Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (6/5): Stay away.... - Lost my reservation but eventually found it. Room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Carpet was stained. Smoke detector was missing and a washcloth was stuffed in the hole where it was.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a great little hotel for the price. It’s not a new hotel but if you are looking for a clean, inexpensive, safe hotel, look no farther!! The owner is the nicest person you can meet! We just loved him!
The rooms are clean, the paint is fresh, and we felt safe! We paid $70 for two queen beds!!! And you couldn’t have asked for an easier, nicer check in!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Skyline is a good place to stay when on a budget. Rooms were clean. No Kleenex. No spot to hang wet towels. Not fancy but I got what I needed. Nice people. Hard to get in and out of the parking lot. Initially hard to find. Sign too small.
- Cristy (10/5): Must stay at Skyline - We had a wonderful stay and the owner was kind and informational about questions we had about the locations of different places to visit. Will pass along and will plan a future stay. Property was very clean and personable.
- Tammy (8/5): I would stay again. Very Friendly - Staff was above and beyonfmd friendly and helpful.
- Misty (10/5): Mazing - Amazing, the owner was awesome. It's small and just what we needed for bike fest. The owner was very knowledgeable about it and gave us advice since it was our 1st trip
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The gentleman that runs it, very friendly and efficient.
- Jerry (10/5): Nice little place - Super nice people, very clean.. nice pool
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We had a room booked at the Skyline through Expedia. We showed up to check in and the office was locked. We called the hotel number. The person who answered said it was impossible that we had a reservation. We told him we had used Expedia. He said he was 2 hours away at a ball game and there was no one who could help. He had no recommendation for our next course of action. He later called back and said he took the charge of our card. Frustrating to plan a getaway and the hotel you booked refuses you.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Nice people !!!! Just had bed bugs
- Robert (8/5): Cute smaller motel. - Very nice, small motel. Perfect for our stay. Amazingly friendly staff and outstanding service! Have never been escorted to the room to make sure it was acceptable. Very clean. Will definitely consider a stay in the future.
- Edwin (10/5): AWESOME - Our stay here was wonderful. Hotel was clean a had a very homelike feel. Staff was very friendly and some of the nicest people I've met. My kids loved the pool and the staff was very friendly towards them also. Will recommend this motel to everyone and will definitely be here again
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Well this is the first place that on a Friday night that u cant check in after 9. So when I got there they were closed. Which since I paid online I lost the money and had to go to another hotel.
- Tiffany (10/5): - Loved the prices. The people are extrmelt kind and caring. Kids loved the pool. Will definetely use them again and highly recommend them!
- Valerie (10/5): - I wouldnt change anything about it. It was a perfect stay
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Woke up each morning with a sore back. Beds need replaced.
- Janet (10/5): Great price - We had a nice stay. Owners and staff were very courteous.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice and affordable - The owner was very friendly and helpful upon arrival. Check in was smooth and quick. Air conditioner was turned on before we arrived so room was cool which was nice on a very hot day! Room was nothing special but was roomy and clean (which is more important to me than fancy). The bed was not as comfortable as our bed at home but it wasn’t bad.
We would definitely stay there again.
- Stevie (8/5): - This was a great place to stay because it was close to fun restaurants and bars as well as fun things to do at The Lake of the Ozarks. The owner, Richard, was wonderful to chat with and made us feel like home.
- Charles (8/5): Older motel - An older motel that is in need of updates.
- mike (10/5): weekend - staff was very friendly room was clean
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice place, great location!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - EVERYTHING WAS AS EXPECTED FOR THE PRICE. WOULD RECOMMEND AND WILL RETURN AGAIN IF IN THE AREA.
- Kelsey (8/5): - The Skyline Motel was a cute "mom and pop" style place that is very well maintained. Upon check-in, we were given the highest level of customer service from the man at the front desk. He made sure everything was in a great shape. The bathroom was updated and the room was a nice size. We were comfortable hanging out in the evening after our conference sessions were over. Very easy drive to our conference at Tan-Tar-A as well as close to many restaurants and shops.
- Tammy (10/5): Wonderful quiet motel right off of the main drag! - The hotel staff were wonderfully friendly and waited up for me to arrive on the first night. I was shown my room and asked if I needed anything. Everything in the room was checked to ensure it worked before the hotel staff person went back to the office. Absolutely no complaints!!!!
- Peggy (6/5): Hope this helps. - I would say it was a ok place to stay if you don't mind them not cleaning at all while you stayed there. I stayed there three nights and the room wasn't cleaned once. But on the plus side the male that checked us in was very helpful on telling us about things to try or go see. So over all it was a ok stay. :)
- David (6/5): Nice little motel, great location, a few problems - The room smelled musty. Hard on my allergies. They've worked hard to make it a nice place - nice beds, newer showers, fresh paint. Nice to have a refrigerator and microwave. Took a long time for hot water to come out of the facets.
They cleaned my room and took away my cooler and my son's jacket before we had a chance to check out. We went to get breakfast and returned before checkout - they wouldn't let us back in our room because it was being vacuumed.
- Andrea (2/5): Never Again - The gentleman at the front desk was nice and that was the only good thing about this stay. We had no hot water in our room. Apparently, we were supposed to announce that we were bringing a boat which then became a big deal. My friend was trying to make a repair to the boat when a fellow visitor came out and complained rudely. The TV had bad reception and the picture wasn't clear. No available ice. I booked online and will do my homework better next time.
- Peter (6/5): Clean older budget hotel - Older place but nice and clean. Owner was very nice it was close to restraunts, shopping and the lake. For the price and condition I would stay there again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): little motel - the staff was great .... but we were not able to park in front of our room because he had people with boats staying there who needed the space to get their boats out ...there was only one light in the room there were no lights by the bed .the bathroom had no shelves no hangers or toilet lid so there was no place to put your towel or cloths when you showered .
- Robert (6/5): Good value - Good value. Not the most luxurious stay but about right for what you pay for it. Friendly staff that provide "johnny-on-the-spot" service.
- T (8/5): Enjoyed - We would definitely recommend this hotel. We were traveling on our Harley and the last 60 miles was in a rain storm, when we checked in the gentleman helping us offered to dry our clothes in his dryer. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you
- Ward Wollard (10/5): Very clean and neat - The staff was very easy to get along with. Very Motorcycle freindly.
- sheila (8/5): Enjoyed the stay - We enjoyed our stay. Staff was nice, room clean, convenient to everywhere we need/wanted to be.
Con: bed was hard for my back and the hotel entrance was confusing at first. I passed it at least 2x or entered the business next door, lol.
I would stay there again.
- Austin (8/5): Solid inexpensive option close to the action. - Although not directly on the water, the location of this motel offers quick and easy access to restaurants, gas stations, shopping, and all of the lake-centric activities you want to do!
Manager on-site is a very friendly guy, was helpful and made check in and out easy.
- Greg (4/5): - Everything was covered with little ants
- Leslie (6/5): - Room is very dated. The front desk man could not have been nicer or more helpful. Showed us to our room, helped us bring our stuff in. Made sure the tv worked.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Welcoming - Very nice reception, very nice room, clean, friendly, loved it!!!reasonable priced.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff was friendly and accomodating. The design in the room was modern and refreshing. There was no microwave in the room as advertised, and safety was a concern....no deadbolt or chain, just a regular door lock. No peephole, but I could see the outside from around the air conditioner.
- Ann-Marie (4/5): - There was nobody in the office when we arrived to try to check in and we had to wait for an hour for them to return.
The tub had not been cleaned before our stay.
This hotel is old, so don't expect much. The beds were okay, but check out is earlier than most places also, at 10 am! Housekeeping knocked on our door at 9 and tried to come in before we could respond.
The location is good and there is plenty to do in the neighborhood.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The owner was very friendly. The room was clean. The only reason I would not stay there again was because I didn't feel very secure. There was no deadbolt on the door, just a chain in addition to the regular lock. Also, the curtains were not very thick so it didn't feel safe to change anywhere but in the bathroom as the room was on the first floor. All in all, it was an ok stay.
- Ellen (6/5): A nice motel - The room was big, the shower had hot water and was tall enough for me, the heater worked, and the owners are lovely! It is a motel, not a suite at the four seasons, but it was a very nice stay.
- MIchael (8/5): - Ver clean place to stay. A bargain but a bit outdated. It was perfect for an overnight stay. Room was super clean! Staff at front desk were nice too.
- David (10/5): Good place to spend night, very affordable. - Rooms were very clean and comfortable, TV was outdated. Overall an excellent place to stay.
- David (8/5): Good one-nighter in the middle of Osage beach - Stayed one night. Front Desk/Owner very friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was very clean, fairly comfortable.
- Stacy (10/5): - Clean room, friendly staff. Let us check in early with no problem. Basic room but well worth it for the price. Highly recommend it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Hotel - Nice accodomodations. Beds were comfortable, very clean
- ROBERT (8/5): Skyline good for the price - Clean room needs a vending machine/ice
- Verified traveler (6/5): Suited needs. - Dated but clean!
- Brian (8/5): Nothing fancy but a nice stay - No frills hotel but a very acceptable place to stay for a few nights.
