- Rafal (2/5): - Horrible in general
Swimming pool closed
Room dumped and aircon smelly
Charged more than on booking voucher and the most stupie explanation of overcharging
Breakfast late, cold and no hot drinks
- Magdalena (6/5): - I called before and after reserving the room to make sure, I get a downstairs, first floor room. When I called I was told that there was first floor room available, but once I got there, NO downstairs room available.
- Maycon Ricardo (10/5): - Everything was okay for 65 dollars 👍
- Ted (8/5): - Staff was friendly. I love a motel where I can park at my door. That was very convenient. The room was clean. I don’t have any complaints.
- Jeff (6/5): - Place is a dump. Needs a rebuild
- Corey (4/5): - The location was great, right off the interstate, check was great. My check in was compromised due to Hotel agreement with Expedia, the lady working from desk made it an easy process. The hotel rooms are infested with roaches
- Salvador (6/5): - Bathtub drain did not work
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everything was good
- Veronica (2/5): Very disappointed with hotel La Hacienda - We were not happy with our stay , the first room was hot the ac wasn't working so we were moved to another room , then we left and when we went back to our room the ac , wifi and cable weren't working at all , we didn't even stay in the room for 2 hours the beds weren't even used cuz we had to leave cuz it was to hot 😤😤😤😤
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room is very spacious and clean!
- Nathaniel (8/5): Good location - Good place and features.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Nasty, old and dirty - This property is old, nasty and smells horrible.
The room was so nasty I was afraid to touch anything, there were burn holes all over the bed top blanket.
The carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, had huge spots all over. There were holes in the walls, and the whole room smelled like it had been flooded and never cleaned afterwards. A nasty moldy smell all around. The stairs to go up the second floor were very unsafe, felt like you could fall right through. There were drug addicts wandering around the property, and staff didn't seem to care at all. This property should be closed and demolished!!!! I recommend you stay way from here and book somewhere else.
- N/A (2/5): - Roaches wouldnt even stay here. Unorganized. Made reservations. There was nothing reserved. Gave me a scorching HOT, stinking smokers room! Had to sleep in truck because gross and HOT!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Terrible customer service..old furniture ...bad condition parking area...I had a bad customer service experience
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Like the fact,I got a great price at Expedia, but hate the fact Expedia doesn't have monthly specials or weekly specials, since am looking forward to stay a while, sadly I have to do this process all over every day,but I think you all do this on purpose, set us up for failure to make an extra buck, other than that everything is good about the hotel "La Hacienda" except that it says free breakfast but all they offer is cereal and toasted bread :( that is sad, cause other hotels for the same price offer a great variety of choices for breakfast..
- JesusHernandez (6/5): - I forgot my AirPods there and when I call to ask if someone have pick them up, they said the house keeper didn’t see them, I am very disappointed of their staff
- Gregg (6/5): Ok but could be better but good for price - Service was great but they do need some maintance and upgrades of some items (ie bathroom, bed, etc)
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room is some what clean but this last stay the lady at the front desk had a bad attitude very rude I believe her name was Maria not even friendly
- Verified traveler (4/5): - What I like is that the A/C worked. I did not like all in the room was old ,broken and definitely didn’t appreciate the cockroaches.
- Karsten (8/5): Like it - Liked it. Good place for truck drivers. Good service. 24h coffee and cereal.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible - There was no remote,no functioning AC, and the room was not habitable. You get what you pay for but probably could have found something way better for the price.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The photos of the property are deceiving. The pool has no useable pool furniture. The grounds are unkept and dirty. The room was ok but the bathroom needs better upkeep. The toilet paper holder was coming off the wall and the floorboards were rusty. The shower leaked from somewhere in the wall.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - They turn A/C's off, so it will take hours for the room to cool down to a bearable temperature. There were dead bugs all over the floor. Staff is not very friendly.
- Miguel (2/5): - It was horrible
- Verified traveler (8/5): - How spacious the room was. Also excellent a.c. close to restaurants and fuel stations. Comfortable beds
- Christopher (10/5): Good place - Booked for our drivers multiple times with no complaints
- Christopher (10/5): Great place - Stayed here multiple times really enjoyed it
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The outside looks run down but the rooms are nice. Water backup in tub. Strong smell of floor cleaner.
- Thomas (8/5): Decent - Nice room for the price, bed was comfy. Convenient location. Management staff was very friendly. It could use some updating
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The walls are too thin, you can hear everything going on next door. The towels are too small and rough, you can literally sand your skin. I also found cockroaches in my room and told the front desk to no avail. They didn't care, did nothing to remedy the problem. They only told me that they had already "sprayed ". I wasn't offered anything for my inconvenience
- Jose (4/5): - Was very disappointed with accommodations. Hotel did not provide an iron or ironing board. No hair dryer either. Fortunately we took our own but there was no place convenient to plug them. The vanity had no outlets.if you stay here, bring your own extension cord. You'll need it.
- Richard (6/5): - Door locks dont latch. No hot water in shower.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Only small cofee cup for breakfast ! No donas no corn flake and nasty sofa
- Leticia (8/5): - Good!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Fridge. Would not freeze Musty water not very hot phone not working did not bring clean toewls had to get uce frim a cooler at front office. For price was poor value.
- Eduardo (8/5): - Pros : Very close from shopping area
Cons: Internet isn't working , so I Stay in lobby for PC working
- Jesus (2/5): - The lady at the front was very rude.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Poor and dirty and service was bad I’d never go back again
- Ebony (8/5): - Nice area
- Luz (6/5): recomendation - my room was clean but, this location change a lot whit the years, I am strongly belive thaht they need to renovate.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - A crockroche was in the bathroom when we just entered the room. My wife and kids were dissapointed and afread.
- Michael (4/5): NOT THE BEST ANYMORE - I HAVE USED STAYED AT THE HOTEL WHEN EVER I STAY IN LAREDO.THE CURRENT OWNER RUINED THE LANDSCAPE, TAKEN OUT ALL THE SHADE TREES AND THE DRIVE IN CANOPE,THINKING IT LOOKS BETTER THAT WAY.THIS IS NOT THE HOMELY STAY I USED TO FEEL WHEN I STAYED AT THE HOTEL. THE HOTEL LOST MY BUSNIESS.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Pass this one up.. head for something better - The air conditioner barely worked. The wall was falling apart. First floor room with outside entrance. Not very safe. Had to push the sofa in front of the door cuz didn't feel secure with the locks.....ppl seen bringing cases of beer. Heard ppl knocking on doors. Didn't feel safe
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The pictures of the place on this site are not of the place!!!!
- Yessenia (6/5): Ok for the price - Just stayed to sleep a few hours on the way home from a weekend trip. Bed was comfortable. Hotel looks like it was very nice at one time but now looks dated. For the price; was fine, and it was a plus that they had a mini- fridge and microwave.
- Rene (2/5): - Messy room, not cleaned
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet place - Great stay, comfortable and quiet. Easy access to local points of interest.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Old building. Nice people.
- Bryan (8/5): My stay - It was a good experience
- Maraya (2/5): - They gave my room away after I took the time to be send them a message to let them know it would be a late check in and they still gave it away
- Stephen (8/5): I recommend - Dead Cockroach on the floor. Good news, it was dead, no more spotted. Spring beds. Nice pool and beautiful lobby. Friendly attendant. Good value!
- Bryan (10/5): Good cheap place to stay - It’ was great. Good people and a nice room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The stay was okay. The only thing is that they require a $100 deposit if you use this website. They lady in the front desk was somewhat rude.
- Noemi (10/5): Great location. - The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful with the reservation process and checking.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Only of its urgent - When we arrive the room wasn’t ready and we have to wait 30 minutes until was ready
- Fernanda (4/5): Terrible experience - They didn’t have freakfast which I paid for.
Didn’t have hot water.
They tried to charge me a different fee conpared to the website
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not so good! - I will NOT use hotels.com for a hotel listing again!!
- Contreras (10/5): Great pool delicious breakfast & slept like a baby - Pool was a good place to chat with other guest the staff was quick on their feet no problems at all nice and quiet and the rooms as cold has you would like it and i slept like a baby
- Roxanna (8/5): - Kids loved the pool
- Ivan Salvador (10/5): - Great deal cost / quality. Close to shopping mall and very easy to find it and park.
- margaret (8/5): - this was an older hotel but very nice and clean rooms. I didn't get to try breakfast but lots of restaurants in surrounding area. close to softball fields.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - T
The room is clean but smells cigarettes a lot.
Great location next the I35
- David (10/5): The desk staff are very friendly and so helpful. - Hotel desk staff are very friendly and so very understanding we went to Laredo on this trip for a funeral and the staff at the desk were so very compassionate about our trip giving their condolences and asking if we were okay. I have never been to a hotel where the desk staff even care why you visit their city they just take your money and that's it they do not even ask if you know your way around town.
- Noralee (10/5): Nice hotel it's
near downtown Laredo and the mall - The staff are friendly and housekeeping department are friendly as well. I will recommend this hotel to others that will be traveling to Laredo Texas
- Verified traveler (6/5): Decent place - Decent place to stay for a night while travelling.
- Elia (4/5): - The worst breakfast and coffee. Better not advertise free breakfasts if that's what they have to offer.
- Mary (8/5): Service for breakfast was horrible!!! - Check in was good. But the free breakfast was another thing. We had two tickets for breakfast n my husband was not able to get up n get his breakfast so I took his ticket n the cook was so rude. He told me I could only take one breakfast n would have to pay for the second one. I told him I would go n vine back n he said I would still get charged. So I went back to the room n my husband was upset n made his way to get breakfast. N instead of telling him ok have a seat he called him by his room number n told him to sit down. So of course my husband exchanged words with him. We were not about to go have breakfast the next morning!!!!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad hotel - Restroom roof was leaking. It smelled like a cheap motel bad customer service AND above all what they show on the internet as the motel rooms or the pool are NOTHING alike!!!!! I was not happy at all. I also was unable to sleep, it had 3 doors and felt very unsecured.
- Jennifer (10/5): Free hot breakfast - Very clean and great service.. The pool was very clean also. Free hot breakfast..
- Silvester (10/5): Awesome!!!! - The staff was great had the best bed ever slept like a baby I so recommend this hotel!!
- Jorge (8/5): Staying at Laredo - The lady from the front desk was very nice.
The breakfast was good.
Nice Location of the hotel, however it looks a kind of old.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room was very dated and tired looking. I was going to blow dry my hair and much to my chagrin there was not a plug in anywhere near the mirror or in the bathroom. Had to move the bed away from the wall to find a useable plugin.
The breakfast leaves much to be desired. It is definitely a "no frills" breakfast. Given only a fork, no salt or pepper and the toast was not buttered .... so very dry. The hotel definitely caters to the Spanish speaking patrons.
- patty (2/5): :( - :(
- David (4/5): breakfast 7:30? - The breakfast was only available after 7:30 am. We needed it to be by 6:30. This was a problem. We had to buy our own breakfast which added to the cost.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Looking for cheap, stay here. - Booked the hotel at the last minute when i needed to stay in town. Unfortunately, 20 minutes was not enough time for the front desk to receive the fax reservation confirmation so I was told I just had to wait, nothing could be done for me until the fax came through. After waiting a little while longer with no concern for the person sitting in their lobby, I called Hotels.com customer service who verified everything and called the front desk and faxed over the confirmation within a couple of minutes so I finally got to check in. This is listed as a no-frills hotel and it is exactly that. Mattress was creaky and lumpy, television appeared to be an old 25", two pillows for a king size bed. Room appeared to be clean. I chose this hotel for price (cheapest in town) and as long as that is your main criteria, it should be a pleasant stay. Did not partake of the morning breakfast, just slept and then left. The pool area is big and looks very nice.
- Matthew (4/5): Well, you know - Texas is a great state. I recommend some place other than Laredo, there are many.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Fair Hotel for the price - The hotel is an older one the is starting to show its wear. But it wasn't bad. Even thought it was close to the freeway we were far enough in the back that the traffic noise was not a problem. The only complaint we had was that the pillows were thin and no extras were available for use.
