€ voor een flesje water wat een standaard levensbehoefte is, is niet ok. Op het strand ok, maar niet in de slaapkamer. Douche is matig met alleen koud water.

It's crazily overpriced and has poor service. - - The beach and the place is quite nice - The DJ was a nice addition - Cesar - the only cool person from the staff - they charge random prices for the drinks and the price is always different than the menu - the menu as a whole is highly overpriced - our check-in was delayed by over an hour because of reasons we don't know. The only thing we got for it was "sorry guys" - there are micropayments all over the place. They try to rip you off on everything they can(some shady necessary insurance). You would not expect that in a "premium" hotel - there are some organized closed events quite often. Because of that they focus on those and treat regular guests like third class customers - the breakfast is between 8 and 10. Even if you come before 8 and order first, you will still wait for the food until 9 - to get there you need a boat. Don't worry - the hotel will provide you with a small, expensive boat for a 10 minute trip. - we were promised that while we are in the hotel we can take the same boat to Cartagena for free. Then they charged us for the trip. Funny enough it was a different price than the one where we came to hotel - we asked them to organize us a transport from the island to Baru(our next destinantion). We had to remind them multiple times and at the end they told us "we can't do that". Bear with me - They couldn't call someone in the docks to pick us up. It took me 3 minutes in the docks without knowing anyone, the place or the god damn language to do that. Laziness at the next level. - it's a ghost town after dusk. They care only about the events for companies/other people.

- Heidi (7/5): Great for sunbathing. - The staff was really kind and helpful. Getting there was pretty simple. The room was nice, the bed was pretty comfortable. The A/C worked pretty well. The food was good. There was no hot water in the shower - I asked about it, expecting them to fix it, but was told hot water didn’t come with our room (this was not mentioned in the booking). You have to pay for water and each bottle is like $3. The rest of the island is pretty bleak. It’s run down and has litter everywhere. There are a couple little bodegas where you can buy drinks or snacks for decent prices. I thought there would be things to do on the island, but there really isn’t anything to do besides sun bathe at the hotel. If this is your goal, it’s great. We were bored and even though the boat ride is only 10 minutes back to Cartagena, it’s kind of pricey and not convenient to go back and forth. Oh, also, there are TONS of stray dogs and cats all over the resort and the island. I don’t think we’d stay again.

- Cleber D. (5/5): Se quiser conforto e tranquilidade, evite o local! - A localização é boa para quem deseja curtir uma praia e ter acesso à cidade de Cartagena. O hotel não informa no descritivo dos quartos (no site do Booking) que alguns deles não há água aquecida no chuveiro. Conseguimos mudar de quarto depois de 3 noites. A equipe do hotel é muito desorganizada, pois cada um fornece uma informação que não é confirmada posteriormente por outros. O cadápio é limitado para estadias acima de 3 dias. O atendimento não segue um padrão de qualidade, tendo funcionários muito prestativos e cordiais (como a Lira) e outros que não se preocupam em nada com a empatia. O hotel tem som com DJ o dia todo (até a noite), então não é um lugar quieto, mas sim bem agitado, especialmente porque se permite "day pass" e assim a área de praia fica cheia de pessoas que vêm passar o dia. Por fim, a internet é péssima (se precisar dela, esqueça!) e no primeiro quarto que ficamos a televisão não tinha antena e nem se conectava à internet.

- Andres (7/5): Beautiful beach location but service quality has declined from previous stays. - The sea at Fenix beach was great, and the restaurant was excellent as always. The location and beach setting remain beautiful. I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times before and have always enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, this stay didn't match my previous experiences. I always rent one of the main cabins with a mayordomo, but this time the service from him and the team was not as good as before. Restaurant availability was also disappointing - not sure if this was because my stay was close to the holidays. Additionally, communication via WhatsApp for pickup arrangements was quite slow.
