Saw 2 Eagles, turtles, & fish when out on the canoe, which when you stay you can use for free, (canoe an kayaks). The sunset grill had great food for great prices, we also went to crossroads restaurant they also have good food an good prices which is within walking distance. The employees, workers an everyone were so friendly an helpful. Check in an out is so easy. They also have carts to take your belongings to your cabin the short walk from parking area. We will definitely be back!! Its our new favorite place we even booked an extra day, it was so relaxing an fun.They have multiple areas set up to have camp fires theres a play area for kids its just perfect!

• Verified traveler (10/5): Cozy cabins - These cabins are so cool! Beautiful wood interior, efficient use of space, and clean. With the "attic" area, had the feel of a treehouse. Easy no-contact check-in and check-out. We arrived late but still in time to grab a bite at Sunset Grill and watch the sun set. Pizzas were yummy with free refills on sodas. Kayaks are included for guest use, so we took them out in the morning before we hit the road. Great place, wish we could have stayed longer!

• Brittney (10/5): Awesome place to stay! - We stayed there for a soccer tournament. It was right on the lake. The cabin was beautiful. Very clean. Perfect for my family and I. It was my mom, my 2 boys and me that went. We had a 2 bedroom cabin. It was absolutely perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It was so peaceful. Nobody bothers you. I will definitely be staying there again!!! There is a restaurant/bar about 3 feet away from the cabins. There is a park for younger kids. Boat / kayak rentals. A beach nearby. It was just an absolutely wonderful stay. And the people that work there are amazing and so friendly. I really enjoyed our stay and so did my family! We will definitely be back!!!
• Jaime (10/5): - Great views as property is directly on the lake shore. Fabulous cabins, very clean and super cute. Communication from staff before we arrived was great. I imagined the “resort” to be larger, almost like a camp ground, we expected to sit on a beach but it was tiny and covered with kid’s toys under a tree. The cabins are very close to one another. However kayak and canoe rentals are free and a very nice feature. Overall we are pleased and will come back for future getaways.

Our favorite part about this location was that everything was within 30-40 minutes that we wanted to checkout. Such as lake erie specifically presque isle. The edinboro lake was great to stay on with fish popping out of the water. Highly recommend this resort for a quiet getaway. I will be going back!

Did have an issue with the AC unit not working in our cabin though, which didn't realize until later in the evening, so we couldn't really reach out to management at that time. But overall we would definitely come back!

• Candy B (10/5): - The owner was amazing. Our cabins hot water heater went bad. So the 2nd day we were there I went to take a shower and there was no hot water. As soon as I texted Bridget { I think that was her name} she was over there immediately to figure out what was wrong. So she told us to move to another cabin { which was a bigger and beautiful cabin}. She offered to help move our stuff and everything. She couldn't have been more accommodating then she was. She thought we were upset. This was out of anybody's control. These things happen!! How could we be upset when she kept apologizing and was so very nice. Plus I had trouble with the TV and she came over twice to help us with it. This would have been the 4th year we have gone there and we attend to go every year after this.

• Marc (10/5): Hidden gem, will be back. - Took the family here for a quick weekend getaway on the lake. Our cabin was spotlessly clean and comfortable, had a great time grilling on the deck. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant which seems to be very new. Great food and service, and beautiful view of the lake while you eat. Unfortunately we were not there on an evening with live music, but they have a great stage setup and it must be quite a venue. Communication was outstanding, received text messages when the cabin was ready for check-in. Had a little trouble finding a parking spot, so I sent a text to the number provided and received an immediate response with directions on where to park (I was only a few feet from where I should park but wanted to be sure it was permitted. Busy night at the restaurant so spaces were at a premium). Life jackets, kayaks and canoes available for guests at no extra cost, so we got to spend some time on the lake. Will definitely be back.
• David (6/5): Disapppointed - I was disappointed in the sleeping accomodations - the twin bunk bed were right in the hallway next to the bathroom. While a coffee pot was provided there were no filters to use with the coffee I brought. Typically I do not have to take out the trash for any place except when camping. Being listed on a hotel site this was not the usual. FOr the price it was not the best choice.

• breanne (8/5): Nice getaway - Grounds workers were very responsive and friendly. Relaxing place, I would revisit again (this time I would take advantage of free kayaks). Place was cozy and quiet. My only notes would be, the cooking/heating unit was right up against the wall of bedroom and made the room "buzz" and vibrate loudly. We had to turn it completely off in order to sleep. The comforters could use washed (not a big deal but I did notice that) and a fly swatter available would be helpful, as the place had a fly or two inside upon arrival and with it being next to a lake.. Flying bugs inside probably is a common occurrence.

• Sarah (6/5): - Our 2-bedroom cabin was, in a word, fine. It had a queen bed, and a set of bunk beds. There were enough pillows and extra blankets available and lots to do for kids and adults alike. The canoes and kayaks were a great addition. But this property has clearly not seen any routine maintenance in a long time; the deadbolt would not close, the dishwasher filter had never been cleaned and was disgusting, the bathroom vanity drawers were falling apart, and the toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall. When it comes to available supplies within the cabin, we booked it as a group of 5 and yet we were only provided with 5 forks, knives, and spoons and had to either wash dishes every meal or buy our own. We stayed for 4 nights and had to bring our own towels for showers because they only provided a small number and would have charged us for extras. The water availability was seriously questionable. I understand being patient with hot water in a cabin setting, but there were many times when the water simply shut off in the middle of a shower or there was not enough to flush the toilet. When I asked the office, they mentioned that we were on a well and had to just wait for the water to come back on. So, was it fine? Yes. Would we stay there again? Maybe? But not likely.
• Tammy (10/5): - We enjoyed are stay at the cabins Our only complaint is the Sunset Grill next door We checked on line before going about pets and the website stated that pets were allowed We went and did sit on the patio outside but was soon asked to leave because pets were not welcomed I would think that if you are that close to a resort that allows pets your business should cater to that also But please change your website because that is a double whammy for guests. Very disappointed with the Sunset Grill

The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. What truly set this cabin apart was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine kindness. The people at the cabin went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable and memorable. One of the things I appreciated the most was the sense of safety and tranquility that enveloped the entire property. I felt completely at ease throughout my stay, allowing me to truly relax and unwind. Another highlight of my stay was the availability of boat rentals on-site. Being able to explore the beautiful surroundings on the water was a delightful experience. It added an extra layer of adventure and excitement to my time at the cabin. Overall, I cannot recommend this Edinboro cabin enough. The combination of friendly staff, peaceful atmosphere, and convenient amenities like boat rentals make it the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway. I am already looking forward to my next visit and creating more wonderful memories at this incredible cabin.

Great place to get away from busy city life and wind down for a weekend or week. Bring an Xbox or PS4/5 for rainy days, easy connection. We were there for a college graduation, but would love to come back and just kick back.

Overall, we loved the property and the lakeside view but we did have some minor critiques that would bring our 4 stars up to a 5. We feel that adding basic kitchen necessities would go a long way (ie coffee and tea, tissues, and or paper towels, salt and pepper). There was a lack of privacy due to the near transparency of the blinds in the main bedroom - a curtain would prevent this. We felt the sheets weren’t the best quality (felt a bit rough) and there was no additional blankets in the main bedroom. Further, there wasn’t really a place to hang jackets (save for the hooks on the bathroom door and the rod in the main bedroom). I found that the wifi was far too slow and I’m not sure why that was. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable and we would recommend this property.
• Michelle (4/5): - Connecting cabin was extremely noisy, doors were slammed we could here stomping and unable to sleep all night. There was orange peels and other trash on the ground scattered throughout the parking lot. ( not exactly welcoming) Overall the cabin wasn't bad in cleanliness as we were there for small getaway. Wasn't to impressed by the noise. Limited parking for the amount of cabins as well. I was impressed that there was charging station for tesla though. Perhaps might be a better experience during summer months, unsure.

Beautiful place but not much to do at this time of year. The bathroom was not too clean i had brought cleaning wipes and cleaned the toilet. I wished there were light posts in the evening as it was really dark going down the path to our cabine.
